if he does flinch away from it she'll do much subtler caring, little checking on him but keep it more on the downlo to now freak him out so much. which will be odd when paimon just leans into it and she gets so confused

Employment in Deerington: No job yet, but he's starting a GSA. He should probably also get a real job.
Residence in Deerington: 69 Princess Dr, because I'm hilarious
Day to Day Activities: He goes on regular runs, preps resources for queer people in the town, and reads up on Deerington history and lore.

About This Character: He is the son of the first woman elected president of the United States, a wannabe politician/lawyer himself, and a bisexual disaster who had a sex scandal with a European prince. (Who is his boyfriend. It was only a sex scandal because it was secret and magazines got involved.) He's a talkative overachiever who's far too aware of how attractive he is and, while he doesn't have zero shame, he hides what shame he does have under a thick layer of charm.

Any Warnings: He's from a very wholesome romance novel besides politics and references to homophobia and racism, there's not much to warn about. But if there is something you'd like me to avoid, you can let me know on his permissions post.

Present Life: The big thing is his GSA which he's throwing himself into whole heartedly.

Future Ideas: Get this boy a job!! He needs something to keep him busy he's going to go nuts.

CR You Want: PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING. Friends are especially great, as well as people he can antagonize.

Employment in Deerington: Nowhere yet, he is brand new!
Residence in Deerington: 705 David Cliff Apartments (possibly that number, though if it is not available somewhere else in those apartments lmao)
Day to Day Activities: Getting to know people, the city, putting his nose where it doesn't belong, generally getting under your skin in one way or another.

About This Character: Jean-Claude is a fairly powerful vampire who has just come off of a pretty masterful rise into becoming in charge of all vampires of London in his previous game (undergrounds). He is in general pretty decent for a vampire, but he is still a vampire, and an old one at that, and he has an irritating way of twisting nearly everything to get exactly what he wants or needs out of it, and if that includes your friendship then so be it. How do you think he has survived this long? It certainly was not by playing nice.
Any Warnings: Unfortunately there are many things in JC's past that are potentially troublesome, including: his wife and child died in childbirth (he will probably never talk about this but fyi), he is a vampire and therefore must drink blood to survive, his maker has a very unhealthy obsession with beautiful people (IE. him), he has a nontraditional romance that ends in tragedy when his lovers are captured and tortured for witchcraft, his one lover (the vampire one) survives this and blames him for this torture and the others' death and JC unhealthily blames himself too, JC was tortured himself for daring to leave his maker's nest, JC owns a strip club (male dancers mostly), he killed the vamp that was in charge in order to take his place by beheading him in front of a live audience, and he himself is a very sexual person by nature and will openly go for both male and female characters both.

Present Life: JC is brand new in game, so new that I am late to this meme even. As I said he has come here straight from undergrounds which was another game where he was Duke of Central London, which essentially made him master of the city in terms other people might understand. He was head vampire in charge of all the other vampires and he gained this position by leading a claim for territory that spanned a good six months and culminated in the beheading of his predecessor. Then he ran for a position in government which he lost and he fell into something of a funk energy-wise, and somehow fell asleep and wound up here. He's still trying to work this whole place out.
Future Ideas: I am up for throwing JC at absolutely anything I know that sounds vague but it is true. He does need a job eventually. I don't suppose there are any night clubs...

CR You Want: This is also cheap but I want literally all the CR. People who are interested in CR with vampires. People who hate vampires. People who would flirt with him bc he is the biggest flirt. People who would roll their eyes at him. ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MORE.
CR You Don't Want: I don't know that there's anything I don't want necessarily, though I'm not really into killing him right off the bat I guess haha, and he's not the sort of character to jump into a romance without a lot of work first though

Sooo excited to see my fav frenchy vamp in a game hooray!! As I said, I WANT ALL MY CHARACTERS ON THIS UNDEAD MAN!!

I've got Tachome Dhaume whose canon has a very odd twist in their vampire lore. They are actually hella average looking and not attractive, but you always see them teaming with trim because of their magnetic vampire powers. So, Tachome and his platonic life partner friend Vyng would be HELLA suspicious of him. He's so good-looking!! It must mean his magnetic powers are working on them OH FFUUUUCK!

