She's far more used to being the giver of that sort of tone rather than on the receiving end. Chloe's trying her damnedest to make this less weird by figuring out how to get her feet to move in the opposite direction, to make herself walk away rather than hover around. It doesn't seem to be working though and she's slowly resigning herself to being awkwardly stuck here.
