Character Name: Midoriya Izuku

Day to Day Activities: Izuku attends school regularly as well as doing work for Fear, but otherwise trains every morning and can be found outside somewhere a good 80% of his time.

About This Character: Izuku is a young hero-in-training who is usually very optimistic (but you know, Deerington be Deerington sometimes) and his sole drive and purpose in life is to become a hero and protect others. He's also shy, clumsy, and just your all around sweet kinda boy.
Any Warnings: Nothing in particular, just some tough times with not having a Quirk as a kid but nothing overly serious that needs a warning.

Present Life: WELL CURRENTLY....as of the 17th anyway Izuku is dead, and won't be back until the 24th and then just...very sick until May. He's gone through another even worse sickness with the virus that struck when he first arrived, on top of the color shenanigans and turning into an actual bear in March. Suffice it to say Izuku's life right now has been a very wild series of very sharp lows and highs pingponging back and forth so hard he has been in a bit of a tizzy. Things did seem like they were relaxing a bit at the start of April but what a naive fool he was...he's not going to let it stop him, obviously, but he's not the best he's ever been.
Future Ideas: I don't have anything set in stone in particular at the moment! I want him to continue working towards his status as a hero, at least as best he can in a place like this. That means focusing on helping people- and by extension the town- in whatever ways he can manage.

Character Name: "Shiro" -- his real name is Takashi Shirogane, but good luck getting him to say that.
Age: 25
Employment in Deerington: Science Teacher
Residence in Deerington: Maus Haus, out by the park, living with Team Voltron.
Day to Day Activities: He goes to work, usually riding his hoverbike, and can be found around the school for most of the day. Afterwards, he's out walking the streets with his giant robot lion (who's now the size of a draft horse).

He can also be found at the coffee shop drinking way too much coffee. Or running errands for his teammates. Basically, Shiro tends to keep moving for as much of the day as humanly possible.

About This Character: HEY THERE DEER TOWN, IT'S HIM, YA DAD.
Meaning hi, hello, this is Shiro and he's the Dad Friend. Supportive and self-sacrificing, a determined guy who will go down fighting if it means protecting other people. He's also kind of a dork in the right moments. As much as he's become a decent leader figure, he's still a 25 year old space college boy deep down, with a weakness for bad jokes, laser noises, and snowball fights. On the other hand, this guy is Not Okay. The Seen Some Shit kind of Not Okay -- he's dealing with a truckload of amnesia and a lot of PTSD symptoms stemming from being captured, used as a gladiator and then a science experiment. But hey. he's fine. its fine.

Any Warnings: He shows a lot of symptoms of PTSD - anxiety, specific triggers, flashbacks. And a lot of said flashbacks deal with surgical and/or medical related trauma and experiments. There's also a lot of violence.

Present Life: Shiro's been here almost a year now, and his whole team has showed up, along with a couple additions. He's struggling with the events of the Sinkhole and recovering bit by bit from the Flu. He's blaming himself for the deaths of people close to him, because of his perceived inability to save them, by going down into the sinkhole himself, despite the whole thing wigging out his anxiety too much to handle. (Also he was sick and puking, but he doesn't tend to factor that in much).

He now has his Lion here, which is giving him an enormous confidence boost. Necessary after the last couple months. He's trying to puzzle out the mystery of Sodder and who she is, with Allura, and they have some leads.

He lives with his team out by the park, and is... totally not dealing with having his ex partner here in town too.

Future Ideas: He desperately wants to get his people home. To find a way to keep his friends and found family safe. So more exploration or clue-hunting is absolutely in the books for him, if that's something anyone else is interested in.

CR You Want: He has a really strong tendency to adopt slash look after people in need of it. But in general, he's a friendly guy, who really goes out of his way to help, so friends are always welcome.

he's a part of a long-standing reincarnation cycle and as of the last one he couldn't rest as he normally would have at the end of the final battle; the memories of his pained and anguished comrades bothered him so much he ended up selling his soul to the evil forces in his world. now he wants to kill them and then himself, so they can truly rest.
Any Warnings: besides the suicide bit, there's not much. his whole gig is possession and corruption, if that bothers anyone.

Present Life: he's sort of ... well, no, he's very much lost and feeling like he's bereft of purpose now that he's far away from home, and without his former friends to kill. that was his sole goal, and so now he's a little more human but ... not enough.
Future Ideas: i would love for demyan to find a sense of purpose that he now lacks. i might even want him to drop his guard enough to let someone attempt to heal him.

