[ She’s not wrong. A height advantage and whatever physique he claims to have has got little on the whole post-apocalyptic workout she’s rocking. He still hesitates, briefly weighing the alternatives and coming up with exactly zilch that don’t end in horrifying, gruesome death. ]

Here goes nothing.

[ After a few seconds spent getting situated and stable, he rests his hands on the window and pushes up against the glass. ] Come on, come on. [ And, miraculously, the window starts to slide up, opening into a currently unoccupied but furnished apartment. He lets out a half hysterical laugh of relief. ] Who knew people were so trusting?

[ Uh, not that he’s complaining. Their lack of caution is his continued survival.

Topher starts to pull himself up over the ledge, hurried but making some attempt not to kick or otherwise unbalance his current step-ladder slash zombie guru. He stumbles inside, letting the unused weapon fall towards the wooden floor, and takes a few seconds to collect himself from the last... several minutes? If that? Adrenaline does funny things to one’s time perception. But he’s not the only one in harm’s way so, after a deep breath or four, he’s back at the window with one hand braced against the frame and the other held down towards her. ]
