OOC Limits:
-It is exceptionally rare that we hit that line with me. It's happened twice in this game (which amuses and surprises me), but it's also easy to avoid when the event calls for it, so I'll put up warnings if the event has the possibility of including something. About This Character: a lot of people call margo a bitch. lol but she's got a fiercely loyal heart and she loves her people. she speaks the hard truths and isn't great at holding punches. she's a magician so she can do magic and she loves a good party and a great outfit. and yes, she was a high queen of a narnia-esque place.
Any Warnings: she has a dirty mouth and she can be extremely forward and crude sometimes.

Present Life: so right now she's still settling into the city. she's going to be close with her fellow magicians (eliot waugh, quentin coldwater, julia wicker, penny adiyodi, and josh hoberman). but she's trying to make new friends, or something.

Personal Style: I do both prose and action, but my default is bracket text unless specified! Happy to match a style. As far as tags go, I play in a couple other games and tend to hit every thread I have every 2-3 days, and I'll backtag literally forever. I have threads going from March in games that are closed. OOC Limits: I don't rp smut as a pretty strict line- kissing is great, violence is fun to write and I'm certainly not squicked by blood, guts, body horror, or gore. That said, that sort of sexual stuff is a no-go in a public space. Otherwise, I'm usually good!

Day to Day Activities: Not a lot on this because he's new- right now, poking around and seeing the limits of this world he's stuck in.

About This Character: One part chef, one part magic, all parts disaster. Taako is a Dungeons and Dragons elf wizard, half of the famed Texmex Twins with his sister Lup, and all around general nuisance. He casts spells, he's got the big ol' ears, he's the whole package. It's important to note that he's from a podcast medium so art and interpretation varies a lot; I try to keep my icons consistent but for visuals he's just under 6 feet, dark brown skin and long whiteish blonde hair, usually tied back in a braid. Think this or this for quick reference. Mostly, he's obnoxious, a little too OP, and liable to be up in a lot of business that doesn't concern him. He's also the kind of guy who will unbalance you for fun or find enjoyment in confusing or tricking people, often through flirting, slight of hand magic, and all around general lying. In general- not great, but absolutely a hell of a ride. He's also got a soft spot for kids, but don't let him be a parent. He's more the cool uncle you get firecrackers from without telling your mom. He's also super gay for his boyfriend Kravitz and absolutely won't be pursuing an outside relationship, no matter how much he flirts.

Any Warnings: Taako's canon and history covers a LOT of death and murder; there is blood on his hands and he isn't very apologetic about it. He's also got a big thing around memory, forgetting, and mind control, though he's very tight-lipped on his trauma so it'd be work to get this out of him.

Present Life: He just showed up! So right now he's mostly just pissed. Since he's fresh off 2 years at another game and had a promise of going home, the fact he's stuck in another weird town without food is absolutely the pits. At the very least he has some of his family with him, but he's certainly strained right now.
Future Ideas: I'm working it out with the mods ATM so no strict timeline now, but I'm hoping to get him offering magic lessons soon! Since D&D wizard magic can be learned by anyone and he canonically loves teaching, he'll probably fall into that soon (once I have all the OOC details cleaned up).

CR You Want: Truly anything- he's brand new and I'd love to get him out there. I am especially fond of his relationship with kids, so here's my call to child characters, I love you and Uncle Taako wants to hand out firecrackers.

Character Name: Vira-Lorr
Age: Around 314 years old (looks late 20s, early 30s)
Employment in Deerington: Currently employed at the Red Sparrow (nights - Escort). She will be resuming her time with FEAR's forces starting in September when her memories will be back (though she may moonlight 1 night a week at the Sparrow afterwards).
Residence in Deerington: Prospero Townhouses 401 (2 Bed/2 Bath/1 Private Sauna) with her pets: Winfield (Husky), Sharona (Absol) and Susan (A "Luijt," a powerful fae creature that looks like a green chicken with a gem in its forehead.)
Day to Day Activities:
Normally she works late nights as an Escort, so she sleeps in late until just past noon.
She gets any business of the day out of the way quickly and busies herself with retraining swordplay or magic, or investigating various places around Deerington in the hopes of some small clue as to what's going on.
She generally gets frustrated and has one drink (on a work night) around 7 pm, before she goes to work. On non-work nights, she either meets with a friend or drinks herself insensate and collapses to doze until the next day.

