Hello everyone! I'm Kas, I'm brand new, and I'm bringing you Agent Maine from Red vs. Blue.
Maine is a 7 ft tall, 406 lb wall of muscle made of rage, determination, and loyalty. He comes from a universe where humanity is fighting a war against their own extermination — and they're losing. As an elite soldier in this war, Maine is fully committed to doing anything it takes to win. His moral compass is a bit skewed (or broken, or basically nonexistent), but his heart's in the right place.
Sketchy morals aside, Maine is a fiercely loyal teammate who will literally throw himself in front of bullets for the people he cares about. He also has a violent temper and is kind of a dick. He's arriving just before getting shot in the throat nine (9) times (which he survives — yes, he's ridiculous). His info & permissions post is here.

Hello, hello! I'm Arisa, player of broody local dad Frank Castle, bringing in an entirely different kind of Marvel disaster with Wanda Maximoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For those unfamiliar, she's an Avenger also known as the Scarlet Witch, due to her hex powers that rely heavily on telekinesis with a bit of reality-warping properties (depending on how much you dive into her comics history — the movies are very vague on that). If you want more details regarding her powers, here's an information page that goes a bit further.
She's a bit reserved at the moment because her canon point is from the end of Captain America: Civil War, just after she's been imprisoned in the Raft for breaking the Sokovia Accords. So she's a bit on edge after being placed in a strait jacket by her friends, but all the more reason why she's actually fairly okay with hiding out in a mysterious small town.
I haven't yet decided on housing or career choice, but anyone is welcome to get some planning going if you'd like to meet her! TDM threads can be game canon if you so choose, as well, and here's an inbox link if interested. i am ghoulette! haven't gamed on dwrp in years (though i've been a relatively permanent resident on bakerstreet) and on a sudden impulse after having known about Deerington since its induction, whipped around and slammed my newest guy on the TDM because apparently, Aries season hit me hard. thank you for letting me be an addition to your game, Deer Gods, and to the cast in this story, i hope to meet and mingle with all of you!
as for my guy here — you can simply call him V, because there really is no other moniker for him. i'll explainlikeimfive for anyone either canonblind or new to the latest Devil May Cry installment and perhaps might not have seen the story to full fruition: V is 'the mysterious one' of the main cast of guys who go out and fight demons running amok. in particular, he's the whistleblower to the latest game's calamity, rousing the two other main protags and aiding in the fight where he can. not much is known about V, mostly because he keeps it that way, but he's a dabbler of dark magic it seems (summoning familiars of the demon/underworld) and a big fan of art and music. he comes with a very convoluted and crazy backstory, and all sorts of potential for existential crises. (the best kind of crises!)

This time 'round I have Max Briest, the worst human, who I tossed on the TDM like several months ago before RL consumed me for a while. She's a mafia princess turned superhero turned supervillain, but like, she's nice about it? She's just trying to make the world a better place. By doing crime. Don't @ her about it. She tends to be very friendly and flirty on the surface but doesn't actually know how to have real relationships, so don't take her at face value. Also she can shapeshift, that's also a thing.

This character is Mary Walker from MCU: Netflix's Iron Fist season 2. She's a former soldier turned mercenary who happens to possess multiple personalities. I'm going to have to keep a flow chart just so I do not confuse her various interactions with people, as each personality is unaware of the actions of the other.
- Walker is the battle hardened combatant and dominant personality. - Mary is the sweet pea artist personality. - There's a third personality, but we won't go there since she just likes to kill things...
A lot of her past is traumatic and triggery, so I aim to be mindful should the subjects ever come up. I look forward to meeting everyone!

If you're unfamiliar with the show, Steve lives in the town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, where he goes to high school, dates pretty girls, and sometimes gets dragged into fighting monsters because what is his life even. Check out his info page for more! He's going to live in Dunwich Hollow and attend High School for his last few months, while working part time at the movie theatre. He doesn't understand what the fuck is up with these deer or this town or anything, but that's about par for the course. Also if you're aged under 14 and you need someone to drive you around town, Steve is your mom reluctant assistant.

