YELLS, I WAS ABOUT TO SAY I WANTED SOMETHING WITH REI/SAILOR MARS IN YOUR COMMENT since she won't be turning witchy so she and Logan can explore their joint NMLs together and figure it out together... while the other personalities go berserk and they have to ward them off. l a u g h s

BUT WOLVERINE AND SAILOR MARS, AMIRITE??? Plus I think the joint dream would give them that buddy cop bond that gets them to search for Sodder together in the second part of the event!

If Logan encounters Rei instead of Mars in the NML and you want him to team up with Mars for Sodder-searching, then honestly the fact that Mars'd know how to save people peacefully would be a big thing for him and he'll team up with her anyway even if he doesn't know who she is. :Dd IT'S A WIN-WIN SITUATION.

That works out pretty well! We can play the Mars/Rei thing by ear either way because if there's danger she WILL transform, and Logan can probably figure out why she's so 'eh' about mutants then. SO let's do the joint thing and all this!

I like the idea of teaming up, because man that is just some real comic book teamup nonsense right there. She can even fastball special him if need be.

Oh man, yeah, my idea is that Logan's part of the NML will be mostly dark purples/blacks/dark reds, with Sentinels trying to grab at them from where they've melded with the shadows. They're not the main threat though and aren't nearly as destructive as they are in canon, just your token HANDS EVERYWHERE monster in the token horror setting to immobilise you and force you to use more energy. The real threat's the berserker, who's basically Weapon X in Apocalypse or X-24 from Logan (2017), but he's just a person-shaped dog who can... probably fall prey to Rei's empath abilities, now that I think about it... :/a Although ngl, I'm highly tempted for the berserker to take the form of Liev Schreiber's Sabretooth, LMAO.

SO I guess Lo'll know that Rei is Sailor Mars after this? fantastic

BUT OH MY GOD I NEED HER TO FASTBALL SPECIAL HIM NOW I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS LMAO???

I was going to use those same colors to do Rei's twisted up version of Tokyo, so we could just use buildings and stuff from there with the sentinel hands, etc. That'd give the setting a bit of both of them, and he's been to Tokyo!

Since she's not going all Witch-y her issues are mostly going to manifest in being unwilling (initially) to work with a man. Since she has issues and is pretty openly sexist about men in stressful situations this should fit pretty well. They'll have to work together to deal with the Berserker and the sentinel hands and other challenges (maybe I'll toss in a tiger to represent Tiger's Eye) and her impulsiveness will start out as a problem she has to overcome.

Oh my Goooood, I love it. Some of the Tokyo buildings can be destroyed too for that ~Sentinel War feeling, I can see it now. I dig the fact that being in this stressful Other World will make it so Logan will want Rei to cooperate with him enough that he won't just walk out on her when she's stubborn about working w/ him. \o/

His special item is gonna be his dogtags I'VE JUST DECIDED (reading "Wolverine" and "James Howlett" rather than Logan) and it'd be sweet if that was on the Berserker so they'd really have to subdue/kill him to grab those. NICE NICE NICE. I'll be NPCing him as a kind of lurking dude at first that they can hide from/watch I think, and then maybe kind of be like a final boss battle?

But oh man I'm so stoked for this you have no idea!!!

Sorry I went quiet! I was doing school work. I'm totally down for them trying to get the tags off of the Berserker.

I'm thinking this will be perfect too. Rei's special item is most likely going to be a tengu mask that her grandfather has. It'll represent pretty well the only man in canon who hasn't treated her like shit. We can work it into some sort of, IDK, scenery? Like a shiny Key Item hanging somewhere in a survival horror game.

but what if one of the sentinels wore it and you can't really tell unless you squint and realise... this one... has a nose??

then they grab it and the mask gets all its designs back since it's back in Rei's possession or something goofy and sentimental like that...

but also, will you be starting it or should i? i don't have any preferences; i just wanna make sure i know which things i'll be starting (if ever) for lo's toplevel!!
