Hello everyone! I'm Kas, I'm brand new, and I'm bringing you Agent Maine from Red vs. Blue.
Maine is a 7 ft tall, 406 lb wall of muscle made of rage, determination, and loyalty. He comes from a universe where humanity is fighting a war against their own extermination — and they're losing. As an elite soldier in this war, Maine is fully committed to doing anything it takes to win. His moral compass is a bit skewed (or broken, or basically nonexistent), but his heart's in the right place.
Sketchy morals aside, Maine is a fiercely loyal teammate who will literally throw himself in front of bullets for the people he cares about. He also has a violent temper and is kind of a dick. He's arriving just before getting shot in the throat nine (9) times (which he survives — yes, he's ridiculous). His info & permissions post is here.

Hello, hello! I'm Arisa, player of broody local dad Frank Castle, bringing in an entirely different kind of Marvel disaster with Wanda Maximoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For those unfamiliar, she's an Avenger also known as the Scarlet Witch, due to her hex powers that rely heavily on telekinesis with a bit of reality-warping properties (depending on how much you dive into her comics history — the movies are very vague on that). If you want more details regarding her powers, here's an information page that goes a bit further.
She's a bit reserved at the moment because her canon point is from the end of Captain America: Civil War, just after she's been imprisoned in the Raft for breaking the Sokovia Accords. So she's a bit on edge after being placed in a strait jacket by her friends, but all the more reason why she's actually fairly okay with hiding out in a mysterious small town.
I haven't yet decided on housing or career choice, but anyone is welcome to get some planning going if you'd like to meet her! TDM threads can be game canon if you so choose, as well, and here's an inbox link if interested. So feel free to add me on plurk atsausages or discord at ARISA#8586 if you'd like to get on some discussion. ♥

quill is an alien refugee who was brought to earth by the doctor after her species was wiped out, hiding as a physics teacher and (much to her annoyance) protecting coal hill from any alien threats that might wander through the rip in space-time. thanks, doctor.
she's pretty angry and bitter about her existance, rude to most people and absolutely the worst teacher you've seen. good luck, students. please complain about terrible/difficult her lessons are -- the physics content is spot on but she's not a teacher. or nice.

i am ghoulette! haven't gamed on dwrp in years (though i've been a relatively permanent resident on bakerstreet) and on a sudden impulse after having known about Deerington since its induction, whipped around and slammed my newest guy on the TDM because apparently, Aries season hit me hard. thank you for letting me be an addition to your game, Deer Gods, and to the cast in this story, i hope to meet and mingle with all of you!
as for my guy here — you can simply call him V, because there really is no other moniker for him. i'll explainlikeimfive for anyone either canonblind or new to the latest Devil May Cry installment and perhaps might not have seen the story to full fruition: V is 'the mysterious one' of the main cast of guys who go out and fight demons running amok. in particular, he's the whistleblower to the latest game's calamity, rousing the two other main protags and aiding in the fight where he can. not much is known about V, mostly because he keeps it that way, but he's a dabbler of dark magic it seems (summoning familiars of the demon/underworld) and a big fan of art and music. he comes with a very convoluted and crazy backstory, and all sorts of potential for existential crises. (the best kind of crises!)

my most immediate plans for V in Deerington is to get him a new book to read (you can't just subsist on William Blake, it's not nutritionally beneficial) therefore under fond advisement, possibly getting him a day job at the bookstore or library? which will not even occur to him as a thing or possibility immediately. dude's never had to pay rent a day in his life. who knew a dream could also be a total wake up call? also, his birthday is May 1. he won't even think to make a fuss about it, but i'd love to plan something small for that. 👀 or if you would like to chime in on his TDM top level for interactions (I ended up changing his canon point in the end, so the arrival might be a little skewed), please do!

she's taken from before civil war and peter's unmasking — marvel knights spider-man and evil that men do timeline, if we're being more direct. felicia does not have her bad luck powers in this canon point and is more morally gray than you'd think given the whole bad ex trope people think she is. lock your jewelry up, she still has some bad habits. :/ she won't be adjusting well because wow is this not new york city... smh

What's up kids, I'm Justine and some of y'all may remember me from my brief time here playing Taako, the worst elf. This time 'round I have Max Briest, the worst human, who I tossed on the TDM like several months ago before RL consumed me for a while. She's a mafia princess turned superhero turned supervillain, but like, she's nice about it? She's just trying to make the world a better place. By doing crime. Don't @ her about it. She tends to be very friendly and flirty on the surface but doesn't actually know how to have real relationships, so don't take her at face value. Also she can shapeshift, that's also a thing.
Max is going to live in Mergo in one of the homes on Princess Drive and work at the spa (night time version, winkwonk) and spend most of her time investigating this place or walking her dog, Maurice. He's a very good boy.
