NOVEMBER'S EVENT

Welcome to the temporary rehousing event for Deerington! All characters will be able to return to their homes with the December Event. Until then, they have been given new temporary homes in tree houses! For housing arrangement, you can choose between being randomly placed in a tree house or choose your roommates.

All housing information will be listed on the 13th. Even those who sign up for specific housing, your character's house number will be randomly assigned.

The event itself with specific details will be posted on the fifth.

This page also serves as the plotting post for November's event!

All locations, character homes, and character items will return to normal in December. Until then, only what's mentioned in the event will be accessible to characters.

HOUSING FORMS

Housing sign-ups will close on the at the end of the 12th at midnight.

You may choose to have your character randomly sorted into a housing arrangement or you can choose to house your character with specific other characters. If you choose to have selected roommates for your housing, make sure everyone involved signs up as well. This will ensure that we know everyone placed in specific housing is in agreement of this arrangement. Thank you!

Anyone who is not signed up by the 11th at midnight will be randomly placed. While all characters will be given a housing number, your characters do not need to stay in a cabin ICly. You can choose to have them go off on their own. Just be aware that all amenities most characters require to live/survive comfortably are made readily available at the campsite.

DETAILS OF THE EVENT

So you can get prepared for events ahead of time, we will now be releasing event bulletins before the event so players can prepare accordingly.

November's event will be as follows:

All characters will fall into a brief coma. When they wake up, they will discover that Deerington has returned to normal....Or has it?

Deerington will appear overly perfect. The weather will be a little chilly, and the sun has returned along with the deer and the Dog Keeper's dogs.

All characters will wake up outside of their homes in Toy Boxes. These boxes will look a lot like the Barbie doll boxes you all may be familiar with. Meaning there will be a clear window of plastic on the front, and the box will be decorated to suit a character's canon. You may choose what name appears on the box (whether it's the character's actual name, alias, etc) and you may also choose if their canon's name is on the box (ie; X-Men, Yuri on Ice etc.). All characters will be turned temporarily into dolls. You may choose what kind of doll your character is transformed into whether it's a nendroid, a puppet, a Barbie-esque style doll, or what have you. Further details about what it means to be a doll will be in the post itself. Characters cannot experience death while being dolls, but they may be maimed.

All locations will have turned into doll houses. This means that all items and homes will be temporarily inaccessible. All locations and items will return to normal in December, so don't worry about losing homes/items for good. This event is meant to challenge characters' physical comforts.

However, all characters will fine six canon objects in their boxes with them that are most closely associated with that character. There is no limit on these kind of canon items so long as they are associated with the character themselves. That means Harry Potter could have his wand, Hedwig, a cauldron, and whatever else is associated to his character, but he couldn't have Beatrix Kiddo's sword. All six items will be real and functional.

All characters will return to living state after a certain period of time.

They will then be ushered into the woods by the Dog Keeper's Dogs and the deer of Deerington where they will find a Camp Site that has been set up for them. The camp site helps to provide shelter, some food, and some useful equipment like axes. Temporary shelter will be provided to characters through tree houses.

The two types of tree houses are pods and cabins. Two people in a pod, four people in a cabin.

You may choose your roommates or choose to be randomly placed. Anyone who doesn't fill out a form will still be randomly placed. However, your character does not have to stay in their assigned tree house. They are free to make a camp outside of the camp site.

Not staying in the camp site will put them in a dangerous situation as there will be monsters throughout the woods. The camp site is safe from the monsters, but outside of the camp site is not protected.
