About This Character: Mami is a magical girl who is doing a pretty poor job of keeping her secret. She’s the leader of her tiny gang of girls, and acts as everyone’s big sister whether or not they want it. She’s pretty strong headed but kind. Unless she doesn’t like you….
Any Warnings: I have a CW/Opt-out available! I really recommend checking it out before threading with Mami!

Present Life: She is not doing super hot this month unfortunately because of the event. She’s over-pushing herself and corrupting her soul pretty badly. You can tag her top level if you want to meet/interact with her before shit really hits the thread!
Future Ideas: At the end of the month/start of next month, she’ll be turning into her witch form Candeloro. There’ll be an open log for that along with Sora, who will be using Candeloro to trap people in her labyrinth! She’s not going to remember any CR in this state, but she pretty much considers everyone a friend and will try to keep them “safe” in her labyrinth. There’s a chance she’ll be getting a castmate next month, who will be the one to kill her, but if that doesn’t end up happening I’ll uuuuh need help taking care of her LOL.
After witch stuff… she’ll be not okay for awhile. So we can talk about that if it interests you!

Day to Day Activities: Shitposting at her friends, trying to get a handle on her magic, and exploring the town. Lup loves to meet people and would probably end up dropping in at every shop just to peek around and chat up the shop workers.

About This Character: Lup is Taako's identical twin sister and is just as equally big a disaster as he is. She loves cooking, high drama, and setting as much shit as she can on fire. She's an evocation specialist with a flare for fire magic and also works as a reaper for the Raven Queen, meaning she can summon her scythe, rip portals out of nowhere, and turn into a spooky skeleton whenever she chooses. She's a social butterfly and loves nothing more than to fill every room she can with her big personality, but can also come off as rude and abrasive with her absolute honesty. She's also a trans woman and will kick ass if she comes across any anti-trans rhetoric. Because she's from a podcast medium, icons don't always line up, but for visuals, she's about 6 feet tall with dark brown skin and long whiteish blonde hair with freckles all over. For reference, she's taken from post-canon, but also has two years of CRAU from Hadriel added to her timeline.
Any Warnings: Lup's everything is very entwined with death. For a couple of decades, she existed as a lich, but now she works as a bounty hunter for the goddess of death of her world. So sometimes she turns into a skeleton, let me know if you aren't down with that!

Present Life: Lup is still very tied up with her family and trying to find her way back home. She hasn't given up on getting the fuck out of Deerington yet, so a lot of her current cr is around meeting people with similar goals.
Future Ideas: I'm still pretty shakily getting my feet wet in this game, there's just a lot to take in and settle with. The only future plan I have for Lup is I'd love to start a women's roller derby league at the roller rink in the future.

About This Character: Tiny 80's child gets kidnapped to another dimension, possessed by monster from other dimension, does battle with said monster, etc etc. It's Fine.
Any Warnings: Parental abuse (emotional/verbal mostly, thanks Dad), child abduction/endangerment, scary monster shit, demon possession, exorcism, PTSD from all of the above. IT'S FINE.

Present Life: well he just died in-game cause the previous PTSD stuff wasnt enough, so he's dealing with that. Also grappling with being a deeply closeted 80's kid going through puberty so that's ALSO FUN. He's getting closer to people in Deerington, letting his guard down, opening up and wanting to become stronger so he can protect them.
Future Ideas: Love to play out Will coming to accept his sexuality ofc, because hes got so many good role models now. Also want to explore him becoming more of a fighter/able to defend himself, because that's a major source of guilt/self-consciousness rn

Day to Day Activities: when the town isn't a bloodborne hellscape, buzz had been in the middle of exploring and grabbing things that looked useful. when he came in there was a food shortage as well, so... honestly he doesn't have a solid day to day routine, so much as he's just been trying to deal with the problems as they come up. he is slightly more "comfortable" with being seen moving now, seeing as several times in october he didn't really have a choice and actively chose to drop the masquerade in the name of not being broken. it was a... fun time. as with all the toys, he's 100% more likely to drop everything he's doing and go out his way to help your character if they're a young child. it's in his toy dna. tna.