CR You Want: I WANT IT ALL TBH he's sort of hard to get along with sometimes, so that lends more towards antagonistic friends at best, and probably a lot of people who don't like him. but if you show him true kindness he'll do anything for you.

Employment in Deerington: F.E.A.R. as an assistant in the technology department.

Day to Day Activities: Skye can be found at the diner quite often, she does work at F.E.A.R. HQ, but also brings it home with her sometimes as well. She’s been working on her self defense skills with Frank Castle (Aka Pete). She usually goes to the bar a couple of times a week because it’s a good way to socialize, and sometimes just enjoys getting lost in her own head while wandering around town.

About This Character:
Skye is a compassionate, sarcastic and optimistic person. She really wants nothing more than to help others to the point that sometimes help might not be wanted, but Skye will go out of her way to make sure they know that she’ll be there for them. She has a hard time fully trusting people, so when she does finally let someone in, she’s completely and utterly loyal to them. Back home, Skye worked for a secret organization called S.H.I.E.L.D., well, worked with them. She’s not exactly on the books with them yet. She’s crazy good with computers, and other kinds of tech, which is how she even got involved with S.H.I.E.L.D. in the first place. She’s never really talked about that with most of the people here unless they happen to be from the same version of Earth that she’s from. Her past is a mystery to her as she was orphaned at a very young age, and having dealt with that kind of abandonment she struggles to feel ‘safe’ with anyone. All of that being said, Skye really likes to have fun.

Any Warnings: There’s nothing super graphic about Skye’s past, but there are times she might mention her shitty past when it comes to growing up in and out of an orphanage. Also happened to get shot close to a year ago(right before arriving here). So if that sort of thing freaks you out, let me know!

Well, life in Deerington has been eventful for Skye, to say the least. She arrived on the verge of dying, and in all honesty. She still thinks she might be dead with no way of proving otherwise. Which is a concern of hers that she’s only brought up with one person. She’s made friends while here, and some pretty close relationships with a handful of people. She’s not outright dating anyone, but, she does have Feelings(™) for Bucky Barnes and Clara Oswald. She’s trying to make the most out of life here, but Skye still wants to know what’s going on back home just as much as she doesn’t. For however long she may be stuck here, Skye will keep doing what she can to feel ‘normal’ in a place like this. Which, unsurprisingly, isn’t easy.

Future Ideas: I honestly don’t like to plan things out like this, because all too easily something could come up that might make things go in a different direction.

CR You Want: I hate to be that person, but I’m honestly up for anything. Friends, frenemies, straight up hate each other… I think some more negative CR could be fun. Even if it ends up with them being friends down the line. In some ways, Skye can be a people pleaser, so she does try hard to get people to like her. ESPECIALLY, the people who are resistant to her ~charming~ personality at first.

About This Character: Sarissa is difficult. She can be abrasive, sarcastic and very moody. On the flip side, she can also be loyal, affectionate, and surprisingly gentle. She almost always exists in the extremes or being too much in some way, and honestly would be totally exhausting to know IRL. Although she’s reckless and obnoxious, she’s also surprisingly observant and erudite, and kind of a vault of random information. So like… basically a heart of gold, but a heart of gold wrapped up in deeply annoying packaging.

Any Warnings: Potential themes that can come up with Sarissa are being the victim of domestic and family violence, and related PTSD. There’s also themes of disordered eating, alcohol abuse, death/murder and organised crime. If there are any topics you want to avoid in threading with her or would like to opt-out of cr with her entirely, here’s my hmd/opt-out post.

Present Life: Things have been pretty chill, she’s been tumbling chaotically between events. Low-key pining for her fiancee who isn’t here and maybe isn’t actually her fiancee anymore (it’s complex), working, annoying those unfortunate enough to interact with her.
Future Ideas: I really want her to set up a roller derby team, I just need… be organised.

Day to Day Activities: Newt is usually working or caring for his growing menagerie of creatures. It can be assumed that he spends most of his time at the places he works at or his own home or the National Park or anywhere that's basically the great outdoors. He often takes his creatures on walks or to get fresh air.

About This Character: Newt is a magizoologist from the Wizarding World. He's basically an expert in animals of all kinds as he has spent his entire life observing and researching them. He's a skilled tracker, catcher, and carer. Newt is basically your guy to go to about anything animal related. He's known to be a bit eccentric and very stubborn in his opinions. A rather shy man and someone who prefers animals for company than people. He's a hard worker with a heart of gold and very loyal to boot. It's said that he's someone who doesn't seek power or fame or glory, but merely does things because it's the right thing to do. Despite his shyness, he isn't exactly a pushover. Newt's time period is the 1920s, so his scope of the modern world is very limited and he has very little knowledge about technology.

