Tim lets himself be bullied by the kid, though he's pretty sure he does not want whatever that creepy dark thing is to be behind them if the unnerving, drop-gut worry is anything to go by. Maybe if he doesn't look over his shoulder at it he can just ignore that it exists?

He's been very good at ignoring things existing for a long time, and it just keeps getting harder the longer things go on. Jon would be having a field day, he's sure, between some creepy dark thing and some kid asking can you see it in that worried, terrified tone that's clearly trying not to be terrified in the first place.

Tim doesn't want to think about that right now.
