There once was a man who considered himself a noble hero. But he was also in love, and he determined to do all he could to protect his beloved. One day he learned that a man was going to kill his love.

The so-called hero confronted the killer. He could have stopped this killer, but instead he asked for the man to spare the girl. In exchange, the "hero" allowed the villain to go free and kill so many more people.

So much suffering and death, all for a single life.