About This Character:
Libertine to a point, freedom-loving, playful and more than a bit of a lush, Vira-Lorr is usually out to enjoy herself and make sure that others around her are able to do much the same. Of course, in a terrible town like Deerington, this also means that she has to do the sort of thing she used to do in a century of war and kill monsters, deal with strange horrors and protect others so that she has the freedom still and they do as well to drink themselves senseless when the night is done.

Rinse, repeat, cut the check. this has been her life for over a hundred years, and it hasn't changed that much in Deerington. When she has free time, she trains or finds people to tease and have fun with. She tries not to be tied down or take things too seriously, but the reality is that sometimes you have to be serious and, as much as it annoys her, she does have a responsible streak somewhere in there, next to a liver that the gods apparently gave her personally.

She is currently suffering amnesia. Memories of her world have been filtering in gradually this month thanks to the Great Sleep. Her magical skill has been slowly returning, and she hopes all memories will be back soon. That happens, in one big flood, on Sept 1.

Any Warnings: A couple
-One: She is a drunk. As in, she is a functioning alcoholic, but she is way beyond a social drinker. She has spent the better part of the last century drinking her troubles away, and even in amnesia, old habits die hard. This means that she is prone to a lot of the bad life choices alcoholics are (though as she does not really know how to drive well, she does not own a car, so that's never going to be a combo you deal with).
-Two: Her canon's kind of odd in uncomfortable ways. The entire female cast fawned over a guy that all but two of them raised from infancy, just as they had the previous three generations of his family. She and others have been known to make somewhat bawdy jokes when drunk about pairing up with any of those four or wanting to, and honestly? It gets weird at times in the series. So, she has a certain... free attitude on who she might pair up with romantically that can be at times uncomfortable.

I, personally, will be keeping her romantic partners to 18+ as a general rule.
-Three: Her canon is a war canon. This means she's been in a sword and sorcery army, fighting battle after battle, for a hundred years. She doesn't deal with PTSD, but she's got a lot of very bloody war stories under her belt and many of them are unpleasant and graphic.
-Four: She thinks Earth holidays are weird, and is known to have strange opinions about them.
-Five: Her canon includes a metric ton of PG-13 cheesecake, so... don't be surprised if it comes up in a memory event possibly. Seriously, the characters have a generational tradition of 'peeping' into the womens' side of the hot springs, every continent, like a bunch of dumb anime men characters. It's that stereotypical.

Present Life:
-Currently dealing with Amnesia for about 2 more weeks. Memories gradually returning from home. She's coping, knowing it should end soon hopefully.
-The return of her memories will undoubtedly cause some tension with a few specific characters (Looking at you, Chloe), but probably not rile up any established relationships.
-Not in a romantic relationship at this time: she's slept with a few people, once, but there's no long-term ties. She thinks, currently, that she might have been in a more serious relationship with one or two of them (she's wrong). She flirts with a lot of people, though most of the ones she does so often with aren't especially serious (Reaper, for example). She has been considering 'getting out there' and asking someone out lately, because lonely nights with a bottle aren't doing a great job of dealing with stress.
-Has established several friends (Really oughta do a CR chart someday), many of whom have supported her through her memory problems, for which she is very grateful.
-Has died three times in Deerington.

