Day to Day Activities: Food shopping at Hart Mart, checking out the library for books re: Deerington for research, going to... school...?? (is school even in session at the moment here--) Since he just got here, he's probably hitting up whatever thrift store or department store he can safely so he can furnish his apartment and attempt to settle in during all of... this.

About This Character: App + powers+etc here! The tl;dr is that Syaoran's the descendant of a powerful magican and next head of his clan, and acted the Designated Ice-King Magical Rival in his series until he got a blow to the feels and fell in love with his rival and became Designated Boyfriend instead. Oops. He starts the series as a grumpy, aloof, jerk-ish kid, but becomes a lot softer, nicer and attentive as time goes on, and overall he's a generally kind kid and good bean who's incredibly honest and straightforward! He sort of comes across as an old guy in a kid's body with how serious and mature he is, but he's also stupidly gullible and innocent and would probably fall for any bullshit story should anyone feed him one. (He also flusters and blushes more than the actual heroine of this shoujo series, so--) He also stresses a ton about people he cares about/those close to him and tends to get very protective of them, so uh... being here is gonna be a fun time for him for sure.
Any Warnings: There's some mild child endangerment and threats of memory manipulation in the original/current series, and he's also from an on-going installment of the manga, so spoilers are likely for that!

Present Life: Syaoran just arrived here, so he's trying to adjust to not only the odd warping of his magic, but also the threat of the Monokuma robots and just the... everything bad and weird about Deerington, honestly. (Doesn't help that his title this month is Ultimate Protector so he's been throwing himself into fighting stuff without being properly prepared!!) His girlfriend Sakura (keystaff) has already been here a few months, so he's not-so-lowkey stressing over what she may have gone through and the warping of her powers, and also just frustrated by not being able to keep her safe from all of this. This, along with stuff already happening in canon, isn't making him a happy camper!!!
Future Ideas: I do want him to eventually get over his inferiority complex a bit and be more conscience of his worth to others, because BOY does he have a bad case of doing risky shit for other people's sake!! Hopefully the Guilt purging this month may help that, but we'll see how that goes?? I also want him to start exploring more aspects of Deerington, such as The Great Sleep and F.E.A.R!

CR You Want: Probably the least helpful of answers but I WANT ALL OF IT, PLEASE AND THANK YOU-- since he's brand-new, he has no connections to anyone here aside from Sakura, and I'd really like to have him to get a little bit of a social base! But if I had to list specifics:

+ people around his age
+ magic users of any type (Magical Girls or Eastern magic would be particularly great!)
+ older people who don't mind being mentors
+ older people who might fuss over him
+ cheerful types to bounce off his seriousness
+ trolling types who might feed him dumb stories (PLEASE, I want someone to dupe him so badly over something)
+ people to tease him and fluster him because the boy is a goddamn tomato

CR You Don't Want: Obviously nothing romantic, due to his age (and also being spoken for), but also nothing with more violent/brutal types. I definitely like negative CR though!

Okay. So Ruby needs to meet this boy. She will feed him so many dumb stories. She had her boyfriend convinced until recently that pizza just shows up at your doorstep nightly for dinner. She needs someone else to troll.

Also the two of them being self sacfricing fools is something we should play around with, along with some sparring and training.

/SLAMS IN HERE THREE DAYS LATE but yes, oh my god, I would be so up for that?? Considering Syaoran canonically falls for bullshit like this in canon, he's not about to question Ruby if she tells him he needs to put a cute drawing in his Blessings Basket or something equally as weird

But also ALSO YES, maybe one of them seeing it from another perspective might be like 'oh, that's actually a pretty bad idea'... or they might just feed each other's cycles of I MUST DO DUMB SHIT FOR THE ONES I LOVE-- either way, I'm good with however that takes shape! (And I am 100% good with them being sparring/training buddies too, give him new kinds of weapons to learn how to defend himself against)

Perfect, Ruby's a little gremlin and always needs more people to mess with. Those drawings definitely need to be addressed to Sakura too.

I'm cool with either way! Most likely it'll probably start off as feeding into the habit before they start to realize maybe this isn't such a good idea. But also good however it ends up flowing naturally.

So probably after they get to know each other, Lan Wangji would like to train him and mentor him using traditional Eastern magic? Like giving him magic lessons, cultivate spirit energy, and also sparring and mentoring him in swordsmanship. In his canon, Lan Wangji has train disciples in his sect, so he's just the right age to learn and take on as a student!

Also training him to be strong and confident for his girlfriend!

But I would be absolutely up for that! He has had a lot of magic and swordsmanship training back home in canon, but since his normal magic got warped something ridiculous, he would be all for learning a new form of it/new techniques so he has something more reliable to fall back on! (And also, yes, all of the sparring, he can't just keep practicing his forms by himself like a lonely little kid) He's very studious and diligent when it comes to training, so he'll be an A++ student for Lan Wangji to have!

but yes, please, he needs all the help he can get in that area
