It's honestly hard to believe Hypnos any time he says he is taking something seriously. He has that tone of voice, no matter what. But he does seem to be attempting to think of things now, which Thanatos appreciates, even if he would never say so.

He cringes a little at the thought of dying in order to escape, but his eyes do flick to his scythe for a moment. If they want to take the 'death' route to get back to the House of Hades, there are few better tools...

"Let's save that for a last resort. As frustrating as you can be, I don't want to decapitate you." That's about as close to 'I love you, Hypnos', as he will probably ever say. "Follow along, then." He turns away then, expecting Hypnos to come along as he heads again for that door. The door that they've probably gone through a couple of times already, but it changes the environment each time.