Future Ideas:
-Death: Not until late October at the earliest. I'm known to have a temptation to do awful things to my characters, but I would like Vira-Lorr to have a taste of freedom and power for a few months without killing her again and knocking her down a peg. She's been down a peg for months.
-Romance? I'm open to the idea of it, and I'd kind of like her to ask someone out, but her personality can make this hard. She's arguably easy to like, but kind of hard to take dating-wise.
-Investigations of Sodder: Oh man, expect more of this. She's explored the Boats and Police Station, and she's on a tear for more intel. I may have purchased a clue recently regarding the docks, but we'll see when that pans out and what it translates to.
-Pets: No, she's good at three. Her house is a menagerie of pokemon, fae and an idiot mangy husky mutt. She doesn't need more. But I love using them for funny antics.
-An Intervention: I'm inclined to open her up to having an intervention in the coming year. Her drinking is a problem, and it's starting to be more apparent. She needs better ways to cope.

CR You Want: All - Friends, A Lover or Two, Frienemies, Rivals, People she loaths. Really, I'm open to most.
CR You Don't Want: I would say that the only thing I don't really want is to avoid turning her storyline into purely slice of life. SoL reflects her attempts to keep from going insane in this place, but she will always be angling to fight the bad guys and figure out a way to save people. If she doesn't keep up with that, she's not Vira-Lorr.

About This Character: a pickpocket, con artist and general pain in the ass, kenzi is mostly harmless. she is fiercely loyal to the people she loves and will do whatever it takes to protect them. she's mouthy, sarcastic, weird and always ready with timely pop culture reference. she's a clotheshorse (she's got the goth style). she loves to drink and EAT. she also lives in a world where fae exists and are a part of her everyday life, so any supernatural creatures, she's cool with mostly.

Any Warnings: she cusses, she's from an abusive home and lived on the streets a lot of her life.

Present Life: she's just figuring out this place.
Future Ideas: i would love for her to buddy up with even more people. i would love for her to con a few people, or get caught doing so. and sure, i'm open to some caught feelings. i would also love her to take people under her wing and help kids or people who need someone to look after them. she's great with wallflower types.

Personal Style: I have a strong preference for prose. I utilize italics to indicate things communicated by Wrench in ASL and a different font to indicate things typed on his Fluid. If this doesn't work for you for any reason or you strongly prefer a different style of communicating this stuff, please let me know. I'm making it up as I go along and doing what's worked for me, but I'm open to constructive feedback about what's easiest to read and parse.
OOC Limits: I'm pretty open to negotiating anything that might be of interest, but I've got a pretty hard line when it comes to neck and/or wrist trauma, so I'd rather not play out any injuries occurring in those areas.

Character Name: Wrench or Wes. He'll likely introduce himself as the former, with the latter to be revealed depending on circumstance and his own inclination.
Age: ~38
Employment in Deerington: Initial plans are to make him a bouncer for Glass, but I'm giving strong consideration to a future timeline where he becomes an instructor of ASL if any student at a local school or college feels like that would be an interest. I'm not sure how quickly I'll jump on that, though, because it'd definitely represent a sort of resignation for Wrench -- actually stitching himself into the fabric of this place in a very legitimate way that is unlike him.
Residence in Deerington: 707 David Cliff Apartments in a small, industrial-looking studio that is currently very poorly furnished.

Day to Day Activities: Wrench is very new to Deerington and just beginning to establish his “life” here. I mentioned in the August Plotting Post that in his struggle to understand this place and the circumstances that have brought him here, Wrench is rationalizing Deerington as something close to purgatory. As a result, he’s pretty convinced that everything he does and everyone he encounters is a part of some design intended to determine where he goes from here. I don’t know how much longer I’m going to play with this concept, but I wanted to find some means of rationalizing this for him, obviously.

All of that to say that right now he’s probably waffling back and forth between old habits and expectations of his behavior, were he to present himself as a changed man. So far he’s been doing quite a lot of fishing, a little bit of drinking (when he’s able to find the means), exploration and wandering, and basically being in awe of this utter horror show.

About This Character: Wrench is a former hitman who worked and was largely raised up within the Fargo mob syndicate. Five years prior to his entry in Deerington, he survived an encounter with a target that left his partner dead, and the Fargo organization all but entirely obliterated. Wrench was shot, but managed to escape the hospital with the assistance of the adversary who killed his partner and staged the ambush. He spent the time thereafter floating around and trying to sustain himself off the grid and out of the purview of the law. It wasn’t entirely successful, and he was recaptured immediately before his entry into Deerington.