Any Warnings: Nothing in particular that needs warnings, I believe.

Present Life: Newt is having a particular rough time at the moment. He received a canon update back at the beginning of March, so he's dealing with a lot of loss right now. Not only is he dealing with the loss and memories from his canon update, but Newt lost quite a bit of very close CR, including the person he was dating in Deerington. Despite that, he's getting on by as best he can and he might be compartmentalizing a lot of those issues away moving forward. He has yet to talk to anyone about his significant other being gone. Instead, he's focusing on his creatures and work and the people who are there. He opened a business recently and is looking for assistants to help care for animals.
Future Ideas: I'd actually like to eventually get Newt to potentially quit the Vet Clinic or at least I'd love the idea of Newt becoming a professor of some kind, but that's probably a very long goal from now. As of right now, I don't have anything particular in mind for the future.

CR You Want: I'd like for him to really build some closer friends that are closer to his age if possible! He lost a lot of that recently and I'd really love for him to have more close friends around his age. I'd also really love to slow burn a new romantic interest in the future! These two are just particulars I'd like to build up!

Arcade, thrift shop, and the junkyard are also favourite places of his to wander in, playing around or looking for new baseball themed things to buy and take home if he could.

About This Character: Jyushimatsu is one of the six spawns of satan called Matsuno brothers, all sharing the same face. He's the happiest manchild of the bunch, always smiling and screaming about baseball and other random stuff that doesn't always make sense. He's also a full blown weirdo, an enigma who embodies the spirit of a gag anime whose humanity has been questioned multiple times, and an unrepentant virgin, but he's not completely bad when there's no influence from his brothers. If you look past his weirdness, all you see is a fairly nice but selfish guy who just doesn't want to grow up and have adult responsibilities.
Any Warnings: He's a walking mass of dick and fart jokes, and he's also horny as hell, but I'm not putting the latter out there unless there's valid context.

Present Life: Currently, he's pretty miserable because of pollen allergy. The event won't be kind to him either, since he's bound to cause a friend's death and nearly kill another. He's the sort of guy who tries masking the bad feelings by being a silly idiot, so you won't get true sads unless your character is close enough with him.
Future Ideas: Probably find him a job once he wisens up a bit, gather up a baseball team and/or play baseball with as many people as possible, find a crush, get himself a love interest, get laid, etc...

CR You Want: A lot of friends! People who are into sports and/or baseball, training partners, drinking buddies, outworldly cryptids like himself, those who don't mind him being a weirdo, those who do mind and call him out, people he can do crazy shit with, kid characters he can take under his wing as his disciples, someone he'd FALL IN LOVE WITH... About This Character: quill is blunt, harsh and cold. a lot of it is an act, putting out a tough exterior intended to keep people away (some of it comes from her past) but if you can slip past that or hold interest long enough you'll find that she's pretty smart and skilled, a tactical head on her with good ideas. but good luck getting there, she's more likely to piss someone off with rudeness.

Present Life: wishing hitting sarissa was an option, trying to figure out/get information on the town. she just got here so she isn't into much yet

As much as she's playing nice with most people she'd love someone to be bitchy with, so she'd probably try to get along with Quill, especially if/when she realizes Quill is a smart lady.

Character Name: Fern
Age: 16-17, his birthday went by right when he arrived.
Employment in Deerington: Nowhere at this point.
Residence in Deerington: 437 Allison Road
Day to Day Activities: Fern is still a bit of a deadbeat at this point, neither attending school nor working. He can be found hanging out on the roof of his house, and now that spring has sprung, in the foliage of random trees. He's also around in the National Parks and any really nature-y area, either lazing around or practicing with the grass sword. At all times of the day or night he might be wandering around town to explore a real working human society. Since he can't eat he generally tries to avoid restaurants and cafes.

About This Character: Fern was originally the protagonist of Adventure Time, a really nice kid who never gave up, turned into a sentient sword and then later merged with another sentient sword. While he still has many normal traits of an adolescent boy (he likes fishing, baseball, video games and dungeon crawling), that whole situation has left him with an enormous inferiority complex, zero self-worth, a whole lot of self-hatred, and 2 separate consciousnesses up in his mindspace. He has a tendency to be violent and enjoys violence, though he's well aware his level of it crosses a line. As Finn he was essentially a knight, which comes with its own share of issues, but it also means Fern generally does still want to help people (despite thinking he'll only screw things up worse if he does).
Any Warnings: Body horror, parental neglect, identity issues, violence, objectification (he was literal swords, and in the more metaphorical sense of being a knight).

