Personal Style: I normally gravitate towards brackets, but I do write in prose on occasion! I'm open to either, it's not an issue for me. I'm a little on the slow side, particularly with also going back to work again after lockdown beginning to be lifted in the UK. My 'weekend' is mid-week, as I'm a weekend worker. I do try to get back to people within the week, and not let things get much older than a week but yeah, I can take a while getting back to things sometimes. That being said, I can hit things back quicker at times! It changes up a lot, depending on circumstances. I'm also happy enough to backtag for a bit but I like to get threads wrapped up or drop them within 2 - 3 months.

Character Name: Luna Lovegood.
Age: 18
Employment in Deerington: Deerington Highschool Student, she'll be going into 12th grade after the summer! After doing a little assistant work, she took over some Newt's of responsibilities at The Menagerie and does on occasion make home visits.
Residence in Deerington: 410 Prospero Townhouses, currently living alone.
Day to Day Activities: Although they're currently on summer break, at school she is commonly found with Peter Graham trailing behind her like a gloomy shadow. If you've seen either of them around at school, you'll have seen the other close by. Luna can also be found walking a larger-than-usual husky by the name of Helga, who was adopted by Newt Scamander during a December plot back in 2018. She also goes about attending to people's pets/creatures for checkups, or can be found at the Menagerie. Additionally, she spends a lot of time in and around the Deerington National Park.

About This Character: Luna is a teenage witch from the Harry Potter series, introduced in the Order of the Phoenix as Hogwarts' weird kid loner. Known for her dreamy demeanour, uncomfortable honesty and bizarre beliefs, Luna is well known in the school as 'Loony Lovegood' - even in the weird and wonderful world of Harry Potter can people be 'too weird'. She later joins Dumbledore's Army in response to Umbridge's measures at the school and becomes one of Harry's closest friends - aiding him in dealing with death and loss, as well as joining the fight against the Death Eaters. In Deathly Hallows, she was kidnapped and imprisoned at Malfoy Manor in a bid to silence her father's support of Harry, as well as arguably being valuable as a close friend of Harry's. Her current canon-point is April 30th/May 1st 1998, on the eve of the Battle for Hogwarts, where she's heading back to Hogwarts after Neville called her back via the DA coins.

Any Warnings: Luna can make reference to her past experiences at school, where she was bullied, had her things stolen, and was essentially ostracised by her peers. She also has suffered parental death, something she personally witnessed. Warnings of essentially being a child soldier/war settings do come into play, as well as kidnap, forced imprisonment and magical torture.

Present Life: Luna is the Ultimate Friend this month, which manifested in her being driven to do everything she can for people/her friends, and trying to help them as much as she can. This also had her out in town a lot, using her magic to help tackle the happenings going on in Deerington. She's been putting out fires, cleaning off graffiti, fighting the Robokumas and Betties, as well trying to keep Fern alive/together thanks to the heavy usage of pesticides. This over-usage of magic ultimately wears her down towards the end of the month, to the point of collapsing and falling into a short coma so she can recover, where she's looked after by Mrs Sheringham.

Additionally, her relationship and budding romance with Peter Graham has been growing in various ways. After clearing the air between them last month, they went on a date at the start of the month at the arcade and it was very cute. Luna also learned about Paimon being a demon last month and decided to throw herself into research to try and find a way to help Peter. With Peter's status as the Ultimate Host meaning Paimon has been taking control more and more of him as the month's gone on, she's decided to form a bond/make a pact with Paimon to become 'summoner/magician' in hopes of achieving equilibrium between demon and host, so that Peter isn't completely lost under Paimon's growing power and influence.

Future Ideas: I'm planning on getting Luna some of her things from home, namely her Hogwarts school trunk, and also some potions supplies. She's built up a small collection of plants from home from a couple of months ago and I'd like for her to attempt making some kinds of potions to sell: namely calming draughts and sleeping potions tbh. Y'all gonna need it. I'd also like to see her reaching out more to people with experience with demons and such as she struggles to come to terms with her bond with Paimon, and try to navigate that. Additionally, I think it'd be cool for her to start collecting information on the creatures found in Deerington and putting together a book of sorts to help Sleepers in dealing with them.

