bo peep | toy story
Age: it is a mystery, honestly
Employment in Deerington: N/A at the moment.
Residence in Deerington: 408 Prospero Townhouse, aka the House of Toy Feelings
Day to Day Activities: Bo's just trying to find her footing in this town as a toy who has been slowwwly working on outing herself to more of her fellow Sleepers. After mostly keeping her presence here on the down-low (partly out of a desire for self-preservation, but also because old habits die hard when you're used to staying under the radar where humans, children especially, are involved — and this town is full of them!), she recently chose to reveal her existence via the network in a desperate attempt to save Woody's life, so she's going to be dealing with the ripple effects of that. As of right now, chances are you might just see her zipping around town in her RC car disguised as a skunk, although she'll be a little less anxious about letting herself be seen or found out.
About This Character: For most of her life, Bo was confined to the boundaries of a child's bedroom, part of a gentle nightlight lamp along with her trio of equally porcelain (and actually conjoined) sheep, known as Billy, Goat and Gruff (but yes, they are ladies, thank you very much). She typically took on the role of damsel-in-distress for a majority of playtime, dangled over a threatening barrel of monkeys or a "deadly" shark trap in order for a dashing and brave Sheriff Woody to come to her rescue — and behind the scenes, she was more often than not a support system for him, offering him advice and trying to give him perspective about various toy-related existential crises. Eventually, however, her child outgrew the need for her nightlight and she was given away to another family; after that, her timeline is somewhat vague, but she later wound up in the front window display of an antique shop. It was there that she ultimately decided to ditch her lamp and become a "lost toy" of her own volition in order to see the world from beyond the perspective of a shelf, where she'd only be collecting dust anyway.
By the time she's ultimately reunited with Woody, she's been on her own for a while now — well, her and her sheep — and basically thriving. She's still got a secret soft spot for kids and playtime, but she doesn't necessarily worry about assigning worth to herself based on whether or not she belongs to anyone. In many ways, leaving Andy and Molly's house allowed her to really find a new purpose for herself (and unleash her inner badass, lbr) and she's not the toy she used to be, but she likes the one she's turned into.
Any Warnings: No warnings in her application or storyline, but I'll likely only be tagging people with her if we've already discussed any kind of plotting or threads in case anyone would prefer not to opt into interactions with her.
Present Life: A lot of Bo's current journey has been just trying to survive through whatever hells this town chooses to throw at her, but along the way she's been able to really grow and strengthen her relationships with her toy family after several years apart from them, so it's definitely been one of those situations of taking the very good with the real, real bad. (Basically, she is ride or die for her toy family and anyone who hurts them is going to have to deal with her too, even if she's in more stealth mode about it.) She's slowly widening her circle of new friends — mostly kids, because she has a real weakness for revealing herself to any child who might be in distress and look like they just need a toy friend to hug. She and Woody may have recently been married by a child monk? It's unclear, but it seemed pretty official IDK IDK. But this month she's really going to be focused on taking care of him and looking out for him while he's on the mend.
Future Ideas: I just want to continue getting her more settled, letting her meet new people, and focus on building her existing relationships, so if you have any ideas for anything you want to do with her specifically, don't hesitate to come at me with ideas!
CR You Want: All kinds! Any interactions may consist of some stealth and misleading before she becomes comfortable enough to reveal her existence, and she's definitely more inclined to do that with non-human CR first. Also kids who would be interested in playing with her or need a hug from a doll (or anyone who wants to tap into their inner child), because she's still quietly weak for that!
CR You Don't Want: No super-negative CR unless there's an event-motivated reason behind it; romance isn't really in the cards for her either (because why, but also because she's sort of given her heart away to someone already).
