Character Name: Castiel
Age: Old as dirt, his vessel is in its early 30's.
Employment in Deerington: None, unless you call his protective streak with of a local beehive employment.
Residence in Deerington: He spends a lot of time with the beehive. He has no actual place of residence.
Day to Day Activities: Watching over the bee's and helping souls who reach out or seem to need an ear to listen.

About This Character: Castiel is an angel of the Lord. He's a soldier, no bullshit type of angel who started an angel rebellion against a corrupted Heaven. He's not here to perch on your shoulder and won't interfere with issues of morality. God gave humanity free-will to let them decide their own fates. Whether you're bound for Heaven or Hell is entirely on you. Unless there's an agent of Hell whispering in your ear to sway you, he won't interfere with the choices of mortals. He also tends to respond to people who reach out for advice (pleas of the soul) and will often speak with those who seem to need someone to speak to, but he's no priest!

Any Warnings: He's an angel, so ideas of God and general Judeo/Christian references will come up.

Present Life: He's a little isolated (living with the bees and all) so I've been trying to get him more involved with others. Typically, this consists of speaking with lost souls more than anything. He's a soldier and works under the guise that he's there to protect others, so going in to fix a problem, then moving on. He's not the type to forge connections on his own, and won't reach out to others without a reason. So, characters that excel at forging connections are most welcome! Otherwise, he's more like an angelic drifter.

Future Ideas: Form friendships, befriend morally grey (or villainous) characters. I love intellectual conversations or conversations on morality and just about anything that might question his world view. He's always open to new CR since he considers everyone a creature of God and therefore is fond of them even the morally questionable types.

CR You Want: Friendships. People he can clash with. There's not many things that will get under his skin, but I invite anyone to try. Someone he can form a bond with to speak to late at night. And prayers! If you say his name to an empty room (or a non-empty one) he will hear you. Just drop me a line in his inbox and he will randomly show up to answer the 'prayer'.

About This Character: Bakugou is a controlled explosion. He's the embodiment of passion which comes out in the form of anger that he uses to propel himself toward his goal of becoming the number one hero. At a glance, he comes off as a hot-head, but his passion isn't clouded by anger but fueled by it. His stubborn, brazen personality does little to endear him to others. Those that stick around often realize he has a hard time socializing with others because he's terrible at expressing himself. He's very good at dismantling others' quirks and personalities in order to better crush them, but it's only when he puts forth the effort to hold back his anger in order to listen to them that he comes to understand them. That still doesn't mean he'll suddenly be nice - he won't! He tends to show he cares in more subtle ways. He's a tough-love type of character that will run you over if you're not careful.
Any Warnings: #Katsuki yells a lot. #Inferority Complex. Don't you dare look down on him or he'll lose it. Similarly, he doesn't need to be protected!

Present Life: Nothing major or important. Katuski is just here living his best hero life and blowing shit up.
Future Ideas: Get this guy a buddy, omg. He's so annoying when he's on his own. Gives him too much time to think. He needs someone to bounce off of in order to do dumb shit and act his age.

About This Character: amara is a siren, which means she's one of only 6 women from her home universe that have super cool magic space powers. they're basically overpowered as hell as a character trait and tend to get involved with vault hunting, because sirens especially are drawn to it for mystical space magic reasons. she spent a good decade working as a superhero on partali (her home planet) and enjoyed fame and fortune until she realised no-one could or would face her in a fight anymore. she left and joined the crimson raiders, a group of mercs who generally try to help people.

Day to Day Activities:
- Working at the Library.
- Training with Helena in the evenings.
- Visiting the horse that has claimed him and who hangs out around the greener parts of Deerington.
- Talking to the robot friend he made during May/June and who was not able to escape the glass dome. It hangs out vaguely around Blackwood Run.
- Preparing for a variety of apocalypse scenarios.
- He is generally very much a homebody when he's not at work or getting things for the house/apocalypse preparations, and can be seen more often talking to things that are not human than actual humans.

About This Character: On the surface, Martin is friendly, if a bit awkward and nervous. He can trip over his words sometimes, but he tries very hard to be supportive and empathetic. Getting past that surface level can be a challenge as he general tries to keep people at arm's length out of habit. In a crisis situation, he can become more confident and assertive, doing his best to keep people safe and taking calculated risks. Those who dig in and really get to know him will find that Martin is still a very kind man, but he can be snide and a little high-strung, very focused on planning and trying to control as many variables in the world around him to protect his loved ones. He's also incredibly lonely and suffers from a more mundane sort of depression that results in occasional spells of apathy that he has to force himself to bull through and remember why and how he cares.
Any Warnings: Martin is from a horror canon and has had a lot of horrific things happen to him! The most likely to come up are emotional manipulation/abuse, isolation, abandonment, depression (both supernatural and mundane), memory manipulation and loss, claustrophobia, character death, apocalypse, body horror, and disorientation/reality warping.