Wrench came to Deerington Christmas Eve after the prison transport bus he was on came under attack. He escaped chained to another inmate, and the two were stalked through the woods. He’s lived a pretty violent life and has dealt with a lot of loss. He was conditioned into it at a young age, so I expect right now he’s dealing with a lot of feelings related to seeing kids and “innocent” people in Deerington undergo these horrors.

Important point of information: Wrench is Deaf. I've created a Frequently Asked Questions page to address some curiosities and concerns I'm anticipating, but please feel free to ask for any clarification you might need.

Any Warnings: Gun violence, murder, kidnapping, child endangerment, reckless behavior, copious use of alcohol and undoubtedly other substances…

Future Ideas:
▸ With all the young ones running around Deerington and this theme I’ve seen of “adopting children,” I’ve really started thinking about what this might do to Wrench given his own upbringing. The canon is a little fuzzy but it’s heavily implied that as a young child he was probably kidnapped, or in some other way taken under the heavy influence of a mob boss and raised up within a crime syndicate. There’s a lot of agency that was stripped from his life at a young age and he was subjected to some pretty harsh realities early on, and I think that’s going to make for some inner tumult to see other youth-types enduring these horrors. Wrench is probably not going to be the “collector” of lost children here, but if any kids out there with a tragic backstory want to cross his path, I’d like to see what it brings out in him.

▸ I’d love to give him some encounters with non-humans, or non-Homo sapiens. His world is a pretty standard one, and while it holds room for the supernatural he’s not encountered much of it himself. Wrench has met some magic-wielders and some people-who-don’t-look-like-people so far, but I’d love to keep putting more of them in his face to see how he reacts.

▸ For the sake of my own sanity, I imagine that eventually some “legitimacy” in his everyday is going to win out, so I’d like to find ways that he can start to realize he’s got more to offer than murder.

▸ Does the aforementioned include F.E.A.R. instead? Mayhaps.

▸ Will Wrench create Deerington’s first ever Deaf Coffee Night after I convince some of y’all (you know who you are) to app certain other characters (you know who they are)? MAYHAPS.

About This Character:

On the surface, Dean can either be charming and personable or gruff and abrasive depending on the mood and the circumstances around their first interaction. There's a 50/50 chance of him either charismatically endearing his way into a friendship or starting off on the wrong foot. However you slice it, though, once you get past surface level you'll find him to be intensely loyal and extremely giving in a friendship. He will do literally anything for people he considers close friends or family, up to and including fighting with/killing for/self sacrificing for them.

He's also a hunter of monsters and the supernatural, so he's a fantastic ally to have in this setting. Odds are extremely good that he's killed or maimed a good chunk of what characters will be facing here.

Beyond that he's a beacon of manpain, trauma, and self-loathing. Might be good to have someone who sees that and... pokes at it...

Present Life: Dean has CRAU history from 2 games and over 2 years of universe hopping, so he's got a very jaded, existential view on this whole place. He's struggling to feel like day to day life means anything, and he's struggling to bridge the gap with his close CR that he's ahead of timeline wise.

He's mostly going to be investing himself in hunting and fighting to keep the population relatively safe and happy, because that seems like the most impactful, meaningful thing he can do here.

Future Ideas: I'd like for Dean to accidentally get reinvested in the setting, the people, make the place feel like home and something worth fighting for again. Make him get that fighting spirit back to make a change or a difference, to try and get everyone home or stabilize the environment for those who want to stay. A resurgence of the Winchester will to fight.

CR You Want:
People who start out on a questionable note / the wrong foot, just to wind up bonding with him intensely during moments of duress and eventually become intimately close friends. Bonding in the trenches, brothers in arms type shit.

