Since Fern can't fully appreciate first death symptoms of the flu (e.g. vomiting, sweating, sore throat) due to the limitations of his grass body, would it be possible for him to feel what symptoms he can experience (nausea, full body aches, trouble sleeping and so on) on top of him having trouble keeping his body human-shaped along the lines of his power warping (so, collapsing randomly into a pile of grass with some flu-like symptoms)?
