Her personality is divided into two sides that sometimes feel like two different people. There is the part of Justine that's strong and kind. This is the woman who loves to sketch, read and crochet. However, there is also the part of her that's affected by Borderline Personality Disorder and is handling her position as a sheep among vampires. Her emotions and personality traits can become chaotic and, at times, contradictory depending on the situation.
I decided that I wanted to put in Justine's appearance here too. She has long lean legs and is about 5' 4" without heels. Her face is lovely and sweet, often described as looking like the-girl-next-door. Her hair is raven black and long, falling in waves when it's able to lie freely. Her eyes are dark hazel though it's hard to determine their color outside of dark when looking at her from far away. Her skin is pale but lovely and lively. She's unconsciously beautiful and it's unclear if she realizes it.
➟ Character Powers: Justine doesn't have powers, however, she can read lips and I would love for that to come up at some point because it's fun.

➟ Positive CR Desired: Friends, casual sexual relationships or those okay with cuddling/other physical touching that could help ground Justine through her insanity, people to confide in and possibly one day trust, people to look after her or feel the desire to protect her when she does something stupid [we all have those moments] and anyone who might relate to her situation or bond with over being mortal in a supernatural world or messed up histories/pasts. I would like her to get to know people. In canon, Justine collects information while people don't realize it and while that information might never be used, I'd like her to start to learn things about people. I am also looking forward to see how things go. The masquerade will be great because Justine loves parties like that and will want to dance with everyone. I am up for anything as well but this is what I currently have as far as ideas go. ➟ Negative CR Desired: Those willing to deal with violence/dive into the brunt of Justine's mental issues. She has the tendencies to lash out and even hurt people if she isn't restrained or drugged. I'd like her to get a hold of drugs somehow and possibly develop a substance abuse problem, if anyone is interested in stopping or helping with that. I thrive on negative as well as positive CR, so don't be worried about disliking Justine or our characters not getting along. She sometimes plays around with the things she says and that can definitely annoy people. She's also used to mind games. I'd like her to die at some point and for someone to be there and possibly be affected by it. It's always more fun if it's a sad or stressful goodbye. Even if it isn't someone who knows Justine and just has a fear of failure and then fails and it ends in her death. I love meetings like that too. On the flip side, if you want Justine to be responsible for your characters death, either she ran away or tired to help but failed, I'd be down with that too. So come at me! I haven't made any firm plans for development or future plans and I try not to go too far forward until characters have met to see how their CR worked first but I am always happy to plan things. He's got a troubled past, but he's working on himself and he's finding peace within himself. He still carries a lot of baggage from his years of being brainwashed and used as an assassin, though, and he can be a little withdrawn at times. He feels a lot of guilt for what he's done and even though he wants to avoid fighting these days, he feels a responsibility to protect people when he sees someone in danger. ➟ Character Powers: He's got super strength/endurance/etc, but here he finds that if he relies on it for something, he's uncharacteristically exhausted or sore afterwards.

Eleven has been holed up her entire life except for maybe three days and she's 13 years old. First she was a lab rat in a government (?) facility being experimented on for her psychic powers, then she escaped and got hidden away in a cabin for another year. She has a lot of blank expressions, but she's learning how to socialize a bit at a time. She's hitting puberty and getting puberty emotions that she doesn't know how to control or understand or express. Her vocabulary is limited.
But now she's had a chance to interact with people and is learning how to trust and love and all that. Mostly she's just quiet while she absorbs the situations she's in until something piques her interest and she just sorta fearlessly does what she wants.
➟ Character Powers: Her mom took LSD (and other things) while she was pregnant with Eleven and so Eleven has telekinetic powers and stuff. She can move things with her mind, listen to people and echo what she's hearing through electronics, and can hone in on someone in particular and find where they are. Pretty nifty stuff. It just drains the hell out of her and gives her nosebleeds, so she doesn't do it too often.

As much as he's become a decent leader figure, he's still a 25 year old space college boy deep down, with a weakness for bad jokes, laser noises, and snowball fights. On the other hand, this guy is Not Okay. The Seen Some Shit kind of Not Okay -- he's dealing with a truckload of amnesia and a lot of PTSD symptoms stemming from being captured, used as a gladiator and then a science experiment. But hey. he's fine. its fine.