People he winds up inadvertently hooking up with sexually/romantically despite thinking he's past the 'rando one night stand' phase in his life - basically reluctant flings that he won't commit to but didn't mean to string on. Eventual FWBs as a result because it's a weird middle ground between a relationship and a hook-up? Polyamory or mutually agreed open relationships in the long term future maybe. Probably not committing to solo ships. Both dudes and chicks are acceptable here, but dudes are going to require a lot more work and will come with a lot more shame/secrecy/keeping it on the DL and not admitting it outside of the bedroom for a long, long while.

Frustrating rivalries with people he's forced to work with regardless - maybe through FEAR or work, where they just talk shit about each other and give each other a dickish hard time but don't actually get into fisticuffs over it. They're just assholes and they accept that and dislike but tolerate each other. Especially good if despite that they respect each other and put aside their differences when the shit hits the fan to help others / help each other, so there's underlying trust eventually.

About This Character: Lup is Taako's identical twin sister and is just as equally big a disaster as he is. She loves cooking, high drama, and setting as much shit as she can on fire. She's an evocation specialist with a flare for fire magic and also works as a reaper for the Raven Queen, meaning she can summon her scythe, rip portals out of nowhere, and turn into a spooky skeleton whenever she chooses. She's a social butterfly and loves nothing more than to fill every room she can with her big personality, but can also come off as rude and abrasive with her absolute honesty. She's also a trans woman and will kick ass if she comes across any anti-trans rhetoric. Because she's from a podcast medium, icons don't always line up, but for visuals, she's about 6 feet tall with dark brown skin and long whiteish blonde hair with freckles all over. Future Ideas: I'm still really vague on what I want, but I want horror and lots of it. Of course I want Lup to make friends, but enemies too. She's a very social woman and isn't afraid to ruffle feathers.

Day to Day Activities: When he's not at school or in work, he can be found hanging out where the people are- he's highly sociable and doesn't like being alone, so if a lot of people spend time in a place, he's likely to be seen there a lot. He will regularly be found at the rec center, where he plays the piano there. He tends to play classical pieces or pieces he's composed himself. Come have a listen, it's very relaxing.

About This Character: Before his world got devoured in a zombie apocalypse, Louis was a rich kid who did a bad thing and got himself sent to a boarding school for troubled youth. He was in this school when the zombies started to happen and all but one of the faculty abandoned the kids there to die (super). Despite living through 8 years of zombie hell, Louis is a genuinely nice person. He acts as the emotional support for his group and had a knack for knowing when people need to be made to feel a little better. He deals with all his trauma (and massive self-loathing issues from the aforementioned bad thing) with jokes and fooling around. He IS a fun guy, but some of it is a font too. Still, he'll absolutely talk to anyone - he's as easy to befriend as an excitable puppy. If you want some easy, positive CR, here he is. Of course, the closer a person gets to him, the more likely he is to let on about how miserable he actually is so it's kind of a double-edged sword. His world state is here, seen as he's from a canon with multiple potential canonical paths. He's also a CRAU from Entranceway.
Any Warnings: Ahaha oh shit. So as a Walking Dead character, Louis has a LOT of awful stuff in his past. You'll get a heaping of child abandonment, violence against children, kidnapping children, murdering children and the general awfulness that comes from being in a world full of zombies. About This Character: A BIG JERK. Billy is a violent, rowdy bully with a hair trigger temper who, before he got to Deerington, had no friends and no positive role models. He's an adrenaline junkie who likes avoiding problems and is very emotional but pretends he isn't. He's very "might makes right", philosophy-wise, and feels like he has to dominate every interaction he has or risk letting other people walk all over him. He has a tough exterior but inside he's actually very frightened, insecure, and lonely. Secretly a huge mama's boy who really misses her. In contrast to his usual personality, he can be very protective of the few people he actually cares about.
Any Warnings: He has a history of emotional and physical abuse, both as the victim and the perpetrator. Mostly, he received a lot of abuse from his dad.

