That uniqueness hasn't exactly disappeared here, what with most of the other Sleepers also being human (or some variation thereof). If anything, this town is completely homogeneous compared to all the different species in Ooo, and that doesn't help at all.

So it's nice to find someone who gets it, even if it means they have to be 'unique', too.

The explanation of New York is confusing, and has him wondering if it's some kind of giant kingdom-equivalent.
