ALANA BLOOM

Event Ideas: Alana is going to be infected by one of the slugs and turn into a big sister. I'm taking applications for little sisters/brother/siblings for her to go feral over, or for other people she can go feral against!

She's also going to wind up in the hospital with Sodder. I'm keen for her to be there with other people, if you want some CR! The monster she'll find there is Hannibal Lecter.

For the party, Alana's sin will be pride. Please tell her she's pretty and competent and a good psychologist who is helpful. She'll be using the opportunity to make people tell her their problems so that she can give them advice and fix their problems (because that will make people like her, right??)

STEVE HARRINGTON

Steve's got the mind control bug from the TDM prompt, so throughout this month he'll be following every direct order he's given. He won't take plasmids or get a slug, but I'm keen for him to interact with little siblings/feral adults because that sounds like a great time.

He's going to have a romantic soulmate link, but if you want an enemy/friend link let me know!!

At the party his sin will be envy. He's going to be VERY needy and get to the point of asking people for things just to keep them around. Please love him and don't leave him alone. Definitely don't tell him to leave you alone because that'll be Too Much.

Event Ideas:

general

Wrench is presently having a pretty awful time, after realizing that suppression of powers means that he actually needs to eat something and sleep once in a while. This is revolutionary news for the man, and has him feeling particularly vulnerable. Added to the fact that he's not at all keen on poorly-lit spaces, and the underwater pressure has him feeling like his head is going to explode, and you've got a recipe for a remarkably volatile guy.

He's also been reunited with his lifelong partner, Grady (Numbers). They were both amnesia'd on the Titanic, but have largely regained themselves and are working to reconcile the last five years of history, where Grady has been fucking dead and Wrench has been carrying on in his absence. It's rife with trauma, codependence, and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

This month he's staying in the Medical Pavilion and venturing out infrequently and with great trepidation. Kurt is very wounded, Logan is very missing (at the start), and this is all quite unlike the last six months that he's spent developing quite a life for himself in Deerington. He'll scavenge from time to time and will also be helping out with those in need of medical care, but otherwise it might be a slow descent into madness for Wrench as he gives in to some traumatic feelings and desires.

how rapture fell

Given Wrench’s absolute fascination with magic and superhuman abilities, he will definitely be messing around with the plasmids this month. I’m not sure quite how extremely I’ll be playing out the addiction side effects, but if anyone is interested in having an encounter with him pursuing and trying to injure your character as a Splicer, I’m more than willing to provide this former hitman using his new powers along with some of the other skills he’s largely set aside in Deerington to exact some pretty violent stuff.

little solutions and big problems

Since he plans to work along Vasiliy in the Medical Pavilion this month — and given that he’s relatively well-versed in field medicine — Wrench is available to provide all manner of surgery to those infected with slugs they’d like to evict. I’m happy to allow the surgery to be a great success or to have it end less-than delightfully if anyone is in the mood to subject themselves to botched medical drama.

For his part, I don’t think I’m interested in having Wrench enter this state.

I would love to deepen Wrench’s connection to choice CR through the Familial Soul Mates strings. I would also be delighted if anyone wanted to explore what abilities could be gained and shared through Platonic Soul Mates.

Event Ideas:

General
Fern will be doing a lot of scavenging and Splicer fighting this month, as he obsessively throws himself into his favourite pastime that also serves as a way to distract him from dealing with real life issues, dungeon crawling! After the events of the Titanic he'll also be generally sticking near Will Graham (or sometimes Kurt).

Little Solutions and Big Problems
As Fern won't be using any plasmids he won't be acquiring any addictive behaviours, but as he's currently lost most of his right arm I'd be down for someone convincing him to ingest a slug to heal and it just going horribly, horribly wrong. As he's 16 he'd turn into a Little Brother, so also open to any Big Sisters/Big Daddies.

