[Ten puts a finger to mouth and makes a loudish shush sound and continues to listen. It's quiet. Too quiet. Ten slowly stands up and presses an ear against the wall and listens and keeping a finger to his lips towards the stranger.

He doesn't like this. How quiet it's gotten and how close they are to the door, as The Doctor peeks just beyond the wall. Taking out a yo-yo from his trench coat pocket, bends down and tosses that down the staircase. The yo-yo rolls down the staircase to around the front door and under a table. Not too long, after is the sound of claws and breathing. The Doctor continues to keep his finger to his lips and looking at the stranger.

There's a big whiff from the Krampus, standing in spot and if Beck is peeking just beyond the wall with The Doctor may be caught a moment of what the creature looks like - least until The Doctor pulls himself and Beck, back behind the wall and listens. Listens to the creature deciding where to go next - which thankfully for both of them at the moment. Is down the other way still on the first floor.