Present Life: Fern is a real dumb boy with a crush on Maggie and, erroneously thinking she's a princess, has dedicated himself to her as her knight. That means if she needs anything done, no matter how small, he'll do it. He's also been sword training with Reaper and enjoying that a lot, despite Reaper being Reaper. He agreed to play baseball with Jyushimatsu, so that'll happen eventually as well.

During the pollen he's going crazy after seeing the entity and trying to get people to look by way of being a total gremlin and just ambushing people. For the egg event specifically, he's Finn the Human, AKA a good boy who is also a hero, and eager to help anyone who needs it. He's also on a quest to Eat Food (Especially Meatloaf) as he lost that ability as Fern. When he goes back to being Fern he'll probably go wreck stuff at the junkyard to try and feel better about having lost being himself a second time.
Future Ideas: He'll probably start working at some point. I believe after the pollen he and Maggie are going to go around water ballooning people as a prank. In less specific ideas, I want him to kill someone and for someone to kill (or mostly kill) him.

CR You Want: Both positive and negative cr! Fern's got major hangups about himself and makes that known, plus it isn't that hard to antagonize him, so he's very easy for negative cr. Positive cr like older sibling figures so he has some good influences in his life would be great, because oh boy does he need them. He's a magnet for deadbeat dad figures (canonly he has like 3-4 it's ridic), and good mom figures. He also loves dogs, so please send all the dogs his way.

But really - really - she's a great friend.

The most friendly, dorky, ridiculous, big-hearted magician you'll ever meet. Might actually be a human teddy bear, we just don't know. Josh covers up a lot of emotional insecurity with humor and playing up his clowning around for laughs, but underneath that he's a caring, empathic, and warm person with a strong sense of right and wrong who just wants everybody to be okay.

He's also a magician, the modern grad school equivalent of a wizard. You can find a more detailed version here or on his app, but basically Josh's magical specialty is manipulating earth and plant life. He's also a maverick at coming up with and partaking in a lot of magical drugs. Every school has a stoner, and he is deffo that guy. He also has sexually transmitted lycanthropy thanks to a little hanky panky with a werewolf, meaning that he needs to be caged up at the F.E.A.R compound every full moon, oops. .__.

➟ Day to Day Activities: He likes to check up on people and he'll pop up just about anywhere (especially if he's delivering any illicit substances, shhh, don't tell)! Strong-willed, adventurous, stubborn as hell, guarded, and the type of resourceful that comes with having to take care of yourself from a young age. Also the dictionary definition of teenage sarcasm. In truth, your regular girl who really just wants to be normal, but has a hard time showing her feelings or getting close to others.

You can find more info here or on her app, but Henry discovered she had the power of teleportation in the middle of a classmate trying to sexually assault her, which saved her but grievously injured him. Her ability has been linked to fear ever since. She's realized she can trigger it by putting herself in harm's way and/or inducing a state of fear.

➟ Day to Day Activities: Henry is a roamer and can be found at all hours of the day and night with her trusty headphones, listening to music. Sometimes she'll skip school, sometimes she'll get up to some vandalism. Since it's been open, she's been spending time at Pixie's, tricking (or trying to) the pixie to get in.

A man of few words who's spent the last eight years living the zombie apocalypse life and occasionally helping to save (what's left of) the world. A good boy and a soft-hearted dork underneath all the "life sucks and all my friends are dead" trauma. Likes to say he's Okay but is really Very Tired. Observant, brave to a masochistic fault, and playful if you can get past his shell. Just don't fuck with his friends because he'll shoot you in the face and sleep fine.

No special powers here, though if anyone were to study his blood, it's a sludge of multiple vaccines to the zombie virus, which he once partially contracted via a bite from a zombie hybrid. He's also an ace survivalist and marksman with anything he can throw or shoot. Ask him a pop culture question, though, and he's all headtilts as he was raised by doomsday preppers who didn't expose him to much of that stuff.

About This Character: Max is kinda complicated!! On the surface she comes across as a friendly, if a little closed off, rich girl who probably hasn't experienced much of the world outside her own bubble. At the moment she's definitely playing up being nice, she wants to make friends & get people to trust her, since that's a good way to survive. She isn't openly admitting any other skills to the public at large, but she values her life & the lives of others over secrets, so if push comes to shove she'll do what she has to. Beneath the surface she's a supervillain from a fucked up background who got it into her head that crime was the best way to make improvements to the world, and has only spiralled down that path in the last decade. She hasn't had a real friend for around a decade and doesn't know how to relate to people outside the roles she plays.