Present Life: He's come to terms with being here and a lot of people saw a much more vulnerable side of him in his dreams, which he still kind of wants to deny. He still thinks he needs to be a tough guy all the time but he's starting to let his guard down a little and make some friends. Definitely NOT romantically interested in lame Steve Harrington and his stupid beautiful hair and doe eyes.
Future Ideas: So, in season 3 of Stranger Things, Billy went through a hell of a lot. He met the monsters that exist in his own homeworld, got possessed by the biggest, meanest one, fruitlessly tried to fight against it while it used his body to possess and kill other people, and made one whole emotional connection with a person before dying to save her immediately after. So he'll be coming back with a very different perspective than the one he has now, a little for the better (hey maybe being a nasty bastard isn't so great after all, and also some people are alright) and a little for the worse (knows what it's like to have a weird monster inside of him, ick). I'd love to do anything with that, and it's going to be the focus of his arc for the next while after he updates.

CR You Want: All of it! Anyone who can put up with him, basically. And also anyone who can't put up with him and would want to pick a fight with him. Other canon villains and anti-heroes, especially if they're morally conflicted. Or a 1 year old. He's a gd cinnamon roll and loves fantasy movies and hero stories and star wars and nougat, and he's 24/7 trying to prove that he's not evil. Present Life: Jack's wings are corporeal right now! About This Character: Tiny human child who got adopted by a monster family. Wildly misanthropic, has a truckload of fucking Issues, and good god will they let you know about it. Tends to be deliberately and performatively nasty. Likes knives. Thinks they're way smarter and better at fighting than they actually are. The edgiest lord this side of Shadow the Hedgehog, which is an exceptionally unpleasant veneer layered over a lot of bad bad self-esteem nonsense. Has died twice! So far.

Any Warnings: Any potential content warnings that might come up can be read HERE. In general I try to omit some of the darker stuff from their tags, though I'm trying to be more careful with checking people's permissions posts to ensure that they don't walk headfirst into anyone's no-zone since I wasn't always super good about this. Character Name: Fern
Age: 16/17
Employment in Deerington: Combat and Weapons Specialist at FEAR.
Residence in Deerington: 437 Allison Road. With this event the main floor has now been totally trashed twice, and there is still a broken window from when he first arrived. He doesn't make use of most of the house though, mainly sleeping on the roof and using one of the bedrooms to store his stuff.
Day to Day Activities: Fern can often be found wandering around either in town or in more nature-based spaces, such as around the lake or the national park. Now that he has joined FEAR he's in there on occasion practicing with his swords and axe, or getting into things an idiot teenage boy probably shouldn't be getting into.

He spends a lot of time out in forests away from other people. Again, he may be out there practicing his fighting skills, though he also does his more plant-y activities out there so he doesn't get weird looks, such as rooting himself into the ground so he can absorb nutrients and photosynthesizing. Finally, he also has a tendency to take naps or laze around in the canopies of trees, both in and out of town.

About This Character: Fern is the result of Adventure Time's main character, Finn, getting turned into a sentient sword and then merging with another sentient cursed sword, the Grass Sword. Physically that means he's now made out of grass and has various plant and shapeshifting powers. Mentally that means he has two separate minds making up his Fern self: that of a human teenager who grew up in a post-apocalyptic Earth and has strong opinions on heroism thanks to being a knight, and an eldritch horror who is completely loyal to said human teenager while simultaneously influencing Finn's darker thoughts and feelings. His self esteem is essentially non-existent so he's often extremely self-deprecating, and he generally thinks violence solves everything. On top of all that he has severe problems with his identity, often feeling like he doesn't know who he is anymore. This causes a lot of frustration and on really bad days can cause him to have destructive melt downs.

Any Warnings: Being made out of grass Fern comes with buckets of body horror! On top of that his self esteem is in shambles, he hates himself, and still has issues with his identity. He also has very violent tendencies. Grass Demon comes with cephalopod and spider imagery.

Present Life: He finally joined FEAR! Will convinced him having some direction might help with his emotional problems, so we'll see how that goes. It's a big step for his self-esteem.

He's also told Lilith that as a knight he'll protect her, since she told him she's a queen and he takes knight obligations very seriously.

