Gar does try his best to stay in good spirits, though it's not always easy. Now he's more shocked as he hears those names being uttered. Now he steps closer as he gets a better look at him. He definitely looked a lot like Dick, even if all the details weren't quite there. But then, he's been getting used to seeing people slightly different from the versions he knows.

"Dick?" he asks uncertainly, while it sinks in. "You - you're Dick? ...Or... a Dick?" He points to himself, hope rising in his features. "And you know a me. But, not green? Um, anyway that's great! I - I'm so psyched to see you!"

While he wishes he could see more people from his own world, this still is big for Gar. It's someone he really knows back home, and who actually knows who he is! Or a version of him! Not to mention that he knows Dick as an older and very capable hero, who can definitely help out around here! And help him to feel less lost.