V as a person is quiet and withheld, but is far from brooding; he's reactive to amusement, he's as smarmy and one-liner-flinging as any DMC protag, and he loves dancing and air violin... in game he is weaker and somewhat sickly, which I'm retaining in Deerington because I like making my cast suffer. dramatic consumption cough just adds to your dramatic goth vibe.

Employment in Deerington: He just arrived this month, so he's currently unemployed! Will used to be a professor and a consulting special agent for the FBI before he was nabbed into Deerington, but I'm actually hoping to set him up as a mechanic here (which is a job he had when much younger)...and assisting FEAR. He'll be in denial about joining it properly for a while, though.
Residence in Deerington: Clover Lane in Clarke Acres! Will canonly likes living Far From People, so if anyone wants to visit his house out in the (relative) boonies, I'm sure there's absolutely no scary implications about being far from the town center...
Day to Day Activities: For the first few weeks, Will's gonna be stalking around looking for clues about the town. He's gonna be going through mailboxes (woops, felony!), peering into cars, combing through any public buildings he can, and generally staring at people. He's a creep. He's also emotionally intelligent enough to do this all in a moderately covert way, so your character may or may not have noticed the snooping...but they've probably seen him around, because he's rarely home right now. He will also have been offering help to any non-native character who looks like they need it! For bigger issues like car trouble, or lost de-aged characters/actual children, at least.

About This Character: Will is a natural infomodder-- Excuse me, he has an 'empathy disorder', a made-up term for what makes him so valued by the FBI: he's very good at putting himself in someone else's shoes. Too good. Doing this for serial killers time after time puts a lot of mental strain on him, and Will's currently just finished healing from a terrible stab wound (and terrible time) trying and failing to capture infamous serial killer Hannibal Lecter. Will has a lot going on in his head, and most of it's bad. He himself is capable of a lot of dark trains of thought and urgings, but he's overall driven by his need to help victims/hurt bad guys. And also seeking out connection, even though he's...got bad luck at finding it. Will tends to self-isolate due to being overwhelmed by how much he sees of others, so he may come off awkward, prickly, rude, or otherwise just plain weird. A lot of his dialogue will sound like he's competing in a gothic slam poetry session, and I apologize in advance. Most of his vocabulary appears to be metaphor.
Any Warnings: Will's got a more complete CW in his journal, but the basics includes gore/serious injuries, trauma, medical abuse/torture, cannibalism, gaslighting, and murder. All of that informs his day to day nonsense and could potentially come up in narration, if not dialogue, so please let me know any limits you have/if you're okay with interacting with Will!

Present Life: I mentioned it earlier, but right now Will's new and settling in! I'd like to sort of feel out how he fits in here. I'd also like him to set up in a job as a mechanic/general handyman (he came in with a full set of tools for working on cars & other small engines, or even leaky sinks) He's also affected by the pollen monster (fear-wise) and will be seeing it and choosing to become a follower/sympathizer of it, which could end up gaining him negative CR or netting him a sympathetic rescuer. Lemme know if you're interested in any of that!
Future Ideas: I'd like Will to help out with FEAR in the future! He'd be naturally drawn to it, and if FEAR didn't exist he'd basically be doing that solo for free anyway. He's going to resist joining it for a while, so I'd love to play out him finding out about it/helping out 'for free'/meeting other members/etc. He may also eventually become a professor, depending on how his CR/drives shake out in this new environment. Back home he taught forensics/forensic psychology, but here I imagine he'd be more likely to teach gun safety/wilderness survival/something adapted from 'forensic psych' to be more relevant to this weird weird world they've all found themselves in. Anything that shows him there's a need for those classes would put him on-track for it.

Day to Day Activities: Surprisingly, Wynonna's managed to adopt something of a routine now that she's been in Deerington for the last couple of months. She can usually be found at Dearly Diner for breakfast (aka hangover eggs) or Jane Dough for coffee and a pastry of some kind, depending on her mood. She's either working at the bar in the afternoon or the evening, and aside from that she tends to go to the movie theater to check out whatever's playing, the thrift shop to score some vintage duds, the pizza place for a good slice, or the supermarket for some questionable 2 a.m. grocery shopping. If you've seen her driving around town she's usually on her giant black motorcycle, although she did just get her truck as a new reward so feel free to flag her down for a ride.