Future Ideas: The Finn part of Fern is currently repressing the existence of the Grass Demon because of trauma, though it looks like he'll be slowly dealing with it with the help of some of his cr. It also ties into the Team Wolf telepathy mechanic going on for the event.

In general I'm hoping for him to get help with his Grass Demon problem and insecurities, and gradually learn how to cope. It's definitely a slow burn kind of thing though.

In the short term, despite being a kid he'll be refusing to attend school, if anyone wants to bring that up with him.

CR You Want: Any and all! Fern does well with both heroes, whom he tends to fanboy over, and villains, since he's struggling with his own darker tendencies. He attached very easily to adults, especially ones who give off a parental vibe (found family is definitely a running theme in all of Adventure Time). He isn't actually that used to having peers his own age, particularly if they're human, so that's also an option. Or people who are in FEAR, please question why a child has joined the organization or fight with him idk.

I'm also open to both positive and negative cr. Regarding negative cr, Fern is very sensitive about being a plant, from a world that's very obviously different from everyone else's, and he's incredibly insecure, so he's easy to set off.

Day to Day Activities: he always spends his mornings at dearly diner, and now that he's working there as a manager, he can be found there even more often, sometimes helping with service or sticking to the back where he'll help with cooking meals (he'll more regularly be in charge of the coffee to make sure it's made just right). if his work isn't at the diner, it'll be doing some side business with handiwork throughout the town, which is his way of keeping updated with the local information and suspicious activity that are going on.

About This Character: frank is fairly reserved with a lot of secret history that he doesn't tend to share too often here, including his time as a soldier before his family was murdered, sending him on a revenge spree that gave him the name of "the punisher". instead, he tries to keep things as simple as possible, remaining polite and gentlemanly to those he meets (with a dash of sass thrown in if he's encouraged enough) and mostly keeping quiet unless spoken to. he'll only ever raise aggression when prompted, to which he can be incredibly violent and if he has good reason, he will kill someone who's hurt or tried to hurt someone innocent.
Any Warnings: as the punisher, frank's history and characters contains: violence, gore, murder, trauma, ptsd, detailed mentions of child death, various other aspects to military life, family loss, and multiple kills.

Present Life: frank has mostly been keeping himself focused on managing food supply at the diner, making sure there's enough of a stock to keep the kids fed or whoever still happens to drop by, though it isn't entirely much. still, for the moment, his life in deerington is defined by a couple of signature things that most seem to recognize by now.

it should be town-wide knowledge by now that frank is in a very committed relationship with wynonna earp. the l-word has finally been shared between the two of them, and in turn, he's officially moved in with her in her farmhouse. he's also come to as-officially-as-possible adopt mini-wolverine laura and practically considers her to be his daughter at this point — if it weren't for the fact that real dad logan just showed up and that makes his daddy status a little complicated.

in the most important news: the dilf beard has been shaved, meaning he's down to a clean chin again and the occassional scruff with a buzzed but-gradually-growing haircut for the time being. and don't forget his cute af pitbull puppy, bogie.

Future Ideas: he's so happy right now, i think it's high time that he starts suffering a bit again, right? dome time is definitely going to be a crazy event for him (wynonna will almost die and he'll end up having to kill his pal quentin), so if anyone is keen to make him suffer more with some fighting threads or trauma scenarios, i'm game. keep giving him kids to adopt though.

Kurt is unexpected in a whole heap of ways! He looks like a spooky demon but he's really just a charming cuddly goofball who loves to make jokes and have fun. For a while he was studying to become a priest, though that may or may not have been an illustion implanted in his mind (rule #1 of dealing with a Marvel comics character: just.. try not to think about it too hard). He's still holding on to his Catholic faith, but it's more defined by belief in larger forces than being too tied to doctrine.

These days his antics are a little more toned down, but he's still a charmer. He's also dealing with having come back from the dead (long story short: he was killed in battle and went to Heaven, but was kind of miserable there without his friends, then there was a fight with his demon father on a flying ship, blah blah, he was resurrected but may not have a soul now).

