It is a consistent challenge for many players, and we completely agree with you that a detailed spreadsheet is an excellent approach to a possible solution. Especially one in which people can provide more detail as to how a specific thing might bother them. Putting it in the hands of the players is also an excellent way to keep it up to date and let people be more in control of how they present their triggers.
We know that bringing up certain triggers can be difficult so we're empathetic to why it might have been difficult to vocalize it before now. We do try to prioritize player comfort as much as possible especially since it is a horror game so this is definitely a concern worth bringing up and shedding some light on.