Richie is playful and obnoxious and a total class clown. His driving force seems to be the desire to convince everyone he's more mature than he actually is and get as much attention out of them as possible. He f-bombs all the time, makes cracks about his dick and Eddie's mother, and just won't stop talking until his friends tell him to shut up.
He's from the late '80s so his likes are a bit on the simpler side tech-wise. He likes old video games, pranks, and riding bicycles. He doesn't get to do those much here, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like 'em. Someday he'll get a video game system with Street Fighter ("...wait, there's a Street Fighter II?!") but for now, he'll just have to make do riding his bike around with Eddie and Bev.

➟ Character Personality: Desperado. Seth tends to have a gruff exterior. However, he does have a softer side for the opposite sex and survivors of abuse/neglect. The way he tends to win people over / gain forgiveness is his drive to do what's right, protect those weaker--even strangers. His CRAU is a more jaded version than he should be from his canon point due to losing a lot of close CR.
➟ Character Powers Abilities and Weaknesses: Very capable of defending himself with a firearm. Expert marksman. Skilled at taking apart and putting difficult-to-assemble guns back together. Seth might not have magic or supernatural powers but has survived multiple encounters with them which took more mental stamina than anything else.
Seth has a knack for reading people, able to tell when someone is lying. Physically, he can take quite a beating. His mouth has gotten him out of a few binds but has also put him into them. He is tenacious by nature and never surrenders regardless of the odds stacked against him. Loyalty is huge for Seth in canon and complicated life with his CRAU.
In canon, the man who stepped in to raise him and his brother after their father's death had taught the Gecko brothers a code--one which Seth believes kept him and Richie alive. Seth calls himself a criminal but more than once in canon talks about 'doing the right thing'. Canon also shows his vulnerability that he wont speak about; not wanting to be alone / needing to be loved.
That said, a big weakness are the people he cares about. The one time in canon that Seth is seen giving up a fight is when someone he cares about tells him to let go. He also loses himself when his brother chooses to go separate ways and goes into a rage against Richie when finding out from him that he’d used her and gotten Kate killed.

As a vampire, there will be frequent mentions of blood, death, and self-injury. Elena also has occasional thoughts of suicide (usually in past reflection) and major grief and survivor's guilt from losing most of her family. Right now she's also dealing with severe depression after being pulled away from the Nest to which she has a telepathic connection.

Elena has enhanced vampire abilities that include super speed, strength, agility, senses, and durability, as well as heightened emotions and the ability to turn off her emotions/humanity like flipping a switch. (I will most definitely be playing with that last one at some point.) She has an enhanced healing ability and her blood is usually able to heal others, though the effect is reversed in Deerington. (Anyone want to play with this?) She is able to mentally compel others, though this has consequences in Deerington, and her doppelganger blood has magical properties that can be used in certain types of magic. Finally, thanks to the alien symbiote in her head, she has even further enhanced abilities and the special ability to blood bend. More info on all of the above.

aside from his classic facial hair, tony currently has a repulsor battery (aka r.t. node) in the center of his chest. it's kind of like the equivalent of a man-made star and it's very shiny. it also runs his entire body and prevents him from going brain dead again with the help of the extremis virus (which is a bioelectric enhancile that transforms the human body into organic tech). long story short, he is basically a walking, talking, breathing computer. his mind can essentially connect to anything that can be linked or hacked into, so don't be too surprised if he goes hands-free with his comm. he is also able to mentally command his iron man suit which he keeps within the hollows of his bones at all time.

➟ Character Personality: Eddie is a soft good boy. He's a bleeding hypochondriac with a hell of a laundry list of problems (thanks mom). It's fairly arguable that he might have developed a form of psychosis at some point in his life (double thanks mom) and he definitely has paranoia and anxiety issues Big Time. He has severe crippling self-esteem issues (triple thanks mom) wherein he, even when being capable, will doubt his abilities. He's never gonna be the kid standing up and talking about how great he is. He just won't. Eddie is easily frightened, but truthfully, he might arguably be the bravest Loser when push comes to shove. When he can just let go of his mental barriers, he actually is really incredible and extremely brave. He will do anything for the people he cares about, and he cares deep. When Eddie decides he likes you? There's no return policy on those feelings. This is a boy who seems to feel everything at the MAX- which can be a bit intense at times, but God, this kid's heart is huge. He's cleverer than he gives himself credit for, faster, and braver.
On top of that, Eddie is also.......He's not a sweet, PG rated 12 year old. He's not even PG-13 rated. IT was rated R for a reason and it didn't just have to do with gore. Eddie has a MOUTH on him that's as bad as Richie's at times (there's a reason they're best friends) and lord will he use it. He can get involved in things 12 year olds probably shouldn't get involved in, and often times he will go headlong into dangerous situations because he honestly just doesn't trust adults enough to always ask for their help. At least when a situation is real serious. Great habit, right?

