After all, the girl'd said it twice, so it was just opening up for a stupid joke like that, at least in Larxene's mind. She was barking a laugh out as she said it, like it was the funniest thing in the world, though she really didn't feel much more than a distant intellectual amusement.

That was weird, that feeling of ... well, nothing, really. She didn't feel much, certainly not as much as the folks around her. Idly, she wondered why before focusing on Ariadne again. Right. She as chatting with the stranger jumping out of the window.
