Greetings, Deerington! My name is Jeeps, and I’m here with Steve Rogers and his beard of perpetual sadness, both from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (I wanted to just app the beard but apparently it's not an "appable" "character"). I mean. You probably know who he is, but he's an old man who started out smol and got swol back in the 1940s to kick Nazi ass and then got frozen in the arctic for 70 years and ever since getting out of that situation he's just been fed up with everything. For the last couple years he's been on the run from the government via flying around in a quinjet with his pals without regular access to washing machines, so that will be one benefit to this place. And he'll be coming in post-snapture because, uh. Uh. /sweats

I'm working on getting a proper info post up and looking nice, but for now his app can be found here with all of the relevant info (including permissions and dat tat). He'll be waking up in Dunwich Hollow on Dorian Circle because you do actually want this guy as one of your first lines of defense, and his job is TBD. Hi there! I'm Tetra and this month I'm bringing in Majima Gorō from Yakuza 0, as well as Rohan Kishibe from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure!

Majima's an ex-criminal who likes singing, video games, snazzy suits, being a neighborhood fixture, and violence. He's joined F.E.A.R. as a Weapons Specialist/Patrol, as one of his specialties is dishing out the hurt and believe it or not, he's even fought zombies and monsters ^{although that wasn't strictly canon}. His CR Meme post is here.

Rohan really only cares about two things: ART and SPITE. He's accepted a position as an art professor at the college, though I guess adult/child characters would still be able to take his classes through adult learning/special kids' programs or something. Expect a world-class artist who also licks spiders in his free time because ART.

Hi everyone! I'm Marlowe, and I'm bringing in Adam Parrish from the Raven Cycle, aka Teen Magician from That Series With Unsupervised Teenagers Doing Magic Including Rather a Lot of Tree-Based Necromancy. He comes from an abusive background and has a large chip on his shoulder over needing to prove his worth and not need anything from anyone. He'll be coming in at the end of the series (but pre-Opal), and he's 18, just a few weeks short of 19.

Adam will be a student at Deerington Community College, double-majoring in Pre-Law and Engineering, and (unofficially) minoring in What's Going On Around Deerington. He lives in the dorms. I can be found on plurk at marlowe_tops or discord at Marlowe#2340. I'm excited to play with everyone!

Hello! My name is Lins and I'm bringing in Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow aka that one movie Marvel keeps dragging their feet on making from the Marvel Cinematic Universe! In case you don't know, Natasha is a former Russian Spy slash Assassin turned semi-reluctant superhero in the service of the United States except for the part where she defected from the US too and now runs around with a man who used to wear a flag on his chest and a man who talks to bird shaped drones. Thank God Steve can do his laundry, now. I'm bringing her post the events of Infinity War because (semi truck drives by, blaring horn), so if you need or want me to avoid spoilers let me know! I default to not avoiding them, however.

She doesn't have a job yet because I'm trying to ICly justify making her work at the theatre as a ballerina and she lives with Steve on Dorian Circle in Dunwich Hollow, because who else do you want on the front lines aside from someone who can choke you out with her thighs? hey everyone! i'm zelly and i'm bringing in peter parker from mcu to this lovely environment to toughen my son up a little. mmhm.



most people are familiar with spider-man in some way, shape, or form - but for those who have managed to avoid this overexposure (SAVE YOURSELF!!!), this here is a 16 year old, cinematic version of peter parker / spider-man, a marvel superhero who gets his powers from a radioactive spider. he can do whatever a spider can - only maybe a teeny bit less so while here. he's coming in post-homecoming, so he's still pretty green to the whole avengers / superhero gig and is still getting into the swing (heh) of things.

i'm really stoked to be here. this game has been intriguing me from the get-go but it took me a little while to settle on who i wanted to bring in - and now i'm here and i am READY. if you're up for a tiny spider ruining your life with earnestness and good vibes and an extreme try-hard attitude, i'm here for all your needs. feel free to plot with me over on plurk (thwip) or discord (spidey#2716). looking forward to shenanigans!

hey everyone! i'm carlee and i'm brand new here and i'm bringing you max guevara from james cameron's short-lived foray into television, dark angel. if you're not familiar with the show (probably not), she's a genetically engineered human who was designed to be the perfect soldier and has not one, but two escapes from that facility under her belt. in the most recent one, she took everyone with her, and at home she's been dealing with the fallout from that, a bigger problem than anticipated since there are a lot of transgenics who don't look like her, and there's been some backlash against them, thanks to a 500+ old breeding cult that believes transgenics are getting in the way of their plans for world domination and general xenophobia. so, bonus: the monsters here may not freak her out as much as they might some others.

