[ Something flickers across his face. In stasis? He thought his father destroyed the royal line along with Altea. How did she escape? Was she off-planet or smuggled out? Either way, it confirms what Lotor had only vaguely imagined when he first discovered his mother's people. Some had survived the carnage of his father.

But the Paladins? He never imagined their involvement. He thought the lions of Voltron were lost like Altea. Like it's people. To hear they were reassembled, it's almost like a fairytale. His father would never allow it, let alone herald the one he lay blame for the destruction of Daibazaal.

The callback of his planet is a sobering thought and Lotor reels in his emotions, regarding the young Altean in a different light. His father did destroy her planet and people. Lotor has had a lifetime to learn that such an offense was never forgiven. He's been at the end of a sword seeking revenge against his father and recalling her initial reaction to him, he imagines her feelings toward him are not dissimilar. ]

You speak of events I have no recollection of in the past or present. Tell me, Princess. [ He sheathes his sword. ] Are we friends or foes?
