Personal Style: Action by default, but will prose. I'm a slow to medium tagger. I backtag; I tend to keep a thread going as long as it has some momentum and as long as it hasn't dwindled into small talk. You can always hit me up if something is "old". Sometimes I do drop stuff, though, but I tend not to make it a habit! Work has also been keeping me a bit busier than expected.
OOC Limits: Teeth trauma and anything to do with graphic violence against animals. I'm generally okay with most things but I do pick and choose my body horror.

Katerina Petrova.Katherine Pierce.Age: Physically 19, now 547.
Employment in Deerington: Owner of Petrova Apothecary! Looking for some peeps to help out.
Residence in Deerington: 28 Blackwood Run, Brahms… and 28 Main Street (Stefan's house! 🤭)
Day to Day Activities: Working at her apothecary, window shopping, shoe shopping, yoga, reading, going to coffee shops, and walking around town. She's been hanging out at Stefan's place a lot.
About This Character: Katherine has been on the run for over 500 years. She has 1,001 walls, is incredibly strategic, and will throw anyone under the bus if it means her own survival. (She really needs a reason for the latter.) With that said, Katherine's funny and charming, incredibly intelligent, and very personable. She's a penguin—give her a reason to give a shit and she's there. (She will drive a bus over you if you do piss her off, though.)
She does have terrible self-esteem deep, deep down due to a buttload of trauma. She's a mother and she's slowly starting to acknowledge it for herself, and she likes to adopt people and then kill for them. ☺️
Any Warnings: Permissions post. | PTSD, family loss (family was slaughtered to punish her), loss of her baby (never got to hold her or name her, thanks Papa), psychological trauma, murder, suicide, survivor's guilt, shitty taste in men, and mind control. She's also a vampire so she leans very heavily on that.
Present Life: Katherine's been busy reliving her trauma and everyone else's. She's living her best sexy life with Stefan Salvatore (WHO IS HER BOYFRIEND BTW). She's in a good place mentally and emotionally and is very, very slowly knocking down her walls and dealing with a lot of her own trauma. She's really opened up over the last few months.
As for the current event, she's being bombarded with rumours about things she already knows about herself but secretly has trouble accepting as actions that she's done. She's feeling the weight of her guilt for her actions that she writes off as being ones made for survival, and is helping a few people out.
Future Ideas: Continue strengthening established CR and building new connections!

Katherine always needs someone to help carry boxes and move things, and Buffy seems like she has the strength for it. (Why call on a man when you can get a woman to do it better?) Especially if Buffy did display her non-human girl abilities in some capacity, maybe it could get them talking about how they're not Muggles?
Also, they can talk about how they sacrificed themselves for their own personal reasons when (there's no such thing as IF here) they get closer to bffdom!

Age: 29.
Employment in Deerington: Look!!! I don't know yet. He's a wannabe C.S.I.
Residence in Deerington: 1439 Gaitlin Drive, Clarke Acres.
Day to Day Activities: Barry is eating his way through Deerington. When he's not doing that, he's at the bookstore speed reading, people-watching, and walking around. He's also housing horses on his property because why not???
The Flash is active in Deerington, so you're welcome to see streaks of golden/yellow all throughout town at any point during the day and night! The Flash does seem to hit up Clarke Acres a lot… I wonder why… 👀
About This Character: Barry is a literal golden retriever puppy. He's very positive, has a really good and intoxicating vibe about him, and he is just literal sunshine. He's deeply traumatised by the murder of his mother at the hands of his arch-nemesis, Eobard Thawne, who is a man centuries into the future who took being a super stan of the Flash a little too far. Barry is a do-gooder and someone who wants to help people, and will do everything in his power to do that. He is emotionally constipated, but he hides it well. He is the best person to have on your team.
Debbie Downer stuff: He's from 5x01 where he just meets his daughter and learns he is gone from her life (and from Iris' for 25 years) after he vanishes in the Crisis, so he's dealing with his guilt and abandonment issues, which is pretty hard for someone who kind of hasn't been able to deal with his own trauma. He is still dealing with his parents' murders and his own guilt over feeling responsible for it. Barry does feel very insecure about being the Flash because he doesn't think he's good enough. 8(

Present Life: Barry's been dealing with Deerington being Deerington. Meeting people, saving people, getting attached to people. The Flash has been active and saving people's hides while also forging relationships, which is great! I'm hoping to get him to do that a little more and even have people connect Barry and Flash are the same.
Barry also got to relive his hijacked wedding and inform people IRIS WEST-ALLEN IS HIS WIFE.
As for the current event, he's dealing with rumours being written about him (that he knows are true even though some aren't), fighting robots and dealing with his guilt because that isn't clearly his usual state of being. I'm hoping to get Barry opening up to some people about some of the shit that's happened in his life because he's otherwise seemingly the perfect picture of positivity.
The Flash and Barry also have separate fluids! This is important to note because I want to try and get two different cr circles for them (and one that overlaps).

Spoilers for Barry—I have a few things I don't want him to know about because I'd like for him to focus on processing and dealing with the fact that he misses out on raising his daughter and being happy, and a few future things will upset that for me. Outing Barry as the Flash—I kind of want Barry to tell people Barry Allen is the Flash, but I'm happy for people to know the Flash's exploits and Rogues via comic knowledge... maybe just be super murky on the Muggle persona. (Feel free to put two and two together if your character meets Flash and Barry.) All of that is laid out in my permissions!

Ruby also has a terrible case of the dead moms so at some point they should bond over that.
She'd also be perfectly fine with training when it comes to either one of them.
Pretty much game for all those future ideas with Barry.
He can awkwardly run into Ruby crawling along the ground with MrSnurtle because she's a dork.

Ruby and Katherine could also bond over mothers since her mother was murdered. If she needs any tips on boys or just wants to be a girl who doesn't drop flowers whenever she runs, Katherine's here for that, too!

Yes plz!! I feel like Barry and Tony would be able to really relate to one another wrt their superhero calling and their family matters since Tony probably understands Barry's inner turmoil about apparently disappearing for 25 years bc of superheroism. How much superheroism do you include in your life now that you're married and with a kid? Do you still go out and defeat the big purple monster or leave it for the singles?
Also!! Barry has his A.I. here as well. Maybe GIDEON might be of interest to Tony?