Soulmates
I am absolutely down for soulmates! Since this is Fern I'm assuming he's way more likely to be attached to people via platonic, familial or enemy strings, so with the empathy and telepathy are a couple of unique things about Fern (also content warnings):

→Telepathy: Since Fern is technically two separate minds (Finn and the Grass Demon), the person he's attached to will be able to pick up on thoughts from both of them, and then the weird attempt to amalgamate them into one coherent thought, so... Fern's thoughts are a bit of a mess. The Grass Demon also has a tendency to latch onto any thoughts, regardless of whether they are from Finn, and negatively influence them.
→Empathy: Fern is extremely emotionally volatile and coming off last month where he tried to kill Peter Graham out of jealousy. His emotions are a complete shitshow and he has a looot of bloodlust.
→Because of the above Fern has a lot of problems identifying his thoughts and feelings as his own, so he has a confused lowkey identity crisis going on frequently.

Sodder's subconscious
Various forms of the Lich will be available as a monster! He's a spooky cosmic entity that kills people and wears them like skinsuits and wants to end all life in every reality, and even though Fern (as Finn) has defeated him several times he's still terrified of him. Fern (as the Grass Sword) is also partly responsible for dumping a Lich into every reality, so that's fun. Your character would likely be the one killing the Lich rather than Fern.

Masquerade
I have zero ideas for this since a lot of the negative effects are already parts of Fern's personality (l o l) but I'm open to doing stuff if someone has an idea! Fern would likely be envy or wrath.

Event Ideas: Little Sister Little Sister LITTLE SISTER!!!

So yeah I've been waiting for this opportunity pretty much the second Rapture was announced and I'm going to have Mary become a Little Sister. Hold still and let her free the slugs from your bodies it's for your own good. Or be a sibling/big sister/big daddy for her to latch onto, she will adore you and stick close by your side.

I'll also accept volunteers as well for anyone who wants to have their character killed by her, or maybe even try to remove the slug in her own body, or kill her?

As for the other prompts, I am super tempted by the party one, though I haven't decided yet what her state of being will be at that time given being a Little Sister, and if I wanna have her embodying pride or envy. (The former being the most tempting due to her trying to travel through mirrors like she would for paintings back home)

OOC Limits: I'm not going to be playing around with addiction or Little Sisters/Big Sisters. Neither Elena nor Derek injected themselves with Plasmids.

Elena will be in the medical pavilion, so she will be able to help anybody struggling with addiction through any withdrawal symptoms. She will also be open to helping anybody fight their monsters per Sodder. I am open to soul mates as well with her. She all ready has one platonic and one familiar soul mate. Her sin will be Pride.

Derek will be available to lock anyone away and suffering with them on the other side of a door while they go through any withdrawal. He will do what he can to best any monsters. He is soul mate free and I am 100% open to new CR for this, so come at me. He will also help, if need be, to remove anyone's slug from their systems. He was also bitten and burrowed, so if he is given a direct order, he will follow it. Derek's sin will be Envy because it tickles me to think anyone would want anything he has.

Guess who's been hanging out in the sewers. I mean, come on, it's a given. Maybe he'll make some Little Sibling friends- and bigger ones too given he's what, sixteen? He's not gonna be slug infested though so if he wakes up and finds someone trying to stick one on him he's smacking it and them. This must be a theme. Well, better smacked than sai'd?

I'll likely only keep track of strings I happen to have threads for but if you want to handwave that your character was tied to Wynonna via a certain string, we can definitely establish that happening at some point.
sodder's subconscious Wynonna will either be facing off against Bulshar, the demon who laid down the Earp curse, or Bobo Del Rey, otherwise known as the constant demon thorn in her boot and one of her most persistent enemies. I'm also willing to have her fight other people's monsters as well as her own; team up with her to face down your own personal demons! This is a case in which I'd love to have her interacting with new CR or strengthening existing CR if she hasn't done any kind of monster-fighting with them before. This is what she's best at; help her help you!
masquerading sins: MASQUERADE HELL YEAH. I'm leaning towards lust, pride or gluttony for her costume, but if you have any specific ideas for this, feel free to hit me up as well.

