Player plot : Ghostly murders

Hello Deerington,

We have a player plot for you to consider. At the end of September Arthur's house is going to be invaded by a ghost who is going to be staying for a while. This is not a friendly Casper but a vengeful spirit that will make their lives hard for a while. Eventually the ghost will possess one (or both) of them and cause quite a bit of havoc while it goes about its way of trying to enact its death time and time again and get back to the people who wronged her in death, not really caring if she catches the right culprit or not in her ghostly rage.

What we'd like to ask from the community is help for advancing the plot!

So, what we need?
1. Someone to help them try cleanse the house, maybe a ghost banishing, exorcism, whathaveyou. They won't be knowing a whole lot what's going on aside from the strong poltergeist energy at that point.
2. Characters to hurt when the ghost manages to possess one of them. This could go from minor injuries to death. She's likely to drown her victims. Possessed character will have some enhanced powers for the duration of the possession. Ghostly strength and speed etc.
3. Help with eventually getting rid of her, maybe some magic? Holding the spirit? Something like that. We have a plan of taking the possessed character to the Seventh Door and there the spirit will turn into a deer permanently. But since our characters possess no powers of their own and no abilities to handle a ghost, they're going to ask help with it.

Either one sounds like a good idea to us. Which one you'd be more interested in? And would you like Dustin to be killed or just hurt? At the simplest version of it, he could stumble upon the possessed dude somewhere where there is water available and just be drowned. Or we can get other characters involved to stop the attempted murder.

how many characters do you have up on the chopping block? i really like the idea of dustin's first death being some off the wall random occurrence bc mood but i'm willing to work with y'all. just for maximum sad factor i offered him up bc HIM

Not a whole lot at the moment. There are some bites elsewhere but no one hasn't yet been interested in being completely killed off. It's all up to you of course! It'll be awful in any case. D: Poor child. Max sadness indeed. Eames is a tough-skinned criminal but this will get under his skin. I'm quietly hoping you're up for some CR after event while he tries to make up for it. (Again, up to you, though!)

Yeah, potential CR. Eames might just look after him from afar. He'll feel mighty guilty if he realises what's happened. Even if it's not his fault. So yeah. I suppose having a regular james bond as your guardian angel isn't that bad either.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are both Cultivators and their entire job is to basically get rid of resentful spirits.

So I would definitely offer up Wei Wuxian for helping to remove the spirit.

That's lovely. How would you like him to be contacted for coming to help them with the poltergeist? Help with the house at the start and try to get rid of the spirit?

He can definitely help out at the start! If he puts out a call for someone to get rid of it he would jump right on it.

I definitely want to get involved in this, although I haven't yet decided which character. I don't really have anyone that could help with the exorcism parts, but I do have people that could be scared and/or possessed.
