Even rendered completely blind, Maul can still sense the Force, and that includes the Force signatures of anyone who might end up in Deerington. Not that he's had anyone Force-sensitive arrive here in all the months he's been in this town. But that's about to change. He can sense the presence of....someone. Not someone he has seen in a long time, but remembered all the same.
A few minutes after Asajj makes her escape from the room, there's another Dark Side user that approaches her. Maul looks like he's been put through the wringer and then some, with several dramatic physical changes. His teeth and nails have been lengthened into fangs and claws, there's a tail and wings made out of bones running from his back, and most telling of all, his Sith yellow eyes are gone, replaced by a black blindfold to spare anyone the grisly sight of his empty eye sockets.
"So. This place finally brought someone else from the galaxy," he observes. This close up, her presence in the Force feels far more familiar. One hand rests on the hilt of his saberstaff, just in case Asajj decides to turn this into a fight.