my soul knows you: Open to platonic, familial, and enemy soulmates for this. The more awkward, the better! I'd really love to do things with the telepathy or empathy aspects of this prompt, especially for characters that she's only semi-close to or even characters she's friends with but could inadvertently wind up becoming closer to as a result of knowing Feelings.
sodder's subconscious Dana's monsters will most likely be the zombie redneck torture family, the Buckners, from her canon, although I'm also tempted to have them wind up being twisted versions of her dead friends from home or folks from the Facility who are all ripped up and gross. MONSTERS TBD I GUESS BUT come at me for this. I would really love for her to woof out too, especially if it's in front of someone who doesn't know she's a werewolf or isn't expecting her to shift to fight (chances are she's not expecting it either)
masquerading sins: Leaning towards gluttony, sloth or envy for her costume, but I'm debating if I'll do anything for her on this WE'LL SEE.

my soul knows you: Open to platonic and familial soulmates for this. She only has one guy she'd be romantically attached to, it's gross and cute. But I would definitely love to do this with either new CR or CR that she's already becoming close to but needs more of a bump to move things along, especially now that she's not necessarily being as secretive with her toy status. sodder's subconscious I haven't decided what her monster will be personally, but I want her to do some fighty things! Let her be badass and help you with her shepherd's crook; she'll whack your enemy upside the head and trip them up a bunch and just be there to give you a hug afterward if you need it!

As for the other parts of the event, all three will be available to react/deal with/try and assist people dealing with certain symptoms but won't necessarily be experiencing those themselves. COME AT ME, BABES.

I'm open to any and all soulmates! There are nine soulmate slots for Hunk, since one will be tied to a character from his canon who is not in game, because he hasn't suffered enough.

Hunk has seen enough horror movies to know not to follow Sodder through the mysterious door and down the creepy dark hallway. That's how you die!

Crowley will pretty much be stumbling about Rapture. He's got a Romantic thread and a Familial thread, but that's all I've got planned for him so far. I think he's gonna stay out of the Sin stuff. His Sin would be Sloth? So, just kinda nah, on my part.

Dean:
I'm still not hard-set on deciding whether he's gonna be in Deerington or in Rapture. I think there's gonna be an enemy thread between him and Ruby? Possibly a familial thread between him and Sam. Maybe the kiddos? That's all up in the air depending on the muns. Just spitballing ideas. If anyone wants him somewhere specific, I'll drop him there.

I'm totally open for both continuing pre-existing CR and developing new CR, so hit me up if you want Crowley or Dean stuffs!

Desired CR: Looking for Logan to make a variety of contacts now that he's new to these parts! He's finding out he's got more dependents than he knew about & somehow still keeps acquiring more. I'd like to keep fostering the few relationships he made on the TDM (so if you've met him, let's do some more stuff!) by maybe reaching out IC but I'm also really excited to have him make more CR with other people too.

Looking into Logan getting a slug buddy, less by choice and maybe under someone else's influence (looking @ u sweete childe o' mine,) to improve his overall health for a little while. I'm still thinking on how much so, because I still want him to deal with his degraded state of being, but as a temporary reprieve I'm pretty game for it. Also interested in it being removed, surgically or otherwise, if that's anyone's cup o' tea for investigative purposes.

I don't think this would shift into him becoming a Big Daddy but I'll keep the door open as an option, tho I like the idea of playing with him being protective while hosting a slug or three. Going to play into the memory aspect & him dealing with detachment while a host as well.

Haven't decided if I'm going to indulge in this or not but as far as monsters go, the one that would come from this for Logan is the version of X-24 that totally made him eat shit back home. If I go this route, even with his full battery of powers he might still need some help in literally defeating himself.

I'm late as heck but I haven't been paying attention to app rounds and seeing an XMCU Logan had me like VIBRATES. :')

This lil asshole and the last movie version of Logan we had were awkward housemates with Laura for a while in-game, tl;dr he basically figured out she was in the mutant closet and bought groceries, she WON'T ADMIT IT but she's another of those Team Logan kiddos who had some reluctant paternal vibin' going on. I imagine you must be buried in cross-canon mutant types already, BUT. She would/could definitely have Logan as a familial string if you're interested in more kids who don't listen to him at all, LMAO.