Hello all! Brand spanking new player here. I go by Kenkai and I'm bringing you a Hawke. Specifically Relm Hawke. For those of you not familiar with Dragon Age, she's my version of the malleable protagonist from Dragon Age 2, though Relm's canon point is from partway into the series' third game, Inquisition.
She's a purple/blue personality mix (for the canonblind: a mix of kind/diplomatic and sarcastic) with a heavier emphasis on the purple, so expect a lot of stupid jokes and quips. She's also a mage, capable of wielding a variety of magics and one who is so not going to be happy that this places screws with her ability to wield it well.
Other than that, she flirts a lot, drinks a lot, and runs away from her feelings a lot. Because they're a lot and she doesn't want to deal with them. They're dumb!!

it's jack wynand aka jack bioshock aka all your "would you kindly" memes are still valid in the year 2k19. i thought to myself "i should really app an adult here" and then it turned out that this adult was actually like, 4 years old and in an adult body since he was medically augmented and shit. he's a genetic FREAK OF NATURE. it's complicated. spoilers for a game that came out in 2007 i guess? and by spoilers i mean that bioshock is really, if you think about it, a game where you have to kill your three shitty dads to become the ultimate dad because somehow this literal child is a better dad than any of them were. Blythe here, bringing in Castiel from Supernatural. Castiel is a literal Angel of the Lord. He rebelled against Heaven, started a Civil War among angels, and now he's here amid the peak of a major character arc because I'm cruel that way.
There's two sides to one coin when it comes to him. There's Castiel, the relentless warrior of god who fought his way down into the pits of Hell to raise a soul from perdition. Then, there's Cas. The misfit, kind of awkward 'third wheel' (yes, he called himself that thinking it was a good thing) who's kind of clueless and naive when it comes to human interactions.
I don't have any definite plans other than getting him out there to experience the world. Now that he doesn't have his favorite duo on hand he'll have to navigate this humanity thing on his own and I can't wait to watch him make a mess of it!

Who pretty much couldn't be more different. She's a gunslinging gang leader and criminal mastermind of the American Southwest. She is bringing her giant nanny omnic B.O.B. with her. Loud, angry, and willing to cause a scene, I am sure she'll be making some noise.

Introducing Inspector Jacques Couseau of the French National Police (The Surete.). He is an incompetent inspector who murders the French language so badly that even Parisians don't understand him at times, could not find the culprit of a crime if they sat down on his lap and confessed it, routinely nearly gets his superior officers maimed or almost killed, destroys property through his clumsiness, flirts (badly) with female suspects and who calls just about everyone an idiot at some point.... usually several times. Yet, he is one of the most decorated inspectors of his era because he is also stupidly lucky. Like incomprehensibly lucky. Like "This man should by all rights have died years ago and put the world out of is misery" lucky.

Caitlin is an MD and a scientist, and one of the founding members of Team Flash. She played mostly a support role (cause you know, doctor) until her own metahuman powers began to emerge and with them, her villainous other personality. ...who isn't much of a villain anymore but that's a loooooong story. The two halves have an almost sibling-like relationship now, working as a team and actually... functioning pretty well.
Killer Frost is no longer limited to appearing just when Caitlin's scared or angry (or just asleep), though she does tend to grab the wheel when Cait's in danger. Or sometimes... just when she feels like it.
Her canon point is just after the Elseworlds crossover, so she's initially going to think this whole dream thing is just another reality the baddie dreamed up. She'll be taking up a doctor position at the hospital, but I haven't picked housing for her just yet. TDM threads can be considered game canon if you like. He's likely to fight literally everyone, he has a pet raven named Chainsaw who he will protect with his life, he's absolutely queer as hell, and he drives a shiny car way too fast and also drinks too much. Hey y'all! I'm Kathryn and this is my first DWRP game in literally like 5+ years, and I'm bringing known idiot Will Graham here. Ftr his canon is pretty damn dark, it's basically arthouse grimdark horror, so I do have a page that contains general content warnings for him, in case you'd like me to skirt around certain subjects, or opt out of interacting with Will entirely! Now that the edgelord stuff's out of the way, let's give anyone canonblind a quick summary;
Will's a mid-thirties professor at the FBI Academy, in a world that's exactly the same as ours, just conveniently filled with enough serial killers to make a 'killer of the week' serial out of it. He gets dragged back out into the field to help with some murders and...immediately nosedives it in the mental health department. This guy is canonly a wreck, although he's stubborn enough to admit it in the same breath as promising he still isn't going to stop doing what he's doing.
With not-close-CR Will may seem prickly, ambivalent, avoidant, or just plain goddamn weird. With close CR he will also still act that way, with a side of blinding honesty that you may or may not have actually asked for. In fact, sudden unasked-for honesty is just a side effect of being around Will at all; this is explained a bit in his app, but basically he's a natural uhhhh infomodder. And he tends to just spit out nonsense about everyone around him and also himself. I apologize in advance for his edgelord slam poetry.
Sidenote that I adore cross-canon CR a lot and am used to lurking bakerstreet with this guy with endless tunneling AUs. This character is Mary Walker from MCU: Netflix's Iron Fist season 2. She's a former soldier turned mercenary who happens to possess multiple personalities. I'm going to have to keep a flow chart just so I do not confuse her various interactions with people, as each personality is unaware of the actions of the other.
- Walker is the battle hardened combatant and dominant personality.
- Mary is the sweet pea artist personality.
- There's a third personality, but we won't go there since she just likes to kill things...
A lot of her past is traumatic and triggery, so I aim to be mindful should the subjects ever come up.

