Orpheus watches with a considerable amount of alarm as Thanatos dispatches the thing that was possessing him - not that he disapproves, necessarily. It was trying to kill him and was strong enough to very nearly overwhelm a god, so it's probably for the best that it's gone now, but that doesn't make watching Death do his work any more pleasant.
Either way, he doesn't know what Thanatos means about his face, but he's glad to have helped, at least.
"I'm glad it worked!" he says. "I was worried it wasn't going to, for a moment there." But it did, and that's what matters. He smiles, genuine despite looking pretty shaken, until something occurs to him.
"Oh, um. Now that we're out of there, I should ask. How long have you been here? Or - maybe how long has it been since you woke up somewhere you didn't recognize, is a better question?"