Desired CR: people closer to his age to befriend, kids for him to adopt, people to call out his bullshit, people to annoy him, hero types for him to be at odds with, soldiers for him to form bonds with, friends to gradually form trust with, actual assholes for him to hate, etc etc.
Unwanted CR: romance is off the table because he's devoted to his girl. willing to have negative cr, but please discuss first!

Event Ideas:

LITTLE SOLUTIONS AND BIG PROBLEMS MAYBE FRANK MIGHT BECOME A BIG DADDY ... or maybe he won't. this depends entirely on the interest in this and the amount of kiddos becoming little siblings. he's already got a bit of a feral/protective personality so it'd be very easy for him to fall into this upon being slug'd in the night or something, so there's a potential for it if people want to play it out! if not, he's already a natural big daddy that's gonna try to protect his kiddos no matter what, little sibling or not.
MY SOUL KNOWS YOU frank will have a red string with wynonna, but otherwise, he'll be open to platonic, familial, and enemy strings with anyone else! this includes new cr that he hasn't had a chance to meet yet for some interesting meet up opportunities.
MASQUERADING SINS frank will likely be hit with wrath if anyone wants a rage boy to deal with.

Character Name: wanda maximoff

Desired CR: people for her to protect with her powers, those with powers for her to relate to, supportive friendships, familial relationships (especially sibling-like characters), anyone interested in magic, people to train with, etc.
Unwanted CR: she's currently in a relationship so no romantic cr, though i'm not against one-sided/complicated feelings. willing to have negative cr, but please discuss first!

Event Ideas:

HOW RAPTURE FELL wanda might fall into the trap of trying a plasmid or two, though she won't be falling too deep into the addiction to be anywhere near full splicer territory and she'll only potentially showcase a few symptoms like hallucinations, paranoia, and brief moments of memory loss. so people can potentially find her and try to steer her away from falling too into the temptation or she can catch herself and try to help others in turn.
MY SOUL KNOWS YOU wanda will have a red string with kai parker but i won't be opposed to romantic strings with others, including new cr, due to the hilarity of wanda constantly having a complex love life (though she's loyal in her current relationship). mostly though, i'd love any kind of platonic, familial, and enemy strings with existing and new cr.
SODDER'S SUBCONSCIOUS i'd love the explore the opportunity to have wanda be the enemy monster. this would make her more like her comic counterpart too in terms of overpowered abilities as something challenging for people to try to fight off (essentially like a crazed house of m version). this could either be people fighting her one-on-one or fighting alongside the real wanda herself depending on how people want to play it out, but i'd love for wanda to face it on as well.
MASQUERADING SINS wanda is likely to fall into either pride or envy.

Solutions/Problems: While I'm open to the idea of Minako ending up a Big Sister, it's not something I'm likely to go through with unless someone or someones are really into it. (Meaning I can be persuaded to put up a custom starter for someone or tag into a top level for it.) She's more likely to try and avoid the gross slugs.

Soulmates: Ha. Ha ha ha. I'm honestly most interested in playing around with this (and whatever consequences pop up as a result). Currently, there are five of the ten slots up for grabs for new or existing CR, in whichever combination ends up happening, because the girls and Kunzite are absolutely a thing. Because her life is suffering.

Sodder's Subconscious: Unless she's actively chasing someone down to try and stop them, this is unlikely to happen.

Dumbass did inject himself with one plasmid, though I still have to decide WHAT plasmid. As a result, Venkman'll be dealing with the consequences of his actions, but he's also not going to have it as bad as most people- he only injected himself with one plasmid, and he'll realize pretty quickly that seeking out more ADAM is. A Bad Idea. He will be suffering from the side effects- nausea, paranoia, and aggression- but won't reach the point of becoming a Splicer. He may try to get the ADAM/plasmid removed once he realizes what's going on, if anyone can point him in the right direction to get medical help!

