Thanatos pauses, looking over his shoulder when Hypnos tells him to wait up, as if he could have possibly lost him in the transition from one version of the hallway to another.

He is a little disgusted by the mess here, though. Thanatos is used to the Underworld and all, that doesn't mean he likes the decor. Skulls? Great. Blood and wailing in the background? This is some Tartarus stuff. Thanatos isn't supposed to be trapped in Tartarus.

"It is changing as we go by...." He frowns, thinking on this. He's hardly able to tell what is causing Hypnos anxiety, himself more worried about the possibility of there being no end to this, and him truly being stuck here. "I-... I don't know what to do", he finally admits, hating hearing the words coming out of his mouth.
