If they really wanted to compare lists of what the opposite faction had done to them then it was going to be a long night. And also required several strong drinks. Not enough time had passed to even start considering total forgiveness for everything the Horde had done to him and his people, but a change in mindset at least was allowing Varian try to sooth the terrors of the past. Those wounds were beginning to scar, and he was so very tired of war.

It also took a lot of restraint to not make a jab at the offered weapon, to taunt Varok that he was passing it to Varian the wrong way, or to dismiss it with a snide comment, but he also understands the importance behind being offered it. Reaching for the weapon, Varian turned it in his hand to get the feel of it. It was little more than a dagger, but any weapon would be useful in this situation.

"You take half, I take half?"
