Tim nods, just taking it on. The Leitner's are curious to him, intriguing, interesting in the same way that Smirke's architecture is, except he's never been foolish enough to pick through any of the ones they have in Artefact Storage. Not before they really got into any of the statements, and especially not after they started researching some of the gruesome ones.

From Jon's face, there's more there, but Tim doesn't pry about it. He'll get the answers as they come, even if they come in bits and pieces. He's not here for one of Jon's statements, after all.

But then--he's in the middle of a sip, and he chokes for a second, startled, sets his cup down. He just stares for a second. That isn't a funny joke, Jon.