About This Character: On the surface, Wynonna can come off as an easygoing personality laced with frequent amounts of toughness and snarking all wrapped up in fringed leather — and that's not entirely inaccurate. But the truth is that she's sort of damaged goods thanks to a super traumatic childhood that's given her a lifelong subscription of abandonment and trust issues, so the surface-level joking is basically just her way of keeping others at a distance.

She's made no secret of the fact that she's the great-great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp (yes, that Wyatt Earp), or that she's technically the latest in a long line of Earp heirs responsible for ridding their home turf of all the resurrected outlaws Wyatt ever put a bullet in — yes, that means demons, with the magical gun that kills them to boot. So she's definitely got experience dealing with the freaky, and even if Deerington has some stuff the likes of which she's never seen, she's pretty capable of keeping her head on straight long enough to take on whatever this town throws her way.
Any Warnings: Her application is a good place to start in terms of general warnings, including violence/death, parental abuse, alcoholism, depression/mental health issues and more, but happy to avoid those subjects in any threads if needed.

Present Life: Wynonna definitely made a memorable entrance in Deerington during the Valentine's Day festival, in which she promptly professed her Cupid-induced feelings to several people (including Sarissa Theron) and went on a literal blind date with Pete Castiglione (aka Frank Castle). She landed a gig at Hair of the Dog mostly to pay them back for damages she was responsible for after she and Sarissa took on a couple of drunks in a barfight her first month in. Since then, she's mostly been making new friends and growing the friendships that she already has.

That said, there have been some recent, ahem, developments with that Pete guy thanks to 1) a bit of ingested pot candy and an escalated water fight at Chloe's birthday party and 2) the attack of the cuddle pollen that swept through the town a couple weeks back, so their whole sitch has reached official ~It's Complicated~ status, especially now that she's one of the few people in Deer who knows his real name now. Given that she is very anti-commitment and isn't prioritizing romance in any way, shape or form, she's very carefully navigating that dynamic as of this moment while remaining insistent that they can be just friends, dammit.
Future Ideas: No big plans as of right now, but Wynonna will always and forever be available to help your character tackle any monster problems (mostly because I like writing fighty/action scenes for her, so any chance she has to kick ass is thoroughly welcomed).

About This Character:

Maine is a 24-year-old special ops space marine who has very little life experience outside of war. Personality-wise, he's basically a big ball of rage, determination, and loyalty wrapped up in a 7-foot-tall wall of muscle. In the words of the Counselor:

"A brute. Strong, unrelenting, fearless. He had no qualms when being asked to do the unpleasant, the morally questionable, because despite what many thought of him he knew he was, at his core, a soldier, and his actions inevitably served the greater good."

Maine is generally Really Bad at emotions that aren't anger, since anger has been the most useful throughout his life. This can initially make him difficult to get to know; he's standoffish and lacks empathy for strangers. But he warms up once he can relate to someone (e.g., figuring out what they have in common). Just don't piss him off.

About This Character: Whew, okay. Osomatsu is from a canon known as Osomatsu-san. it's wacky, he's wacky. he's an adult that doesn't work. he's also a loser and a virgin. he's got a good heart, though, very family-oriented. he is not above stealing from his little brothers, but he won't let you steal from them. he's easily manipulated by pretty girls.

there's more to him, though, because this Osomatsu is a CRAU, taken from a murdergame known as Cartesio. Osomatsu discovered there that he was not human, that he's a clone created by a scientist. he was put under some trauma, but he managed to survive to endgame (how?). he feels displaced because he's not real, and that all the memories he has of being Osomatsu are not his. only two other people know about his secret, and that is Franciscus, and Jyushimatsu. he may tell more people in the future, especially if you are his good friend.
Any Warnings: he was part of a murdergame, so he's Seen Some Shit. also participated in a grisly execution. underneath the surface there is a lot of self-loathing.

Present Life: he's just trying to figure out why he's in Deerington, but he isn't too worried about it. he's no longer sick, but is now running around as a teenager (immature is his younger self). with Franciscus' abrupt confession, Osomatsu is dealing with a lot of strange emotions. Chloe also has a tendency to be found putting graffiti up around town and has been for months, so a lot of her artwork decorates the city until they paint it over. And she steals stuff like booze from the Hart Mart on the regular. Why does she teach children again???

Also she doesn't really sleep much, so late night text shenanigans are always a thing, and she can be found at the Diner a lot when everything else closes down.

