may i offer you a ridiculous rock troll plot in these trying times
Hi guys!! I've just been approved for a player plot that is going to be retroactive to having started in the beginning of December and will go throughout the rest of it.
For those who may not have seen, Kristoff made a video post about the holiday he celebrated in his world dedicated to the heroic troll, Flemmingrad! It's a very normal troll holiday, set up with lots of stew, a gathering ballad, and a really fun statue! And bonus: you get to lick it.
It's gross, everyone knows it, but... For those who choose to actually lick the rock, they will be blessed with good luck for the whole of December. This will be mostly in small doses, like managing to fix something on the first try when you usually wouldn't be able to or getting to cook a meal right when normally you burn it, or maybe narrowly avoiding slipping on ice, or having someone there to save you at the right time if things are going sideways. It might be able to be brushed off as a coincidence, but it would just be a small something to make people's lives a little easier as a reward for being willing to do something that is objectively disgusting to make some random dude happy.
Since the post was public, anyone can find it at any point during December, and I'm willing to backdate threads to earlier in the month if people want to! Anyone who's already licked the rock can automatically choose to opt-in to getting actual good luck from doing so, or if you aren't interested, you can just say it didn't work for your character.
I'll also probably put up a prompt for it for anyone who wants to have their character stumble on Kristoff and his precious Flemmingrad statue since he'll have it up on his front porch for the majority of the holiday season. Feel free to bug him any time.
