[ --lets out the most startled yelp that a fully grown, six-foot-tall man can. But, hey, it snaps him awake, gets his conscious mind and his unconscious actions back in sync together. ]

[ Jeff blinks, as if he's just coming to, annnnd... realizes he's being stared down by a woman who's about a full foot shorter than him-- which is pretty impressive, but also a really bad look on his part.