As for the strings... As soon as Venkman realizes what the red strings mean, he's going to become a whole lot more of a homebody, because he's got three red ones- two extremely pale ones leading where he can't follow, and one very vibrant, bright red one leading right to Ray. This is not how Venkman wanted to have that information come out- in fact, he was planning to keep this shit under lock and key for the rest of his life, thank you very much-, and by God, he's gonna make a valiant effort to keep a lid on this little detail for as long as possible. Whether or not he succeeds is... debatable.

I am absolutely up to giving him more soul mate strings of any color- though if it's red, I'd like to discuss that further first- with both new and existing CR!

Venkman will find his costume pretty close to the end of his time in Rapture. I'm genuinely not sure what sin I'll go with for Venkman- frankly, you can make a pretty valid case for him and every sin except maybe envy or gluttony. And even then, if you stretch it a little... That said, he'll probably wind up as either Wrath or Lust.

I don't have any solid ideas in mind yet for anything not mentioned here, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be up to, say, something involving the slugs! HMU if you have any ideas or questions you'd like to bounce off of me.

Of course, it's not always easy, and she's bound to at least hurt a few people trying to keep them from ripping her open for ADAM. For strings, she'll have a few blue strings going out of Rapture to represent her ties to Newt, Bishop, and Hicks following the events of Aliens, but if you'd like to discuss other strings, please reply to this post!

Most importantly, I will have a prompt with Ripley fighting a xenomorph in Sodder's subconscious during later February. Although it's still somewhat tentative right now, I would love if Ripley were to die for the first time in Deerington via dream xenomorph. She'll be caught off guard and although she'll do her best to fight in the void, it'll come the point where she will no longer be able to defend herself. If you'd like to be present for her death and fight some xenomorphs while you're at it, we can discuss the details and I'll include a closed prompt for you! I'd prefer if pre-established CR were there instead of new CR. Obviously, only one person, but I could also have a separate prompt in the middle of the battle with the xenomorphs that would be open to others.

I don't have any ideas for strings, but if you'd like to talk about something, please feel free! He probably won't have any red threads going anywhere. Sad. He will be attending the masquerade! So that's fun. It's the only excuse I'll have to dress Kim up for this game, okay? The sin that I'll be going with for him will be Pride, because who doesn't love that?

Vira-Lorr specific: We can easily go for general survival stuff with either of your characters and her, but if you want to do a Xenomorph scene, Vira-Lorr will very much go into "Not this crap again!" which could lead to conversation given that she's already faced them (and died via Facehugger, getting the chance to enact vengeance when it came back months later) here.

She'll probably use a rivet gun to survive the encounter on her end, though if you like acid-blood incorporated in death that's perfect given that the rivet gun is kind of messy.

Logan's sort of lost himself since arriving in Rapture so that's a plot I intend on continuing with him. "Adopted" by the first Little Sister who found him, she's intent on turning him into her own personal protector— a custom built Big Daddy.

If you'd like to run into him while he's a little forgetful and weirdly focused on the bidding of this dead-eyed little girl by all means!

He'll be shuffling around mindlessly looking for supplies and like— he might even try to take yours if he thinks they're useful enough.

Little Solutions Big Problems

I anticipate no shortage of trips to the medical pavilion this month. Either because of splicers attacks, injuries sustained while protecting his new Little Sister, or merely because his friends don't know what to with him while he's under the influence of the slug. And eventually that slug is going to have to come out. When and how it does is bound to be messy so CW warning for gore on that stuff. When this happens, he'll be back to his regular slug-less self. Which in Rapture means no healing. Suffice to say he might be terribly out of commission after this point and if you can tolerate a lot of brooding and moping around, I'd love to let anyone see a more vulnerable side of the old meat-sheild.

My Soul Knows You

He's withholding, skeptical and untalkative on the best of days so I'm really willing to explore this one with anybody who might kinda know him or kinda not get along with him. Anything that forces empathy and thought sharing could be a great way to make amends, or make close friends out of acquaintences. Super up for exploring this.