Tuck and Vyng are eventually opening up a gay/drag bar with performances, so JC is free to come enjoy the crazy... or probably better yet help them actually run it properly because they have no clue wtf they are doing. They really can't be trusted with money :/


Bucky is down to eye-roll and talk French with him. And if he ever needs a human pestering him about the most asinine things.

Aaand last but not least is Peter. He's a 54 yo Washington flannel-wearing lumberjack man who works as a wildlife officer. He is woefully normal and does not believe in vampires or anything supernatural, because that's just NOT HOW THE WORLD WORKS.

Character Name: Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper
Age: 33
Employment in Deerington: Theater (sound technician)
Residence in Deerington: 106 Raccoon Alley in Brahms
Day to Day Activities: He spends a lot of time browsing music stores and listening to music. When he's not doing that, he'll often play with his rats or go out and acquire more. Other times he enjoys cooking or tinkering with tech. He often goes for long walks in the park to keep in shape. He's usually the type to go out and volunteer to help the less fortunate, though there might not be opportunities for him to do that in Deerington.

About This Character: Hartley is a tech genius with a particular obsession with sound, and has developed technology that allows him to hypnotize people and rats as well as shatter objects using his flute. Having been born wealthy, but having never fit in or understood the need for the excess and social status that those around him cared about, then suddenly ending up on his own, he doesn't think much of the wealthy or their way of doing things, and tends to feel that money is wasted on the rich. He can tolerate some who use their status to help others, but overall they just tend to annoy him.

He does, however, love working on his tech, and enjoys focusing on a project. He hates being interrupted while he's working, and can get snippy when someone just barges in. He's a bit more laid back when he's not busy, however, and can be relatively friendly and helpful. Green is his favorite color.

Any Warnings: His parents reacted badly when he came out to them, and he ended up leaving in a hurry to get away from that situation. His parents were also later murdered and he was framed.

Present Life: Back home his parents were recently murdered, he was framed for it, and he's only recently been cleared and had Wally help him remember what was and wasn't real, due to the fact that the Mirror Master, after murdering Hartley's parents, then messed with Hartley's memories so he wouldn't be sure whether he actually did it or not. Now that he's in Deerington, he's trying not to think about that too much (though it keeps creeping into his thoughts regardless), and now he's just trying to settle in and cope with the fact that he's stuck in a place where 8 ton murder bears are a thing.

Future Ideas: Right now I just want him to meet people, get to know them, maybe talk about what he's been going through and get some help coping with it, while at the same time Deerington is exploiting those same things and making them worse.

Yes and yes. Alice is Ultimate Scientist this month for extra nerdiness, and there's still some "ah, the sister of one of my first friends in Deerington, who is now gone" sadness going on with Wynonna, because history shows Alice handles grief and loss in very healthy ways. (Read: no she doesn't.)

For event-flavored things, Alice has a shoulder angel/devil set that could be visible? Or if Wynonna has a guilt shadow, they can talk it out. Alice has dealt a little with guilt in game recently, so she can help.

Gasps. The Ultimate Scientist can find out about Dana's werewolfness. Assuming Dana hasn't told her, either of which I'm good with. I'm thinking we can find things to do :>

Day to Day Activities: Reading and researching and interviewing anyone who will sit still long enough

About This Character: A journalist in a world full of zombies, but like, zombies have been around for a while, she's used to them. Super intense, obsessed with the truth. Wears sunglasses constantly.
Any Warnings: Well, usual zombie stuff. Also her parents were emotionally abusive and she and her adopted brother are super codependent and romantically involved. She's unlikely to bring it up, but it sometimes does come up either in brackets or in events where such things might be shared. Permissions here!

Present Life: She's brand new, so still figuring stuff out. But she's reporting on the trials and how bullshit they are. Forces that should be objective failing at it pisses her the hell off.

Future Ideas: MORE JOURNALISM. I'd really like to get her involved in the researching and mystery solving stuff.

YEAH Paimon predates Christianity too, he's old af, these two ancient beings. His whole deal is really ambiguous / malleable, and he's easily influenced into "good" or "bad" depending on whom he's around. So he could absolutely use her influence in his life! Just being a very well-behaved lost demon king around her... has a shitfit every once in awhile and she just scolds him. Be polite

But yesss I'm here for this CR and all the Mrs. S threads tbh. She's already a delight and I adore her