Sibling figures- yes pls. Older friends/protectors in general/etc- also yes please.

Negative CR is really easy to obtain with Eddie since he is paranoid and basically spent most his life being told he was useless whether by his mom or bullies at school. I realized recently that he might not ever be able to get to where he got in his old CRAU because there had been so many finely tuned situations and events that might never be replicated and a part of me really...wants to expand further with that. CRAU Eddie is...a lot more comfortable in his own skin. Comparatively speaking anyway- he'd still have a shitton of problems. He had only JUST started acknowledging his mental health so! He died at 18 but since then is basically in his 20s but...also..doesn't technically age? ➟ Character Personality: Kieren is a genuinely kind human being. He's very open-minded and intelligent, and he'll go out of his way if someone is in a tough spot. He can be sarcastic and snarky, but usually in very friendly ways with people he enjoys spending time with. Despite being a typically soft and kind sort of person, that doesn't mean he's got a ropey spine. This boy has nooo problem getting in someone's face if they are blatantly being awful. He is not impulsive AT ALL though. Instead, Kieren will calculate situations and try to decide what the best option at hand is. Sometimes that just involves shoving some bigot. That's not his fault.
Kieren is technically suicidal though he has since considered his second life a "second chance" but he is prone to lapses of depression, etc. This is not helped by the fact that the medicine he takes daily gives him a LOT of negative side effects that impact his overall mood. He has crippling self esteem. It is strongly implied that he had self-esteem issues prior to death, but they seem to have blown out entirely since dying. He is very uncomfortable with his death-status and aggressively wears (really heavy) make-up all the time as well as contacts. He even sleeps with his make-up on and contacts in. He's cold to the touch and he will make sure to not touch people skin-to-skin if he can help it.

A lot of Kier's flirting does tend to be more platonic and friendly than anything serious. Currently, Kieren is p convinced no one could want him so he's kind of closed the doors on himself for romance.......Not that that'll stop anything from happening aha. I decided that I wanted to put in Justine's appearance here too. She has long lean legs and is about 5' 4" without heels. Her face is lovely and sweet, often described as looking like the-girl-next-door. Her hair is raven black and long, falling in waves when it's able to lie freely. Her eyes are dark hazel though it's hard to determine their color outside of dark when looking at her from far away. Her skin is pale but lovely and lively. She's unconsciously beautiful and it's unclear if she realizes it.

I would like her to get to know people. In canon, Justine collects information while people don't realize it and while that information might never be used, I'd like her to start to learn things about people. I am also looking forward to see how things go. The masquerade will be great because Justine loves parties like that and will want to dance with everyone. I am up for anything as well but this is what I currently have as far as ideas go.
➟ Negative CR Desired: Those willing to deal with violence/dive into the brunt of Justine's mental issues. She has the tendencies to lash out and even hurt people if she isn't restrained or drugged. I'd like her to get a hold of drugs somehow and possibly develop a substance abuse problem, if anyone is interested in stopping or helping with that. I thrive on negative as well as positive CR, so don't be worried about disliking Justine or our characters not getting along. She sometimes plays around with the things she says and that can definitely annoy people. She's also used to mind games. I'd like her to die at some point and for someone to be there and possibly be affected by it. It's always more fun if it's a sad or stressful goodbye. Even if it isn't someone who knows Justine and just has a fear of failure and then fails and it ends in her death. I love meetings like that too. On the flip side, if you want Justine to be responsible for your characters death, either she ran away or tired to help but failed, I'd be down with that too. So come at me! I am also open to any ideas that anyone else has.