Present Life: Martin lives with his eldritch bf, Jonathan Sims and his dead coworker, Sasha James. His main goals are surviving, keeping the people he cares about alive, and preparing for the next thing that's going to try to kill them... around more mundane chores. While he's supportive of research efforts, he's choosing to focus on keeping everyone else going rather than delving too deeply, into things, himself. Someone needs to keep a level head and he's surrounded by people who get obsessive about research! He can most often be found at the library or out shopping for supplies. He's also focused on finding and destroying Leitners, cursed books that have turned up around town from his canon!

Future Ideas: When things are not quite as dire... Martin is actually an amateur poet! I'd love for him to get strong-armed into participating in a poetry-reading night. On the more plotty side of things, I'm going to be saving up to get him a story clue to force him out of his comfort zone in just supporting other people in plot stuff. Martin is also probably going to be getting a bit jealous of Jon's growing friendships with other people in the coming months. He tries to keep a lid on it, but if your character is friendly with Jon and you want someone being snippy... he can provide.

CR You Want: Friends! Martin needs more friends. He's got some friendly acquaintances going and I'd like to deepen those and reach out for more. On the flip side... give Martin some enemies. He's good, but he's certainly not perfect, and being that Jon is his boyfriend... well. I'm sure people can draw some conclusions about the sort of man that he is from that.

Age: 165+
Employment in Deerington: still unemployed lmfao. i really need to work on that.
Residence in Deerington: 28 main street
Day to Day Activities: while unemployed, stefan does his best to stay busy. he's a good mechanic so you can find him fixing up his car in his driveway or even doing repair work to his house. he goes out often enough, making sure he's well stocked on liquor and having the occasional drink at a bar.

at night, you might catch him near the hospital because he does take blood from the blood bank because he's a vampire and all. he doesn't like to drink from the vein unless he's off the rails and no one wants that to happen.

About This Character: stefan's a vampire who was born in 1864 and was turned by one katherine pierce, who is both in game and who he's dating. they have a long, complicated history and they've gone through bouts of hating each other and not hating each other. they're good now.

he also has a blood addiction, which sucks for a vampire, wherein if he drinks too much from a human, he'll turn into a ripper which basically means he'll try and kill you and eat you. he's sought some help with that but it's an ongoing process.
Any Warnings: stefan's been through some shit so he comes with warnings for: violence, blood, torture, mental manipulation, death, ptsd, drowning, doppelgangers, psychological trauma, depression, and such.

Present Life: stefan's having a crappy time during the event, thanks for asking! he's got a truckload of guilt that's manifested as his ripper self so if anyone wants to deal with a really violent vampire part of him, he's there. he's also busy fighting robots and working out some of his issues through violence like the healthy person he is.

he's happy in his personal life as he has a girlfriend and he has a house and he has friends and he's able to kind of live for himself. he's still worried that it's going to fall apart but he's good for right now.

Future Ideas:

• job: i need to get him some kind of job because he doesn't like to be idle.
  
• blood addiction: he's going to keep working on this. he can't go off blood totally but he's going to try and get himself to where he doesn't drink human blood from the vein again or that it won't send him spiraling.
  
• deal with ptsd: stefan has a lot of deep seated issues dealing with having spent three months in a safe that was dumped in a lake where he drowned over and over for three months. he's still getting over it. trying to.

I would absolutely love that!!! The reason he's sort of drifting is that he's sort of stuck on the sidelines with no one to really understand him. Present Life: In canon, she's just been brought back to life, lost a few friends and her robot boyfriend. So.... a lot of finding her purpose in a world that has been going for five years while she was thanos-dusted. And now she's here!!

Day to Day Activities: amos is a very keep to himself person for the most part. he goes to work every day and he tools around with various projects while he's there. when he goes home, he tends to stay there. sometimes, he'll go out and have a drink, have some food or he'll go over to addy's, possibly.

you're not going to find himself in the middle of parties or anything like that. his idea of fun is shooting things and maybe sparring with people that are at his skill level when it comes to fighting.