About This Character: buzz is a tiny plastic space ranger toy who initially believed he was the real deal, realised he wasn't after he saw a commercial for himself and learned about capitalism, had a massive existential crisis, accepted his new state of being then went on several adventures with his new toyfam. this included: the existential nightmare of their kid growing up, then the gang dealt with a totalitarian regime, fell into an incinerator one time and also got a new kid. once he got his head out the space-clouds he's a pretty level headed and only occasionally weird guy who specialises in toy parkour and also hilariously, martial arts.

his canon point is from the end of the 4th movie but before the one-year time skip in the prologue, so he's KIND OF SAD ABOUT A RAGDOLL COWBOY he thought they were saying goodbye to for the foreseeable future, so he's... you know. not thinking about it. go team repression!

About This Character: well, first off, he is a siphoner witch-vampire hybrid. also a sociopath. he is very energetic, friendly and upbeat, and he is extremely talkative. like, boy talks a lot. he is prone to sarcasm and he can be pretty annoying, but he means well. or at least he is trying to mean well. right now, he is on best behavior, but it doesn't mean he won't hesitate to kill someone if threatened. he has self-esteem issues up the wazoo and a deep-seated desire to be accepted and liked by other witches. he is also a little weird about touching others, especially magic users.
Any Warnings: he has a colorful history of (childhood) abuse, torture, murder, and violence.

Present Life: well, his two bffs in this small town are going to find out he's a vampire this month, so that's... something to be dealt with. damon is also here!! so, that's another thing to deal with. basically, it's a lot of interpersonal relationship shit.
Future Ideas: probably have him eventually find one or two people willing to be his blood supply because that will make life easier. definitely want him to siphon from someone down the line. i also want him to ONE DAY turn his emotions back on. someone should convince him to get a job too.

About This Character: He's a hero and tries to leave the people and the place in better shape than it's found in - is the general Doctor. As well as being an alien of many sciences and math. His people invented time travel.

This particular face is as humanely emotional as The Doctor can be and therefore can run super happy or super cold. As well as being the best listening therapy ear of all his faces. This face also takes loses - not so well and will be his undoing in the end.

Ten also does not approve ICly of guns or drugs (outside of alcohol) and does sort of hover around those with guns in hopes that being a better influence will get them to change their mind.

As well as, trying to help those that are psychopaths to be better people gestures at The Master

Day to Day Activities: He's a busy guy. Mornings at the restaurant before opening are for working out and giving some cooking lessons. Days are spent at B&B's, or out doing food delivery/check in visits. After dinner service and clean up/close down, he can be found any number of places around town, or maybe just sleeping at home.

Handwaved CR: All players are welcome to handwave meeting Blake, or seeing him anywhere around town during his off hours. You may also handwave characters visiting, getting takeout at, or delivery from B&B's. Plus, pretty much anything else within reason. If you feel more comfortable talking through it, I'm glad to do so!

About This Character: Blake is CRAU. Anyone is welcome to opt-out of this part of his character! More information can be found here. He's been doing the jamjar multiverse thing for a couple years now, so it's all old hat for him. Blake's a busy body and has become less and less involved with the inclusion of a lot of people with super powers hanging around. He only managed about six months of training to become the Batman, so he's much less qualified than most (and knows it). He's mostly been working on himself and trying to make the most of Deerington (which apparently means retirement). It's a real waste, tbh, but he's been through a lot and thinks he deserves the break. People are welcome to convince him otherwise.
Any Warnings: Mostly murder and CRAU stuff. Also, he's a nag.

