This is definitely a talk we should have. I feel like a canon update would definitely be the kind of shake up they need to move them along. Ruby will probably be a bit slower to update as she's going to have the eye stuff going on anyways. (Which hey, soon emerald will have a deerington crime too and that could help!)

Sometimes you just have to poke fun at your past horrible revenge plots. Ruby would probably be down. God it would be great foreshadowing to her ending up in a terrible spot at the end of the month too.
