We can use these for now. [ giving his face a quick scrub, he starts to wipe his neck as he jerks his thumb down the road. ]
There is a stand selling t-shirts over there. Why don't I get you a change of clothes and then I'll wash the outfit I'd ruined for you? It's the least I can do.
