first of all, Sean is an excellent swimmer and a great candidate for saving people who find themselves getting swept into blood rivers, so please let me know if you, like me, enjoy causing trauma for your character

I'm a little late for the constant blood vomiting, but that's also on the table.

Sean's not likely to become a beast or witch through negative emotions, but he is stricken (??) with Insight, so likely to become a witch that way, I guess?? (I'm not really familiar with Madoka and don't really understand a lot of this so I'm open to suggestions here!) his No Man's Land is going to be a very gray, stark, bleak place and his Host is obviously going to be a whole barrel of laughs so... yeah... let's do stuff!!

Because doing it with blood rivers sounds like an excellent time for it, L M A O.

Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event:

- Oh man. I love the Witches from Madoka Magica. Y'all don't even know. They were my favorite part of that show, and you can bet your britches I'm gonna make a No Man's Land for Jesse. Come on in.

- Jesse will be suffering from the effects of Insight, so I'd love to write him either using that manic energy with someone, and/or having some of his negative emotions bleed through. This could include lashing out at people he wouldn't. Angst, anyone?

- Also equally down for lighter threads just exploring the town, helping out people in need, and generally having good, creepy times around Deerington.

JESSEEEE But no seriously Hana's gonna get hit with that awesome Insight too. Some good stuff. Gimme that sweet sweet angst. I'm still trying to decide if there's a possibility of her turning into a beast or not. She's a hot head but I wouldn't say prone to violence.

I would LOVE more CR with Hana! <3 Heh and yeah, I kind of took liberties with the prerequisites of the Beasts/Witches to justify turning Jesse into one. Figured Insight would push characters to those emotional extremes they might not usually go to, so even if a character isn't usually overwhelmed with those feelings, it could happen during the event.

I could have Jesse interact with a transformed Hana if you'd like! Or we can have them both dealing with their Insight together before things get really bad for them both.

Natasha Romanoff | MCU

CR Wanted: Basically everything, which I know isn't super helpful, but she's brand new and so I want her to meet people. People that have had rough lives, soldier/spy/living weapon/people with powers types are pretty easy to work with, but I'm open to whatever. Natasha will frequently adjust how he presents herself to suit the situation, and
CR Not Wanted: I'm not against contentious dynamics and personality clashes, but for full-on negative CR I like to plot it a bit, in part because Nat tends to generally be pretty good at avoiding that sort of thing if she wants to.

Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: Okay, so I need to reread the event to make sure that I got it all, but at first blush these are my thoughts / desires.

- I am going to be topleveling, and there will be a (limited) prompt for her No Man's Land; my current idea is focusing each thread on a different item that has to be found / replaced / etc. I haven't worked the items out yet, but it'll probably not be more than five.

- That said I am 100% down for toss her into other peoples' No Mans' Land too. AND I super love the idea of one of her items being lost in someone else's / her having someone else's item, etc etc. That said I would like there to be some logic / reason to why - so if you'd be interested, hit me up and let's plot something.

- I might give her Insight, considering she has some pretty intense psychological trauma, even if she normally hides it well.

- She is going to be stocking up on incense and the like, but I want her to lose her portable supply / end up staying out too long, possibly through an accident with the boats that topples her into the blood river while she's out getting supplies / helping people and have it take her too long to get back. Leading to some unfortunate side-effects.

- She's definitely going to be a Beast, and will be going through at LEAST a partial transformation (probably loosely based around the symbiote Black Widow stuff because horrifying spider legs!!).

- I'm trying to decide if I want her to have to deal with broken bones so soon after getting here or not. I waver between on the one hand, it'll make her less into being around people, but it could *also* put her in the position of needing other people. So tbd, still working that out, if you have thoughts on that point hit me up.

- Given all this mess, I have thoughts that Nat will probably start offering self-defense training specifically for those who are not generally combat-suited. It'll be focused on making use of your environment, and basically trying to create an opening that will allow for escape. So for anyone not super into combat that would like to know a few moves, that sort of thing.

I'm down for Logan meeting Beastified Nat, if you'd like! Maybe even after her getting out of the blood and he just sees the beginning of her transformation? Or she's already changed enough that he doesn't see her human face?

He's not altruistic enough to save everyone he sees and he's never met her so he won't recognise her and could easily just fight her a bit before eventually running away, but if he sees she was human once he'll be more likely to try popping into her NML and cleansing her. :> It's up to you if you'd like him to!

Logan's NML is also open for exploration, especially since he cleansed it earlier in the event and it's more or less safe now. I'm also totally down for him teaching Nat how to fix people's altars if that's something that interests her; maybe she catches him saving someone and asks how he did it, IDK. DEPENDS ON HOW HECTIC YOU WANT THIS TO BE.

Ohman, I love the idea of him seeing her as she climbs out of the blood and her transformation starts to kick in! I am all for him popping into her NML, though it's going to be a lot of Red Room flavored nonsense and probably some other weird messed up stuff, so basically it'll probably not be fun for either of them. But in an interesting way!

Alternatively: I would be interested in her learning how to cleanse altars since it'd give her more incentive to poke at peoples' NML even if she doesn't know them very well if she actually knows how to fix it. I mean, I'm also just down for beastly scuffles too...