She's hitting puberty and getting puberty emotions that she doesn't know how to control or understand or express. Her vocabulary is limited.
But now she's had a chance to interact with people and is learning how to trust and love and all that. Mostly she's just quiet while she absorbs the situations she's in until something piques her interest and she just sorta fearlessly does what she wants.

He's from the late '80s so his likes are a bit on the simpler side tech-wise. He likes old video games, pranks, and riding bicycles. He doesn't get to do those much here, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like 'em. Someday he'll get a video game system with Street Fighter ("...wait, there's a Street Fighter II?!") but for now, he'll just have to make do riding his bike around with Eddie and Bev.

His CRAU is a more jaded version than he should be from his canon point due to losing a lot of close CR.

PowersAbilities and Weaknesses: Very capable of defending himself with a firearm. Expert marksman. Skilled at taking apart and putting difficult-to-assemble guns back together. Seth might not have magic or supernatural powers but has survived multiple encounters with them which took more mental stamina than anything else.Seth has a knack for reading people, able to tell when someone is lying. Physically, he can take quite a beating. His mouth has gotten him out of a few binds but has also put him into them. He is tenacious by nature and never surrenders regardless of the odds stacked against him. Loyalty is huge for Seth in canon and complicated life with his CRAU.
In canon, the man who stepped in to raise him and his brother after their father's death had taught the Gecko brothers a code--one which Seth believes kept him and Richie alive. Seth calls himself a criminal but more than once in canon talks about 'doing the right thing'. Canon also shows his vulnerability that he wont speak about; not wanting to be alone / needing to be loved.
That said, a big weakness are the people he cares about. The one time in canon that Seth is seen giving up a fight is when someone he cares about tells him to let go. He also loses himself when his brother chooses to go separate ways and goes into a rage against Richie when finding out from him that he’d used her and gotten Kate killed.

Upon entering Deerington, she's going to be trying to hide her vampirism, but will probably quickly realize that's easier said than done and may just say screw it all and start introducing herself as Elena Gilbert, Your Friendly Neighborhood Vampire.

Elena has enhanced vampire abilities that include super speed, strength, agility, senses, and durability, as well as heightened emotions and the ability to turn off her emotions/humanity like flipping a switch. (I will most definitely be playing with that last one at some point.) She has an enhanced healing ability and her blood is usually able to heal others, though the effect is reversed in Deerington. (Anyone want to play with this?) She is able to mentally compel others, though this has consequences in Deerington, and her doppelganger blood has magical properties that can be used in certain types of magic. Finally, thanks to the alien symbiote in her head, she has even further enhanced abilities and the special ability to blood bend. More info on all of the above.

➟ Character Personality: Eddie is a soft good boy. He's a bleeding hypochondriac with a hell of a laundry list of problems (thanks mom). It's fairly arguable that he might have developed a form of psychosis at some point in his life (double thanks mom) and he definitely has paranoia and anxiety issues Big Time. He has severe crippling self-esteem issues (triple thanks mom) wherein he, even when being capable, will doubt his abilities. He's never gonna be the kid standing up and talking about how great he is. He just won't. Eddie is easily frightened, but truthfully, he might arguably be the bravest Loser when push comes to shove. When he can just let go of his mental barriers, he actually is really incredible and extremely brave. He will do anything for the people he cares about, and he cares deep. When Eddie decides he likes you? There's no return policy on those feelings. This is a boy who seems to feel everything at the MAX- which can be a bit intense at times, but God, this kid's heart is huge. He's cleverer than he gives himself credit for, faster, and braver.
On top of that, Eddie is also.......He's not a sweet, PG rated 12 year old. He's not even PG-13 rated. IT was rated R for a reason and it didn't just have to do with gore. Eddie has a MOUTH on him that's as bad as Richie's at times (there's a reason they're best friends) and lord will he use it. He can get involved in things 12 year olds probably shouldn't get involved in, and often times he will go headlong into dangerous situations because he honestly just doesn't trust adults enough to always ask for their help. At least when a situation is real serious. Great habit, right?

➟ Side Notes: Kieren is kind of a zombie (don't use that word at HIM though) so I'd recommend reading his permissions to make sure you're down to interact with the dead. CW: Kieren DID die from a successful suicide, so that is something rather prominent about his character, although he does make a point to not try and mention it / make it obvious.

