Her curious reply was almost enough to make him hope that maybe she was one of the people who weren't supposed to be here in the first place, that maybe she remembered her real life. And a normal second class passenger wouldn't tend to talk to someone dressed like a first class passenger, even if his shoes were pretending to be a bow tie and not actually on his feet.

If she had no Earthly clue why a massive chunk of ice in the middle of the Atlantic would worry a passenger on a not-so-Unsinkable cruise ship, then the less time wasted trying to explain what was happening, the better. He'd already tried that more then once before, and he knew how much good it would do.
