War has been a constant companion of my friends and I for longer than I care to remember. I can barely recall the halcyon days of my youth and the freedom from the constants of sieges and pitched battles.

[Not entirely true. She had a strong recall, and could still remember some of her earliest years well right down to Leonhardt's face, and he had been dead now almost eighty years. But being dramatic like this could be fun, and it didn't harm anything.]

I would not say I am especially skilled at strategy, but I have had the time to pick up the details from watching Vashtor at work. It is picking up as I go.

So I would see, and it appears that we are expected to crush our opposition? I do not know that I trust my powers without an implement, so this could be interesting.
