[Out of what looks like nowhere, there is a woman with a huge sword and is hacking against the side of the maggoty monstrosity. It's probably one of the more surreal things Rikku has ever seen in her entire life, and it is enough to snap her out of her screaming funk. Her voice cuts off midway through her third screech, and she pushes herself away from the wall.
She doesn't know whether or not she hopes this woman is talking about roasting the maggot. Ew, either way.]
Uh, right, right, okay running.
[And she actually dashes a few steps away before--]
Frick nuggets!
[Then she's darting back, drawing back her leg to kick the giant maggot in its sticky side and trying not to think about how stupid this is. She dodges out of the way of the creature's wild wiggling, kicking it again.]
Hey, slime tube! Why don'tcha pick on someone three times your size?!
[Because maybe something that big would be able to actually deal with it. As for Rikku, as she yells G-rated obscenities at the worm, she's waving her arms and making shooing motions, trying to get the sword woman to also run with her.]