She's a purple/blue personality mix (for the canonblind: a mix of kind/diplomatic and sarcastic) with a heavier emphasis on the purple, so expect a lot of stupid jokes and quips. She's also a mage, capable of wielding a variety of magics and one who is so not going to be happy that this places screws with her ability to wield it well.
Other than that, she flirts a lot, drinks a lot, and runs away from her feelings a lot. Because they're a lot and she doesn't want to deal with them. They're dumb!!

There's two sides to one coin when it comes to him. There's Castiel, the relentless warrior of god who fought his way down into the pits of Hell to raise a soul from perdition. Then, there's Cas. The misfit, kind of awkward 'third wheel' (yes, he called himself that thinking it was a good thing) who's kind of clueless and naive when it comes to human interactions.
I don't have any definite plans other than getting him out there to experience the world. Now that he doesn't have his favorite duo on hand he'll have to navigate this humanity thing on his own and I can't wait to watch him make a mess of it!

Introducing Inspector Jacques Couseau of the French National Police (The Surete.). He is an incompetent inspector who murders the French language so badly that even Parisians don't understand him at times, could not find the culprit of a crime if they sat down on his lap and confessed it, routinely nearly gets his superior officers maimed or almost killed, destroys property through his clumsiness, flirts (badly) with female suspects and who calls just about everyone an idiot at some point.... usually several times. Yet, he is one of the most decorated inspectors of his era because he is also stupidly lucky. Like incomprehensibly lucky. Like "This man should by all rights have died years ago and put the world out of is misery" lucky.

Caitlin is an MD and a scientist, and one of the founding members of Team Flash. She played mostly a support role (cause you know, doctor) until her own metahuman powers began to emerge and with them, her villainous other personality. ...who isn't much of a villain anymore but that's a loooooong story. The two halves have an almost sibling-like relationship now, working as a team and actually... functioning pretty well.
Killer Frost is no longer limited to appearing just when Caitlin's scared or angry (or just asleep), though she does tend to grab the wheel when Cait's in danger. Or sometimes... just when she feels like it.
Her canon point is just after the Elseworlds crossover, so she's initially going to think this whole dream thing is just another reality the baddie dreamed up. She'll be taking up a doctor position at the hospital, but I haven't picked housing for her just yet. TDM threads can be considered game canon if you like. Feel free to add me on plurk at

Hey y'all! I'm Kathryn and this is my first DWRP game in literally like 5+ years, and I'm bringing known idiot Will Graham here. Ftr his canon is pretty damn dark, it's basically arthouse grimdark horror, so I do have a page that contains general content warnings for him, in case you'd like me to skirt around certain subjects, or opt out of interacting with Will entirely! Now that the edgelord stuff's out of the way, let's give anyone canonblind a quick summary;
Will's a mid-thirties professor at the FBI Academy, in a world that's exactly the same as ours, just conveniently filled with enough serial killers to make a 'killer of the week' serial out of it. He gets dragged back out into the field to help with some murders and...immediately nosedives it in the mental health department. This guy is canonly a wreck, although he's stubborn enough to admit it in the same breath as promising he still isn't going to stop doing what he's doing.
With not-close-CR Will may seem prickly, ambivalent, avoidant, or just plain goddamn weird. With close CR he will also still act that way, with a side of blinding honesty that you may or may not have actually asked for. In fact, sudden unasked-for honesty is just a side effect of being around Will at all; this is explained a bit in his app, but basically he's a natural uhhhh infomodder. And he tends to just spit out nonsense about everyone around him and also himself. I apologize in advance for his edgelord slam poetry.
Sidenote that I adore cross-canon CR a lot and am used to lurking bakerstreet with this guy with endless tunneling AUs. If you're even remotely interested in CR with him - positive or negative - lemme know, because I'm all for it. my plurk is at itrhymes for anyone who'd like to keep in touch/circle each others' orbits to see when threading can happen!