He's also got the added Deerington exclusive trauma of not being able to teleport (his main mutant ability) without it literally tearing his fuzzy little body to pieces. Fun times for Kurt!

Any Warnings: As the above section suggests, Kurt's canon can be kind of dark at times. He may reference his own or other deaths, injuries, etc. He's also got the religious angle, but I won't be concentrating too hard on that unless someone wants to explore it.

Present Life: Kurt's fairly new to Deerington so he's still kinda finding his feet and also dealing with being reunited with Logan for the first time since Logan's canon death a few years ago. He's also already ended up embroiled in ridiculous soap opera levels of drama, which is actually pretty standard for an X-Man?

Future Ideas: As I said above, I'd love for Kurt to end up being part of the Deerington community through possibly renovating the church (and/or unlocking the graveyard once I earn enough points). I like the idea of him starting some sort of weekly group for Sleepers to share/talk through their trauma, because God knows they need it.

Otherwise I'm happy to be surprised! I'm super excited to see where this little blue furball ends up.

CR You Want: Anything and everything! Kurt is an extrovert and loves being around people so he'll happily make friends with anyone who stands still long enough. That said, I also enjoy antagonistic/negative CR and being challenged in that way, so don't be afraid to throw that at me as well! I'm definitely interested in exploring Kurt's darker and more mature aspects as well as his charming swashbuckling side.

Employment in Deerington: baker at jane dough bakery and cafe

Day to Day Activities: she's taken up a job as a baker at jane dough, where she tends to conjure up a variety of serbian desserts, while putting in practice to learn more local recipes. she uses this skill to feed all her friends that are apparently useless that getting themselves fed with proper food. she also tends to be practicing her magic with lilith on the side, along with her other local magic friends.

About This Character: wanda deals with a fair amount of mental instablity due to how she's been treated in canon regarding her powers (for more information on her abilities). she was recently captured and arrested by her own teammates before being taken to the "raft", an enhanced imprisonment facility in the middle of the ocean, where she was put in a strait jacket and a power-neutralizing collar. because of this, she most often keeps to herself and remains secretive about her powers, but she tends to be more open and relaxed around those with special abilities of their own. it takes a lot to gain her trust but she can still be kind and understanding, as long as she doesn't feel threatened under the circumstances.

Present Life: wanda had a bit of a rough time some months ago during the infamous "purge" in deerington, where she accidentally hurt a bunch of her friends, but she's been on full recovery mode since then. she's grown better at being open with people and forming friendships, and while she's not using it to a high degree, she's been keeping up with her magical training and has a bit better control of her powers, thanks to some help from lilith who's become a bit of a mentor. plus, she's living with dana polk and owns a rainbow cat that changes colors based on its mood, so she's been good at not being completely on her own.

however, she's still struggling with a bit of past trauma and will occasionally still close herself off because of it. she had a bit of a falling out with sarissa when she accidentally used her mind manipulation on her and forced her to relive some past trauma, so they've been trying to jump back from that, which has only resulted in a lot of tragic realizations that their potential crushes probably won't actually work out. but she also tends to spend a fair amount of time with 10k, who's been keeping her fed and healthy during this food shortage. he's been nice to have around because he doesn't over-complicate things and hasn't judged her on the things she can do, so she's found herself clinging a bit to the safety of that company — which that in itself is probably plenty complicated too.

Future Ideas: wanda's gonna die in the event, gasp! she's going to be on team wolf for this month, but she may end up being switched to team rabbit in september after her death, because her paranoia is going to skyrocket. the idea though is to put her front and center in the dome in trying to save and protect as many people as possible, so if anyone is seeking a bit of a magical hero or someone to fight alongside, she's your girl.

CR You Want: those with powers for her to relate to, supportive friendships, familial relationships (especially sibling-like characters), anyone interested in magic, people to train with, etc.

CR You Don't Want: while some slight conflict is alright, i'd like to avoid anything negative that's traumatizing or long-lasting.