she's gonna be living with elena gilbert in dunwich hollow and putting her training to more use than cat burglary, that aside i haven't been able to figure out a solid job placement yet but i thought it could be interesting for her to be a bouncer, since the fact that she's a transgenic is already gonna be out there (something that's gonna take some getting used to for her, since she's been hiding that for most of her life). FEAR is another interesting option, since she'll also want to know what kind of creatures they'll be dealing with.

Hellooooo, Deerington peeps, it's a pleasure to be here in your fine establishment!! I'm Shira and I've been eyeing this game for. A while. Some of you TQP players may remember me as Jake from The Dark Tower I'm excited to crash the party and gently touch new and old friends alike!!!

I'm bringing in the dork master featured above, Josh Hoberman from The Magicians. Josh should... really come with a content warning for every terrible life choice he makes, I'm sorry. He's a fun-loving, fast-talking friendly neighborhood 20-something magician attending magic school with a specialty in nature magic. Hobbies include cooking, partying with Bacchus, growing and consuming more magical drugs than should be humanly possible, occasionally ruling kingdoms, and describing in excruciating detail his threesomes with non-human creatures. For the most part he's harmless... aside from maybe on the full moon, oops. Look, he didn't know you could become a werewolf from banging one. IT'S A MILD CASE, OKAY, IT'S FINE, HE'S FINE. Anyone got a werewolf-proof cage, please call him.

In canon he just finished thinking magic was gone from his world forever, only to successfully bring it back in time for his canon's version of Psychotic Hermione and Alcoholic Dumbledore to pull a double cross and roofie him with a potion. He's going to be stoked he has magic, but going to assume all the rest of this fucked up shit is the potion at work. He's just so tired, dudes. Thank god he never goes anywhere without his bong, he's going to need to self-medicate because of all this stress. What do you mean weed's illegal? Ugggh.

Hellohello! I'm Axael and I'm bringing in Daemon Sadi from the Black Jewels. Please be gentle with me, I'm a bit of a shy bean. :)

Daemon's world is one where everyone's psychic and they all have a whole panoply of psychic powers to go with, most of which are going to go pretty well haywire in Deerington. He's got a pretty epic temper, is trained as a leader, and is not too shabby of a businessman. He's also trained as a Black Widow, which means he's got a handle on poisons, dreams, prophecy, and altered states. At least when he's awake. :D He's like 1800 years old (I know) and his backstory's got an unhealthy amount of abuse it. But he likes to dance, read, go to the theatre, and investigate the unusual. I've nipped him from near the end of his story arc at a point where he's about a decade and a half past the death of his wife. He's fairly reserved about himself, but he has a great deal of interest in the others he's dreaming along with.

I've put him in a big fancy house on West Main, though I'm still waffling about what I want him to be doing for his job. Hit me up if you want to plot or rp or anything at all! moira is a mad scientist who focuses on genetics and how to make people badass, but mostly she just fucks them up beyond repair and spends the next decade trying to fix it (sorry, reyes). she's bitchy, doesn't particularly care about ethics or morals and will even run experiments on herself just to get the results she wants, but she's also not gonna fuck you up without good reason so don't lose too much sleep at night. she's coming in pre-recall, working as a minister in oasis and serving on the board of an international terrorist organization who she doesn't necessarily agree with, but they pay her big money to do anything she wants, so she just kind of goes with it.

please hate her, she lives on negative energy.

Hello everyone here at Deerington! My name is Sarah and I am bringing to you one brilliant doctor and scientist: Angela Ziegler, who also goes by the call name Mercy. She is from the video game Overwatch. A couple things to note about her, she's got one pretty strong moral compass and a tiny bit of god complex because she pretty much never wants to see anyone die. She may come across as sweet and innocent but she can also make you regret everything you have ever done. She has a guardian angel thing about her right down to the angelic wings and halo of her battle outfit. You are most likely to find her treating patients in the hospital or healing the innocents who are hurt in battle. She comes in during recall and is battling some confusion on where her life is headed, so this won't help. She's also extremely protective and nurturing, so if anyone needs support she's your gal.