Present Life: In July he opened a restaurant with Bruce Banner to help with the fact that Dearly Diner doesn't offer anything edible that isn't on the breakfast menu. John does occasionally get involved in plots and city-wide issues, but for the most part tends to play a support role (including nagging people who need reminders to take care of themselves). Relationship wise, he is ALWAYS TROLLING, but truth be told, has been in a pretty solid domestic partnership with Bruce Banner (his not-so-obvious-but-totally-obvious-'guy pal'). They're not PDA types, but people are welcome to assume what they like since these two have been essentially living together for months and are always taking care of each other. Also, Arthur looks exactly like Blake and he thinks of him as a brother from another mother, so don't be surprised to see him acting like they're related.... Add in some CRAU shenanigans with the return of his bestie4lyfe, Dean Winchester (hello, massive and long-burning torch), plus a long-running bff-ness with Jean-Paul Beaubier (hashtag poutine pals), not to mention the rest of the adoptees, and you've got a busy boy. Honestly, he's probably falling apart and doesn't realize it yet, so yeah.
Future Ideas: Still looking for that sweet, sweet negative CR. Blake's such a likable guy, it would be nice to find someone who hates him. :3 That being said, I love drama and Blake loves gossip, so if any of those appeal, hit me up.

CR You Want: Positive CR, negative CR, friends (with benefits willing to navigate that he has a pretty dedicated emotional and physical relationship with Banner but is not technically off the market), kids who need to be mothered, friends that need to be mothered, etc. Sparring partners, baseball pals, trivia friends, GOSSIPERS, etc. Literally SO MUCH stuff, guys. Day to Day Activities: Helping Newt take care of his beasts, buying groceries, going to coffee shops and bars. Just walking around town and maybe talking to some people. Poking at the Fluid because muggle technology sure is strange.

About This Character: Theseus is the older brother of Newt Scamander, but he's very different in personality. He's usually very outgoing and charismatic, easy in nature and enjoys talking with people. While being an Auror back home is rough, he's certainly proud of his job and wants to do what's right. He's also a relatively powerful wizard and a war hero of World War 1, so he's definitely used to fighting and death. He just. Tries not to burden others with his problems. That being said, he's not afraid to show his worry for others.

I tend to write him as being friendly to muggles and curious about muggle technology and culture, something that stemmed from him hanging around soldiers during the war.

Any Warnings: The biggest thing that might be talked about are his war experiences.

Present Life: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR FANTASTIC BEASTS 2 but Theseus is actually dealing with the death of his fiance. He hasn't talked about it at all and so much has happened in Deerington that Theseus really hasn't had the time to sit down and just let himself deal with that grief. It's probably festering in him, but he's just so focused on protecting Newt and other people here that he just ignores it overall. One day that'll change, but it's the main reason why I'm not jumping in any ship with Theseus anytime soon.

Oh and also dealing with the fact that he couldn't stop his brother from getting killed in Deerington. And the fact that Newt's lost all memories of him. He's. Handling That.

Future Ideas: Related to the thing above, but Theseus accepting and sort of moving on after Leta's death. Other than that, just him making more friends and dealing with a situation where he's not famous. It's been a long time for him and it's nice in a lot of ways!

...But also making Theseus dealing with horrible things in game because that's always a good time.

CR You Want: More friends!! Whether it be magical or non-magic, he likes making friends. Also kids to worry about! Other soldiers that's been through hell. Fellow siblings that worry a lot about their brother/sister.

But also potential people that he might bump heads against. I'm up for negative CR!

About This Character: He's generally a sweet boy who wants nothing more than to help his friends. But he does have some baggage with him in terms of getting over a mentor trying to kill him once upon a time and trying to figure out exactly who he is. Having memory issues is no fun.
Any Warnings: Can't think of anything at the moment.

Present Life: Ventus is. Uh. Not doing well. He might have some issues that has been growing for a few months now and it's only gotten worse with this event. However, as of October 16th, Ventus has become a seraph angel, which means that he has six pretty wings that has the power to burn someone up with the intensity of the sun and his hair practically glows almost like a halo. Other than that, he might be sacrificing his heart as payment for cures which might just hurt him more in the long run.

