He glances down at the tattoo on the back of his right hand - a circle (a moon?) adorned with antlers and arrows, which he'd assumed was some message from Artemis, at first. But as it became clearer and clearer that deer were closely associated with Sodder as well, he'd become less and less sure of that. There had been other little things here and there, too - seeing flocks of crows flying across the sun, flowers blooming early in the frost, or other small omens like that - but he could never be sure if he was just reading too far into it because he was hoping to hear from them.
"Is... is it any different for you? I'm just a mortal, so it'd make sense if they weren't answering me, but..." If Thanatos is out of reach, that's a whole different story.