About This Character: She's a hot mess, but Chloe is actually a fairly chill person despite it all. She's really sarcastic and she loves people who will make bad puns with her. She loves art and she's trying to reconnect with her love for science after having to take a real long break from it in her canon. She can be a real bitch sometimes, but she has a lot of love to give, and she definitely has found a weird sort of niche in helping people that are struggling to take her mind off of her own problems. She loves to skip small talk and go into the real nitty gritty with people and she's got a tendency to ramble to fill the quiet spaces. This is worse than it ever was in her canon due to her time in Reims (thequietplace) and she can't stand the idea of not being able to talk or having long stretches of silence because of it.

She also flirts a lot and she gets panicked around hot people, but especially around hot girls. She doesn't know how to handle her attraction very well unless she's drunk. She's prone to casual sex and doesn't do attachment very well, since she's kind of in love with her best friend but she's not in a place to do a relationship and knows it. She also inappropriately hits on adults sometimes because it's her way of testing to see how trustworthy they are. She wants father-like figures and collects them like they're special edition Beanie Babies, but also takes 100 years to trust them enough to open up and still won't say she cares about anyone until they've been friends for ... a while. It's rough.

But if you want someone to go clubbing with, she's your gal.

MMMMMMM, YEAH, SHE'S A HOT MESS. Her application has a detailed background, but Chloe is very much dealing with a lot of issues both from home and from Deerington. Eddie used her as a chew toy back in October and killed her in a very gruesome fashion - she did not go through the death process then because Angela was able to resurrect her, but her usual healing process failed and she had to kinda... stitch her back together. Literally. She's got a scar that goes around her middle from it as well as multiple puncture scars all along her torso and up onto her neck. She was also shot in the head by Reaper back in December - she did go through the death process with this, and you can still see her ghost get killed whenever you go into Raccoon Alley as she never got rid of it. She has a scar in the center of her forehead from this that she likes to keep covered.

Outside of those really awful deaths, she's also dealing with having just permanently died back in her canon after also being aware of her 6 other deaths she experienced during the week she was home. She's got a SHIT TON of PTSD from all of this and it's... bad. It's real bad. She is usually going to be drinking or getting high in excess and she suffers from severe hallucinations that she will occasionally be found just, uh... Talking to. If you ever wanna catch her.

Chloe's trying to work on her issues though; she's been attempting to sort of cut back on drinking (and failing) and has been refocusing herself onto healthier things like teaching instead of dealing drugs. She's on a very dangerous edge due to having both really awesome influences in her life and really, really bad influences in her life and they could push her in either direction for the bettering or worsening of her character. But she's trying??? Really she is. Everything is okay, she swears.

Future Ideas: Man I don't even know. I'd like to actually have someone force her to confront her drinking problems lmao and I would also really love someone who could get her to fully open about about All Her Shit. She's gotten out bits and pieces (vague things about Rachel, some talks about her dad) but she hasn't actually... talked to anyone about it.

Also she's looking into the idea of how to wake up in worlds that aren't hers, so anyone who wants to do that kinda research is very much welcome.

CR You Want: FRIENDS ALWAYS - especially more people her age, and more girls because she's severely lacking in female friendship.

About This Character: frank is fairly reserved with a lot of secret history that he doesn't tend to share too often here, including his time as a soldier before his family was murdered, sending him on a revenge spree that gave him the name of "the punisher". instead, he tries to keep things as simple as possible, remaining polite and gentlemanly to those he meets (with a dash of sass thrown in if he's encouraged enough) and mostly keeping quiet unless spoken to. he'll only ever raise aggression when prompted, to which he can be incredibly violent and if he has good reason, he will kill someone who's hurt or tried to hurt someone innocent.
Any Warnings: as the punisher, frank's history and characters contains: violence, gore, murder, trauma, ptsd, detailed mentions of child death, various other aspects to military life, family loss, and multiple kills.

Present Life: it wasn't intended, but frank has really become a bit of a local dad since he's been here. considering the amount of underage characters in this town, he's run into a fair amount of them and has unintentionally become fairly concerned with their wellbeing and safety. to date, he's been teaching some of them self-defense for their own protection and making sure they're regulary fed (this includes meals that go beyond just junk food). mostly, his apartment has been broken into on a routine basis by laura, baby wolverine, who once accidentally stabbed him in the shoulder when he tried waking her up from a nightmare. the event brought them closer to understanding each other's traumatic pasts and they've gone into a bit of an agreement of looking out for one another. beginning to see her a bit like a daughter, frank's taken up responsibility for her, including getting a more reliable and secure job so he can cover the costs of her long grocery list demands.

since his arrival, he's also ran into wynonna earp more regularly than not (even forming the nicknames "harry" and "judy" for each other after the movie "dirty harry" and the singer judy garland respectively, it's endearing), enough that they've developed a unique friendship that keeps them checking up on each other regularly. after being saved and taken care of on more than one occasion by her, frank's formed a more trusting respect towards wynonna, which he's entirely insistent is platonic — nevermind an accidental kiss after a childish water fight at chloe's party and more smooches and confessions under the influence of cuddle pollen that don't need any fresh reminders.

additionally, after the accidental shoulder stab, the injury limited the use of his arm for a time and left him without a proper shave that he just eventually didn't even bother to get back on, so local dad is also currently sporting his own "dad beard" to go with it.