➟ Character Age: That....is complicated. He died at 18 but since then is basically in his 20s but...also..doesn't technically age? Cause he's dead.
➟ Where They Live: David Cliff 322, with Kieren Walker
➟ Where They Work: He's an art major at the college and prop designer for the theater.
➟ Character Personality: Kieren is a genuinely kind human being. He's very open-minded and intelligent, and he'll go out of his way if someone is in a tough spot. He can be sarcastic and snarky, but usually in very friendly ways with people he enjoys spending time with. Despite being a typically soft and kind sort of person, that doesn't mean he's got a ropey spine. This boy has nooo problem getting in someone's face if they are blatantly being awful. He is not impulsive AT ALL though. Instead, Kieren will calculate situations and try to decide what the best option at hand is. Sometimes that just involves shoving some bigot. That's not his fault.
Kieren is technically suicidal though he has since considered his second life a "second chance" but he is prone to lapses of depression, etc. This is not helped by the fact that the medicine he takes daily gives him a LOT of negative side effects that impact his overall mood. He has crippling self esteem. It is strongly implied that he had self-esteem issues prior to death, but they seem to have blown out entirely since dying. He is very uncomfortable with his death-status and aggressively wears (really heavy) make-up all the time as well as contacts. He even sleeps with his make-up on and contacts in. He's cold to the touch and he will make sure to not touch people skin-to-skin if he can help it.

RELATIONSHIPS DESIRED
➟ Positive CR Desired: Everything! Kieren is a bit of a loner, but he's also friendly and does enjoy making friends. He's good at making acquaintances and is always down to help. He is technically pansexual, though with a strong leaning towards men, so flirting might happen even if there's no real intention behind it with handsome men and pretty ladies. A lot of Kier's flirting does tend to be more platonic and friendly than anything serious. Currently, Kieren is p convinced no one could want him so he's kind of closed the doors on himself for romance.......Not that that'll stop anything from happening aha. He misses his sister like HELL so he might be drawn towards women who remind him of her and feel very strongly towards them in a familial sense. He will also be generally protective of children characters, but in a very stepped back kind of way. He is more the type of person to encourage kids to be themselves and I'd love to explore that.
➟ Negative CR Desired: Down for anything! Kieren is REALLY paranoid about people discovering his condition since he knows people may react with violence towards him. If anyone wants to explore their character wanting to hunt/hurt Kieren for just being a walking zombie essentially I'd be down!
➟ Important CR In Development: I haven't explored much with Kieren just yet unfortunately but he has gotten pretty close to Gansey recently.

➟ Character Personality: Majima may look and (initially) act like a rough-and-tumble sort, but successive interactions more often than not reveal an empathetic, thoughtful person with an unexpectedly soft heart. Majima loves karaoke, dancing, puns, knives, chainsmoking, being a supportive friend, and terrorizing punkass gangsters; he's also been through a lot lately, so Deerington may actually be a bit of a breather.
Once won, his loyalty knows no bounds.

RELATIONSHIPS DESIRED
➟ Positive/Negative CR Desired: Bowling, exploring weird 1950s American food, fighting monsters, exploring, drinking, smoking, morally grey conversations, slowly opening up about messed up backgrounds, discussing hopes/dreams/relationship troubles, characters who understand the savage joy of smashing their first into someone else's face. Yakuza itself is this weird, tonally dissonant mix of action/comedy/drama so all of that plus horror, of course! I'm up for both subtle character beats and disastrous action nonsense, probably even in the same thread.
In general, Majima has a soft spot for kids and enjoys listening to people who are honest about their dreams/aspirations. Open to relationship developments if things run that way, casual or serious (he's bi). I think it'd be interesting if he developed some really deep platonic attachments to characters because Majima can get super ride or die, and I would love some platonic friendship CR from female characters his age in particular, since they'd remind him of his hostess friends.
Majima will definitely be at that fancy Grady Hotel shindig, aww yiss.
➟ Important CR In Development: He's coming in fresh so nothing so far! Although some characters may end up having CRAU memories of him. Jury's out on whether I want to CRAU update him at all \o/
➟ Unwanted CR/Plots: I enjoy mutual CR that progresses and develops in new directions over time, so conversely, CR that is one-sided/one-note or doesn't really go anywhere doesn't really do it for me.
