( the last time he'd seen his brother was when he'd told him about that werewolf bite. sort of saying his goodbye in a way. hoping that stefan would just let him go. it's not exactly a surprise to see him in deerington. just weeks ago a bunch of people in town had been getting visitations from those they knew back home. except of course they were all zombie-like and messed up. so damon's taking a good look at stefan and he seems normal-ish. healthy. there's good color to his skin even. he reaches out to pinch him on the cheek -- hard -- before letting out a smirk. )
