[Because, unlike Kurogane's Syaoran, this one was a bit more picky about things-- considering only close family (and Sakura) called him by his given name, it was more or less a matter of intimacy. It was common enough back home that he didn't have to make the distinction, but people seemed a lot more familiar here than he was used to...]
