JUNE 2018 GAME EVENT 3 PLOTTING POST

Welcome to the newest event! This is an exciting time and the event provides several chance encounters for your characters. Remember, everyone, all things in this game has consequences so don't think this will be the last you hear of this event.

Or maybe it will be. What do we know?

If you would like to plot or plan for any encounters, feel free to use the form below and post around! Have fun with this event. Use it to explore whatever you like of the town or make IC connections. Enjoy!

Remember: This month does require 20 points of your overall AC to be horror-centric! Horror-centric means that your character must, in some way, be impacted by something horror in the game's setting. It does not need to be through the month's plot. They cannot just be talking about something scary, but actually engaging with one of the many horror elements within the game, whether that's exploring a creepy part of the forest, encountering a monster, boarding up windows against a monster attack, facing psychological horror, etc. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask.

Character Name: Chloe Price
CR Wanted: Any but specifically I'd love for Chloe to get some negative CR and people who can help her out to stop being a magnet for death like she tends to be.
CR Not Wanted: None???
Ideas for obtaining horror points: Chloe's going to definitely find the body of a Waste with her name on it, but she will also want to take down the first body of any child she sees hanging no matter whose name is on it because this would just really fucking upset her. If someone wants her to take down the body that has their name on it and see it happen and the body turn to dust, that would be cool.

Also with relation to the deer, Chloe's going to working her ass off to save any, and I'd love for her to be stupid and try and kill one of Those Things - if someone wants to save her ass that would be great, but I'm also not opposed to letting one of them actually severely hurt her either, because of said Death Magnet bullshit. Preferably if she gets really injured, I'd like it to be with someone who could help heal her since I'm not itching to give her her first death just yet, but I'm not super opposed to it either if people wanna go that route.
Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: Chloe's going to bury at least one deer. These creatures make her think of Max too much for her to not. She will save as many as she can, but I'd like her to mourn at least one of them, so any help getting it away from the bullshit crazy hunters are welcome.

I'd also like her to do some exploration of the Mountain, but I don't think she'll get all the way up, especially if she's injured in the hunt event, and I think I might wait or her getting more exploring in until after the event.

Character Name: Angela Ziegler
CR Wanted: Anything and everything. I'd love for her to keep an eye on some of the younger people dealing with the setting.
CR Not Wanted: None that I can think of.
Ideas for obtaining horror points: Angela likes living bodies, she did figure out how to resurrect people after all. So I'd love to do some stuff with how much it would scare her to see so many bodies hanging from the trees. So if anyone would want to help her pull down the bodies?
Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: Just to help as many people as she can. I'm a new player still and I want to get to know other people and characters, so I am flexible and open to ideas.

Character Name: Moira O'Deorain
CR Wanted: All of it! Moira is totally new, but she's best suited for negative CR, since she's a morally gray chaotic neutral type of character. She isn't impossible to make friends with though if you don't mind that she has some really fucked up views on right and wrong sometimes.
CR Not Wanted: Not really interested in romance for her right now so jot that down, I guess. I don't have any other stipulations though.
Ideas for obtaining horror points: Moira is unaware that her healing abilities have been altered so that she actually has to give part of her own life force up in order to use them, so if someone would like to help her find out via some brutal injuries, that would be fun. She's also looking to find out how to study death here in Deerington, so if anyone wanted their character to die from said injuries because she figures this out and doesn't give a shit enough about them to save them after, I mean. I'm not gonna say no.

The hanging bodies will also be something that interests her and she will be exploring the Mountain, so I'm down for some dangerous creature shit up that way.
Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: She's gonna find the lab and she's gonna want to live in it, she won't care what creepy shit she finds there it's a proper lab just let her science in peace.

Character Name: Rei Kurosawa

CR Wanted: Any and all is good! Continuing friendships, encouraging trouble, helping others out of trouble, people mourning together, fighting and rescuing one another, explore buddies...the list goes on!

CR Not Wanted: Can't think of any!

Ideas for obtaining horror points: Yeah she's def going to do some fighting of the deer torsos and do some climbing into the unmasked world and on the lab. If you want to get a chomp or two on Rei due to cannibalistic urges, that works!

Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: thinking of for sure doing some rescues and some mourning, both for the wastes and for the deer. And too I'm thinking of having Rei doing some sleep walking in part due to her power warping.

But if we want to figure out ways to relax as well that works! And I'm hoping to have her take more photographs to document everything that's going on, and save it for a later time :>

Character Name: Elena Gilbert

CR Wanted: I'd love to strength the CR Elena already has in game, getting her to feel close to the people she's met and really forge strong connections. Also meeting new people who she can develop those close bonds with. People she can count on, found family, someone who can make her feel like she has a reason to get up every morning. Anyone have problems with vampires? She's now out of the coffin and openly telling people what she is. Expect to see some vampire rage during this event.
CR Not Wanted: None, gimme it all.

Ideas for obtaining horror points:
- Fighting the monsters trying to kill the deer. Elena has super strength and will not hesitate to defend the deer, even if it ends in a gory mess and injury to herself. (Anyone want a failed attempt at Elena healing someone with her blood?)
- If anyone has other ideas that a Vampire would be useful for, I'm definitely interested in hearing them!

Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event:
- For Elena to team up with someone to climb the stairs and get stuck in a cabin with them.
- For someone to get Elena talking about how she's Not Okay and finally telling someone about her CRAU experiences of being part of a telepathic hivemind. (Surprise, she still has an alien in her head.)

Character Name: Majima Gorō
CR Wanted: Exploration, FIGHTS, saving deer, people who would be similarly upset about the deaths of the Wastes. Majima's pretty new to the game so I'm focusing on building up his CR for now
CR Not Wanted: Not looking to kill him at least for the first month
Ideas for obtaining horror points:
-While Majima has seen his share of dead bodies, they are by and large not civilian bodies, and when he finds the body of the Waste with his name on it, the conclusion that he'll draw is that it's some kind of retaliation or threat. Needless to say, he won't react well and he'll probably be confronting some townspeople over it. I think it'd be neat to have a character who's mostly seen him keep his cool (which he does ~90-95% of the time) run into him in this state, he hates this

-Saving deer, OFC -- open to simply helping the deer get away, but he'll absolutely be going toe-to-hoof with the weird monster centaurs because he'll have zero chill about any of this. Characters who would be similarly aggressive as hell would be very welcome!

-Someone to get lost in the blizzard with/general exploration/fighting a wendigo because why not, Majima will fight the sun

Character Name: Will Byers
CR Wanted: Exploration! Gonna save the deer! He's like 5 feet tall, maximum, but he's going to SAVE THE DEER, DAMN IT. Even if he can't physically fight, he can distract and yell and...idk, throw rocks? He's also going to be super freaked out about finding the Waste with his name on it tbh.
CR Not Wanted: Not looking to have him die rn.
Ideas for obtaining horror points: ~Sweet good boy Will definitely has a horrifying, angry, intense side, and even though it only comes out under extreme stress/possession, I'd like to delve deeper into this and have him lash out against the monsters. It'd be cool to have someone who's used to him being a shy, quiet kiddo see him like this tbh.

~ He's definitely going to try to get into that lab, especially after he sees the other kid there. And he's going to end up real messed up as a result lol.

~ Will has a deer buddy, Galadriel, and I'm torn between having him save her or having the gut-punch of him having to bury her. Either way, feelings!!

Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: ~So much deer cuddling. He loves all the deer, except those creepy centaur ones, fuck those guys.