BUT I unabashedly love the whole idea of NML stuff so I am suuuper down to poke at that and see what happens. xD Find one of her lost items help her fix her altar, etc etc

LOGAN IN THE RED ROOM... THAT WOULD BE AWFUL, HE'D EASILY BE THE WORST OF THEM ALL, BUT OF COURSE THIS MEANS GIVE ME THE THING. What I'm thinking now is that she doesn't fully transform yet, so he touches her tattoo to keep her from transforming all the way and then cleanses her NML so the transformation wears off and she's back to ~normal? No need for any broken bones!!!!!!!

And sure, that sounds fine to me. I mean, I ammmm having her fully transform later so she can fight with spiderman but I have found that the looser I keep continuity the happier I am because DW is just kind of a mess that way, lol. So, you know /aggressively jazzhands!

CR Wanted: Any and All, but please keep in mind I'm going to be trying to limit myself to only a handful of threads so as not to get stretched too thin.
CR Not Wanted: Nothing coming to mind, really. Let's hash out a thing?
Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event:

Hana will be receiving Insight and thus some hyperactivity and also receive the lovely voices in her head and dredging up issues of PTSD and insecurities within her role as a MEKA pilot. If you've seen the Shooting Star short, it's roughly going to be that but dialed up for the event. Hana will undoubtedly become a witch for this event due to immeasurable amounts of guilt and despair she feels at not being able to be back home with her team.

That said, I am absolutely all for killing her as a resolution to her transformation into a witch. If someone decides to go the No Man's Land route - Hana's tattoo is located on the back of her neck and her No Man's Land will be a manifestation of Overwatch's Busan Map, though the layout will obviously be a bit warped and less colorful.

If you manage to get to her altar, the flower surrounding it is the Mugunghwa, South Korea's national flower and her altar's item that needs to be found will be a bunny keychain, not unlike the ones that hang off the end of her guns for each of her skins in the game.

CR Wanted: uuHHH I JUST GOT HERE so, like, anything. i'm pacing myself and opting out of the second half of the october plot just so i don't. die.

Ideas/Wishes pertaining the event: bear with me as i read through event stuff.........

--> insight! he's got some daddy issues (the i-don't-want-to-be-like-dad kind) and still feels guilty for what happened between his brother and dad. so. it's time to talk to the voices in your head. or his head. anyway, any gen pre-monster threads are welcome since uuhh i guess he'll just be waking up to no sun. luckily he won't find that too alarming. the blood river though. that's unhygienic.

but having head issues isn't going to stop him from going around and getting... situated.... in this bloody (haha) place. he's just as willing to go around helping others on his way to doing. things.

--> slow beast transformation! generic shark teeth, claws, maybe one of those little spade-tipped tails. he might grow a horn. just one. to make his life harder. he's not the violent sort so he won't be going through Big Gore Explosion, BUT as time goes by he may be less up to Talking and more up to Clawing.

--> once the memories are shot he'll likely end up roaming the streets looking for 'something', that is to say, his brother. probably. as time goes on he may start losing track and think he's back in devildom after all (there's.. no sun.. in the demon kingdom... just two moons, which. this is close enough.) and start pulling off a 'no i'm the demon king' in increasingly desperate spurts. the more someone tries to deny this (with or without reasonable explanations), the more aggressive he'll probably get (as it's directly tied to his brother's supposed well being and staying alive) and the harder he'll be to kill, of course

--> death is fine if it needs to happen, what a great way to enter a game. he won't have any additional abilities besides using telekinesis-magic to make it look like he has super monster strength, but using magic will cause injury to himself (headaches, nosebleed, nausea, body palpitations...) which.... won't stop him.... beastie mind. his weakness will be general physical attacks, particularly using that sword he arrived with (fencing sword that he will not touch the entire time due to having no idea how to use it) for symbolic reasons.

--> no man's land will be the devildom forest with a burning house in the middle of some tower ruins, lots of things cracked and floating in the air. getting out will involve using a copy of the fencing saber (conveniently found upon landing) to stab the only other item on the altar: a singed sweater (his little brother's). y'know. for more symbolism.

the host will very likely not be of much help finding the place, and the trees might get a little Mean, but the forest is not too dense and smoke rises high.

--> aftermath will be kind of lighthearted because he's already the type to go 'uh, it's nothing' when asked about his injuries, which will carry into the beast transformation and just. persist afterwards. broken bones? it's fine. he does not have healing abilities it's just. fine. it's okay. don't worry bout it. he'll still be going around town doing shit and helping out with incense as long as one leg is fine.

I'm not really familiar enough with Merlin enough to know which would be the best prompt. no man's land? aftermath?

YEAH ABSOLUTELY......

hmmm i'm not super familiar with majima or the yakuza games either, which! didn't stop us last time. both sound good... they are both beasts so that would probably make entering NML a little less of a fight to the death, if we so please. or you know. sometimes people just Connect over trying to kill each other, i'm sure that's a thing that happens.

aftermath would also be good i like them both i want them both. :|b