Future Ideas: One idea I particularly have for him is finding a stable support section for him. As I've mentioned before, he's not doing well and when he's become emotionally compromised, he tends to do something stupid. Really stupid. I do want to toss him more at people though and reach out to people who might know more angels and help him deal with that. I also just...want him...to be happy. Someone make him happy. Otherwise, I'm open to plans since I got nothing else planned.

About This Character: A WW2 vet who spent many decades as a brainwashed assassin, he's finally starting to heal and find himself again, but he's got a lot of darkness in his past. He's generally a pretty kind and friendly guy on the outside, though. His canon point is mid-IW before the fighting starts.
Any Warnings: PTSD, brainwashing, possible disassociation, mentions of wartime violence

Present Life: He's trying to help everyone who wants to learn to keep themselves safe through FEAR. People he's most likely to hang around are Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson and Skye (who he's definitely not dating). He also likes to look after a lot of the kids and teenagers around town when he can. If there's an opening for a big brother, he wants to fill it. Also he's about to become a werewolf, so that will be a whole thing.
Future Ideas: He's questioning his leadership and how safe he is to be around right now, so I want to work through some of that, as well as some of his more unresolved feelings about a lot of what he's experienced. Becoming a werewolf isn't going to help those worries and he may be moving towards a career change soon.

He was born on the Iron Islands and taken North as a political prisoner at a young age thanks to dear old dad making some Choices. He’s a walking existential crisis because of this. Didn’t fit in with the Northmen, doesn’t fit in with the iron born. Who am I? 24601. He’s all sorts of fucked up and makes all sorts of bad choices. Ask him about them sometime. He’s not a particularly nice person. He smiles and laughs and makes cruel jokes to mask his pain and self-doubt and fear, and he doesn’t let anyone get very close.

About This Character: Angus McDonald is the greatest detective in the world! His world, anyway. No, seriously, he used to investigate crimes and solve murders for a living before joining a secret society on the moon, it was a whole thing. More importantly though, he's a tiny nerd who is extremely earnest and polite, and very easy to dunk on, although he can be a sarcastic little shit when he needs to be. Angus likes solving puzzles and mysteries, studying magic, reading, and pro wrestling, and he kind of sucks at being an actual kid, since he's been working for a living and providing for himself for a few years. Basically, picture a puppy, put the puppy in nerdy glasses and a sweatervest, and that's Angus.
Any Warnings: His dad was kind of shitty and neglectful, but he isn't likely to come up in conversations very often. Ango also used to investigate murders, and can be pretty blase about discussing things like bloodsplatter and dead bodies!

About This Character: Matthew Murdock, attorney by day, vigilante by night. "Daredevil." Highly skilled in acrobatics and hand to hand combat. Super senses. Devout Catholic. "Bleeding heart." Insists on sticking up for the little guy. Once requested body armor that looks like a leather devil costume.

At nine years old Matt was blinded by a chemical spill accident but in turn his other senses were enhanced beyond regular human ability. Using his super senses as a sort of radar, Matt observes the world around him in a unique way that can reveal things hidden behind walls, human emotions and lies, and conversations in other buildings.

However, she's also from The Adventure Zone, where Fantasy Costco is canon, so she can be a little ridiculous too. She's a CRAU from Hadriel, and came directly from there to Deerington with the rest of her cast when the game closed.

About This Character: The most hotheaded of his brothers, and perhaps because of that, arguably the most emotional. He was trained in the ways of the ninja by his adoptive father, Master Splinter. He loves a good fight and if the option is there then it's his first choice, and while he can be abrasive he's still willing to look out for others. While he won't admit it, he's lonely being apart from his family, which might make him overprotective of the friends he does make in this place.

Present Life: The place has been wearing on Raph. He's no stranger to dealing with weird and scary and supernatural things, but with no real promise of an end to any of it, he's been wound tight. That's kind of lent to his whole becoming a vampire towards the end of this month, although that stint might not last long.