CR You Want: She can also do with more lady friends in her life tbh. I'm also always looking to build friendships with people her own age. Maybe it's people she already goes to school with, but hasn't interacted with properly yet. Fellow misfits, outcasts, the magical/supernatural/occult sorts. Possible parental figures to look out for her.
CR You Don't Want: No shipping please! She's already got a budding romance in the works. I'm not opposed to some one-sided/unrequited crushing, but it wouldn't move beyond that.

Character Name: Daryl Dixon
Age: Late thirties - early forties. I place him around 42.
Employment in Deerington: Unemployed af.
Residence in Deerington: out in the woods Occasionally crashes at 221 David Cliff Apartments on Louis' balcony.
Day to Day Activities: Highly anti-social and struggling to settle into life in Deerington, Daryl can mostly be found in Deerington National Park, to the point he'll be living out there for days on end. He occasionally can be found around where Louis lives (and Daryl stays on occasion, and gets beer money) but he largely keeps to himself outside, mostly exploring as much as he can.

About This Character: Daryl Dixon is a zombie-apocalypse survivor, around twenty months into the end of the world (boy does it feel a lot longer). Originally from northern Georgia and a man who grew up in an abusive household, Daryl grew up very much so your standard stereotypical redneck, tagging along with his older brother, Merle. After the world went to shit, Daryl and Merle joined a group of survivors outside of Georgia that was eventually led by Rick Grimes. Merle disappeared (and later died) and Daryl became the right-hand man and brother of Rick as he tried to keep his small group of survivors safe as they moved from place to place.

Daryl is quiet, surly and doesn't trust others easily, considering the state of his world. He's a decent judge of character, and can learn to trust others with time. He can often be hostile, crass and cold but he's gentle and caring deep down underneath all the horror and trauma. And boy is he loyal, too. His canon point is the season opener of season seven, with the introduction of Negan, the leader of the Saviours, and deaths of two of Rick's group.

Any Warnings: The Walking Dead is a zombie-horror apocalypse canon, that focuses on the lives of a group of survivors and their struggles as they comes to terms to the 'new world order'. Understandably, this does come with a lot of content warnings due to nature of the canon, such as zombie-related horror, murder, gore and a lot of violence. But for Daryl specifically, his content warnings are parental death, child abuse of both emotional and physical forms, child neglect, murder, sibling death. As a hunter, he often deals with the hunting and killing of animals - something that's likely to come up in his tags. Additionally, Daryl comes from a home life/background that is heavily steeped in racism, sexism and homophobia. While Daryl has evolved from this very close-minded way of thought, it's possible sometimes this may come up in his threads that deal with certain personal horrors.

Present Life: Daryl is still pretty fresh in Deerington, having only arrived last month. He's largely hating it, finding it difficult to settle into this 'reasonably normal town life' and he misses his people. He has two canon-mates in the shape of Louis and Clementine who he'll be keeping a close eye on, with them being from home but he's been keeping mostly to himself. He's helping out others when it comes to fighting monsters and just trying to work out what colour of shit this place is this. Recently, with the current event, he's been outed with his responsibility/role in the death of one of his friends, Glenn and there'll likely be a lot of fall-out with that. This place sucks, y'all.

Future Ideas: I'm excited to keep building CR with him in all honesty? With him being so new, there's pretty much nothing solid with him as of yet and I just want to see where he's gonna go? I do need to get him a job at some point because he can't keep living off Louis' money forever but I'm still a little unsure where he might choose to find employment? So there's that.

CR You Want: Want some more best friends? Initial negative CR meetings that can shift into positive CR. Foil characters against Daryl's moody, sullen character. Found-family. Friends/comrades-in-arms. Fellow apocalypse survivors. Parental/sibling bonds with Daryl as the parental/older sibling role for younger characters. Daryl in body-guard/support/protector roles.

I literally almost mentioned the fact that Dana is very much a Beth type (softspoken, kind of nerdy, etc.) but she's also a werewolf now so a little more of a badass than she used to be! I can definitely keep an eye out to tag Daryl with somebody down the road, for sure

But hell yeah, gimmie them zombuddies! Lmao, I love how everyone else seems to be so much further down the timeline of apocalypses compared to him. I think he's technically only 20 months in due to TWD's weird way of plotting. It'd be cool for him to see how others are doing with their apocalypses!
