Desired CR: adults who can show him how to actually fight! fellow teenagers to commiserate over deeply fucked-up shit with! people he can make fun of! other people from horror canons! anything and everything really. for this month specifically, I'm down with starting off CR via the house on the hill or the car drive, and also for people and bears who will rescue his scrawny ass from danger if he ever accidentally runs into a White Walker. Event Ideas:
WHITE WALKERS so Richie won't be directly confronting any of the White Walkers if he can help it (sometimes he can't, but most of the time he will stay the fuck away from them if possible), but he is willing to help in fighting them off. once someone figures out that the bones from November can actually kill the Walkers, Richie will put up the Mist monster skeleton he brought home from November as raw material for whatever weapons they can fashion from it. he's been trying to assemble it in his basement as a conversation piece, but like, this is a much better cause.
BEARS lbr ten seconds with Richie and he'll be on at least one bear's shit list. I do imagine they'll still rescue him if he gets in trouble bc like, anyone who dies to the White Walkers is resurrected as one of their minions, but pls feel free to have your bear characters view Richie (and sometimes his Mimikyu Venkman) as just a lot of trouble.
STARS ALIGN I'm not sure yet what Richie's dream guide will look like but atm I'm flip-flopping between beagle and spotted hyena. I got nothing in particular for this but I'm down for whatever people want!
HOUSE ON THE HILL / A LONG DRIVE OH YES. am planning to have Richie get caught up in both of these prompts like, a lot, both as his usual teenaged self and his adult-sized version. I want people to learn more about Derry and his CRAU experiences in Mask or Menace for the house on the hill prompt, so certainly the house will likely warp to not only fit Richie's memories but also to give away his actual age (a fourteen-year-old boy decorates his room very differently from a forty-year-old man's), if he gets caught up in the house while looking like an adult. as for the car prompt, I don't feel like having false memories of romantic relationships between PCs, but I would love fake familial or boss-employee relationships! and I would dearly love the quintessential "coming out in a car" trope.