Future Ideas: he'll be growing out that beard more, and hopefully, have even more kids under his protection and care.

because he's under the guise of pete castiglione, frank's been keeping quiet and remaining on his best behavior, but i do want him to eventually break out and pull the "punisher" stunt, skull vest and all, if the circumstances are dire enough for him to get to that point. maybe even kill a pc?

About This Character: Elizabeth is a very kind, enthusiastic, somewhat naive girl from a floating city in an alternate 1910s. She's spent her whole life locked in a tower on her own and she can make tears in space to alternate dimensions.
Any Warnings: The main warnings for her canon are in relation to the overt racism present in Columbia, but there's really very little reason for that to come up.

Present Life: Elizabeth still feels like she's settling in even though she's been here a few months, partly because it took her so long to get over the virus in February so she was cooped up for several weeks, and partly because she's still learning how to do basic things like cooking for herself etc. She got caught in the creepy theme park this month but otherwise I haven't had any specific plans for her.
Future Ideas: I'm hoping to get Elizabeth a car and have her learn to drive soon, she also should probably learn some self defense sooner rather than later. She'll probably take on some more hours at the library now Dorian's gone, and I had an idea of her maybe starting some sort of amateur dramatic group if anyone would be interested in that.

CR You Want: Friends and mentors are always wanted. I'd love for her to go on a date sometime. Other historic characters who are out of their own time to figure things out with. And I really love throwing her at kind of grumpy/asshole type characters in a 'grouchy and cheery' pairing, so more of that would be great.

So, you know me, I'm always up for something. I kind of agree with the urge to build an ongoing narrative specific to Elizabeth, outside of "exploring and investigating Deerington, while reacting to events." It sounds like a good idea.

I don't think Vira-Lorr's a good romance option, for a wide variety of reasons. However, friendship angles work. Self-defense training, time at the library and I think VL would be open to participating in a drama group. She's not a very good life-coach, but she is good for fencing lessons and sharing the good times. Even better, if Elizabeth is looking for any sort of self defense lessons, VL has very obviously been carrying the rapier around with her this whole time, so she's presumably a possible teacher.

Character Name: Franciscus Erkens
Age: 19 Technically just a few months
Employment in Deerington: The flower shop, and F.E.A.R.
Residence in Deerington: 62 Cuckoo Hills Gated Community

Day to Day Activities: Working at the flower shop, or investigating things at the library. He can also be found at the F.E.A.R. headquarters with his Pokemon sometimes. Or hanging out with some of the friends he's made here.

About This Character: Franciscus is a Flying-type specialist Pokemon trainer, and a member of the International Police, working with his team to deal with a group called Humanity's Wake. He's bonded to a child of the legendary Shaymin, and dating his teammate, who some might call a mad scientist.

Or, well, that's the original Franciscus. This Franciscus is a clone of that with all his memories, who ended up in a virtual town called Cartesio where they were made to play the Sarge's game of murder. He did end up killing someone and being executed for it, but thankfully the living people were able to convince the Sarge not to finish his plan of corrupting all of them and instead let everyone go free. He still has two of his Pokemon, also clones, and he's living in the real town of Cartesio now.
Any Warnings: He was in a murdergame where he committed a murder and was executed by having his head bashed in. It's still a little traumatic for him, but he's not likely to bring it up. Also general cloning identity issues.

Present Life: (cw: suicide) Franciscus has constantly been in denial about his feelings for his friend Osomatsu, and with the latest event his child self has finally blurted it out. Unfortunately before he can talk about it as an adult he's going to end up seeing the pollen monster and being...indisposed for a while. Still, hopefully they'll be able to talk about it for real once he's back.
Future Ideas: More F.E.A.R stuff! As well as dealing with all these new feelings.

CR You Want: Would love to have someone end up learning more about what happened in Cartesio and the drama that might result. Also more people he can consider friends, and maybe some more kids/young teens for him to end up accidentally adopting.
