Welcome to the newest event! This is an exciting time and the event provides several chance encounters for your characters. Remember, everyone, all things in this game has consequences so don't think this will be the last you hear of this event.

Reaction to the video: Scarlett will be knocked out for the hour.

Insight – Scarlett will be given the gift of Insight from her powers of the orange moon she suffered from last month. She could be found doing the following things.

- Exploring/freaking out at the Insight abilities and how they change the town.

- Being completely overwhelmed by the voices bombarding her.

- Taking refuge/someone dragging her to the church (TAAAAAAAKE ME TO CHURCH~) so she can get some respite from the effects of the Insight.

However, as someone who is both prone to violence/negative emotions, Scarlett will eventually fall victim to becoming a beast. She’ll be undergoing a full transformation. She’ll be completely consumed by feelings of anger and isolation.

- If you want your characters attacked/killed by Scarlett in this state, hit me up.

- Her weakness will be holy items. It’s a bit of an ‘on the nose’ thing considering she’s a demon and someone who’s come back from the dead. This could be things like holy water, iron, rocksalt. Hell, stab her with a crucifix.

- I’m currently undecided if I’m going to be killing her or not. :|a

I’m super intrigued by the No Man’s Land feature which I would prefer if it were some of her closer CR doing this particular option although it’s not completely off-limits to others.

- Her No Man’s Land will be a loud, dark and dilapidated world. Everything’s falling apart, including the Labyrinth, bits of things breaking off and floating into a huge black hole in the sky. Lots of climbing/clambering about this broken place, hope you’ve got decent shoes on. I’m thinking sort of like Limbo in Inception. It’s mirroring the end of the world Scarlett endured in her own world.

- Her essential item (which I’m still deciding on) will be inside an equally falling-down version of her home (it’ll require a lot of climbing over rubble oops) and the altar will be in the center of the labyrinth.

she's welcome to pass by lo's place if you want incense reprieve for her! he'll have a huge hole busted in the wall of his kitchen, so the scent's going to be wafting out down the sidewalk and junk. \:D/

he'll want to hear what she sees with the insight thing too if she wants to talk about it, but we definitely don't have to go that angle if she doesn't.

do we want to know how there's a hole in his kitchen?? :'D but oh man, y! that would be good for her. sanctuary!!!

and she might actually be willing to talk about it because at this point, after having minor hallucinations last month, she's pretty sure she's actually losing it. she'd probably be hoping he can see it too, alas.

there was a teleporting incident with a wendigo gone wrong, IT'S OK. he intends to fix his house... one day... but it's a good thing he hasn't fixed it yet so people can gather at his house like stray kittens finding a grumpy mama cat (': scarlett can have some sprite and some fruit, if... those're things she's allowed to eat...

and yeah, lo's not gonna have any insight, but he's... honestly going to ask if he's allowed to write down what she's seeing for future reference. :|a;;;; after hearing F.E.A.R. has some kind of private secret library that normal people can't access, he's decided to make his own little handwritten notes of deerington occurrences. LAUGHS...

oh, yeah. she can eat and drink like a normal human! she would much prefer some whiskey or gin if he has any, however. (she might look like a teenage brat but she's legal to drink, honest.)

i mean fair. she's gonna be like "r u a fukken nerd or???" but if he wants to write things down, he can if he wants. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, BUDDY.

Also, would you like me to start it, or should I hit your toplevel? I'm just asking because Lo's toplevel for this event will only have specialised starters!

If you could start it, that would be great! I'm not sure when I'll get my TL sorted out (and I tend to write essays) so that would really help for me!

Would you be interested in Scarlett attacking/coming after Blake in her beast form? I think that could eventually lead into some CR after all of this blows over, too, because Blake's a follow up kind of guy. /o/

He's no match for any beast during this event, so he'll need saved. Sailor Mars is going to do this, so it'd eventually turn into a three way thread. Figured I'd bring that up ahead since I know that's not everyone's bag.

I haven't gotten my TL up yet as I'm working all weekend but I hope to get it done for Sunday night or Monday if I'm too tired!

Would you like to start the thread with him seeing Scarlett as she's supposed to be first or just accidentally coming across her as she's a beast? Just so I know how to start the prompt but I'm easy either way!

Assuming it's a quick transformation, I am down for him seeing her first. He's going to be armed with incense, but it'd be safe to say he might find himself low or out on his way back to his safe house.

Otherwise, totally fine with heading right into the beast. Blake's a wily bastard, but I doubt he'll be able to hold his own for long at all. Mostly best suited for agility, so maybe something that can lead into/between the structures or... anywhere that's not rivers of blood so he can do a lot of dodging. /o/

It's gonna be rad and he'll know who to look for after all this blows over, hopefully, if he can see Scarlett first.

I can loop in Mars' player, too, when we're ready. /o/

This works! She's basically going to be charging all over the place - with brute strength rather than agility - so he should be okay dodging her! Just keep out of the way of those antlers and the flying debris, buddy.
