Waking up disoriented, unsure if he is still sleeping or waking... that's every day for Hypnos. Nothing to worry about!
The crippling feeling of abandonment as he floats down the hall, now that's a little disconcerting. How long now has it been since Mother Nyx talked to him? Thanatos has been spending much more time up on the surface, is it really because of that war or whatever? Is Zagreus actually going to leave leave? He's having trouble pinpointing the last time he spoke to anyone, time dragging on impossibly long as it sometimes does in dreams. Has he become a shade, doomed to wander endlessly?
And then the comforting sound of Death's Approach. Those harbinger bells that mortals fear has Hypnos perking up from inside his comforter-cloak.
"Thanatos?" Does he sound a little desperate? Maybe, but that's fine. He flails as he hover-turns toward the directions of the tolling bells.
3. Don't touch that Die-al!
