He does cut a pretty fine figure, it's true. And I would love to have him meet faces he knows/people he doesn't. I think he only knows Jane obliquely, but he will still definitely know her face. And since he's already had a moment of someone knowing him without him knowing them, it seems fair to do it to someone else (sort of)!