About This Character: amos is a mechanic from sometime in the future. he was born on earth but got out of there when he could. he's surly and grumpy and not particularly good around people. he can sometimes come off as a sociopath and he embraces that. sometimes. he's gotten a little softer with his time in deerington and his recent canon update but he's still likely to tick people off.

he's an excellent mechanic, a brutal fighter, and a good shot with a gun. he has several rifles tucked away at his home.
Any Warnings: amos comes with warnings for: violence, assault, guns, prostitution, child prostitution, child trafficking, drinking, and language.

Present Life: right now, amos is coming off a pretty big canon update where he lost his sight but recently recovered it. he's very pleased about that. but he's right back into the event where he's dealing with his massive feelings of guilt that he's been busy pushing down and ignoring. he's also dealing with rumors that basically call him a stone cold killer and he's basically been shrugging those off.

Future Ideas:

• ship building: even though amos knows this is a dream, he's still going to try and build a ship with things he finds around town. he's started on the engine and he'll go from there. so, anyone wants to help, feel free.

About This Character: Robin is a seventeen year old ice-cream-slinger-turned-amateur-spy from Hawkins, Indiana! Back home, she successfully infiltrated a Russian military base and learned about the weird supernatural stuff going on in her town. She’s smart, snarky, nerdy and good for a laugh, but she’s also got some deep-seated insecurities about her sexuality that often lead her to keep people at a distance.
Any Warnings: Robin’s past includes internalized and external homophobia and some torture — I can all of these pretty easily, just lmk!

Present Life: Back home, Robin was only able to scratch the surface of the weird stuff going on in her town, but now that she’s in Deerington, she very much wants to understand its mysteries. She goes to the high school every so often, but now that two of the adults in her house have left town, she’s more interested in looking for a job.
Future Ideas: I’d like Robin to be involved in the overarching Deerington metaplot more, would love for her to come out of her shell, and just have more opportunities for to be a hot mess.

Day to Day Activities: You can find Gerard working at the high school, running errands at various shops, occasionally scouring bookstores for anything that looks suspicious, and playing his music in his apartment waaaay too loudly.

About This Character: Gerard is a big intimidating goth with a heart of gold who got swept up in eldritch supernatural Nonsense as a child and has been trying to make his place in the spooky underground ever since. Gerard is the type of person who really wants to connect with others, but can be shy/feels like an outsider a lot. His primary drive is to help people avoid the traumatic, supernaturally-involved lifestyle that got forced upon him.
Any Warnings: Gerard’s past includes child and spousal abuse, terminal illness, gore, and assisted suicide — I can avoid all of these in our threads, so please let me know if you’d like to opt out on any of this!

Present Life: Gerard is still fairly new to Deerington, so he’s still settling in! His month is pretty tied up in dealing with the fact that his friend is a walking disaster (thanks jon sims!), and next month he’ll be dealing with all that fallout, plus having a birthday.
Future Ideas: I’m planning on having Gerard opening up a tattoo shop! Overall, I’d like him to get settled in into the day-to-day life and community of the town, and experience that nice community/solidarity feeling he never really got in canon.

Day to Day Activities: Arya hangs out and trains at F.E.A.R. a lot, and often can be found hunting/training in the woods! She also loves Peter’s pizza, and you can find her hanging out there, judging everyone in her tween way.

About This Character: Arya is a plucky tomboy with a sword who has Been Through Some Shit, notably living through a war, being a fugitive, and taking refuge with a cult. She’s fierce and loyal and has a strong sense of justice, but also slow to trust and prone to stab first, ask questions later.
Any Warnings: Arya comes with a whole bunch of content warnings, including child abuse, war-related violence and torture, death of family members/parents, and heavy cult involvement/brainwashing. Some of these are hard to avoid in her introspection, so please chat with me about your limits OOCly if any if these are an issue, and we can work something out. The permissions post on her journal also doubles as an opt-out, and please feel free to opt-out if her character or canon makes you feel uncomfortable in any way.

Present Life: Arya is having a pretty heavy month this July. She’ll be falling into despair, committing a murder, and then going into hiding to avoid a trial, but dealing with the corresponding despair letdown/guilt that comes from her crime.
Future Ideas: Arya has a lot of trauma she's healing from, and I'd like to continue that. Her murder will really shake her up, and she'll be dealing with whether or not she's becoming the person she wants to be, and she'll also be dealing with the extent to which her former cult still has a hold on her.

-Found family! She’s dealing with the loss of her own, and while she’s slow to trust, once your character gets close to her, she’s very ride-or-die
-Arya is curious by nature, so people to teach her about their worlds/the modern world
